The amount of my refund was far below what I paid. I was told I'd have to go home and buy the next size up then bring both pants in if I wanted a full refund. I did this and somehow the next size up is also too small. I go back and bring both in and am offered the same small refund. They don't refund your shipping cost even if you're exchanging for size because their sizing is weird and you are for sure buying the bigger item! So in the end, I have a pair of too small pants that cost me $57 when they retail for $35

Well only one package has arrived and one package is now saying 4.10. I needed them before them for family pictures. Now I have to figure something out because they screwed up/ lied about delivery date. The funny thing is, I could have done in Store pick up for the ones that are now late on delivery for same day, but wanted to get them all at the same time, believing that they were being shipped together. Probably not gonna keep my membership for unreliable service.

Ironically, every time I go into this dang store, I say to myself, "I am just going to browse" and then I leave with multiple bags. A $100 visit to Altar'd State or a $100 visit to a therapist? Don't bother convincing me to go see Kathleen, LCSW again; I already swiped my card at this gem of a store. I am still trying to convince Blue Cross Blue Shield to reimburse me for the dress and shoes I purchased the other day. The first time I found Altar'd State, I thought to myself, "what the heck is that place?". From the outside, it looks like a literal chapel. The inside is just as breathtaking too. This specific location is located right within Mountain View Village so you can get anything else done while you are in the area. The location is absolutely perfect. They have doors on either side that you can walk through. The doors are a bit heavy but they even have a beautiful touch to them. When you walk inside, you immediately get a wiff of a fresh aroma. I love how it smells in here! As aforementioned, the overall vibe in here is amazing! They have a water ball (? I don't know what else to call it) near the check out area that is really fun to look at. The ceiling and the chandeliers are beautiful...AND the products they sell are amazing of course!!! I don't know who is designing this stuff and I don't know how much they make...but it is not enough. Every time I go into Altar'd State and try something on, it feels like it was literally made for me. I have found so many things I cannot live without while I have been browsing this store. So so so many beautiful shirts, dresses, shoes, you name it. The pricing depends on how you look at it. Typically their pieces start at $70-$80. They are definitely a bit steep. However, they do have a clearance area near the fitting room with some killer deals! I have spent $80 on a few items but I have also bought stuff for as low as $9.99. As much as I love this, it does kind of become a punch in the gut with how it went from $80 to $9.99... I have found cute shoes here and there is so many cute dresses I have found here and wear religiously. Their products are all great and I would definitely rather find cute products in the clearance section but sometimes I can't help but buy the item while they have it in my size and everything. On more than one occasion, I have found ranch inspired products, like a $14 dish towel that says "Ranch dressing is a blessing". I am glad we are on the same page, Altar'd State. The staff is always really nice and helpful. They greet people at the door without being super pushy, like car salesmen. When I was changing in the fitting room, the girl knocked, addressed me by name, and asked me how I was doing & if I needed anything multiple times. Things like this can really go a long way. The cashiers are always quick and nice. I have truly never had a bad experience here in that regard. I am obsessed with Altar'd State and I will continue going back for many many years to come. I tell all my friends how awesome it is and like I said, I can't leave this place empty handed. I can't say enough good things about Altar'd State!!

She checked the barcode apparently and told me that they were different items she scanned, when i literally watched her scan the same item. But I said okay I believe you and started walking out. I checked the receipt and the tags on both the items and she did in fact scan the same item twice. So I went back a made it right. But that has never happened to me before personally, I really do recommend this store though. It's really expensive that's why I was shopping in the sale section cause I'm broke. Even tho their candles are pricey their burn time is almost triple bath and body works candles which when they are not on sell bath and body works candles are almost 28 dollars and have almost a third of the burn time and the wax used for bath and body works candles are harmful. 2. They mark the seasonal products (most) 50% off when the season ends and they put them in the clearance.3. Very clean and almost therapeutic environment due to the music and the candles burning. Now here's what I don't like after going into the store almost 21 times a month.(I know it's unhealthy).1. Customer server is awful they don't great you or acknowledge you. The only time they have ever talked to me is when I buy something. 2. I know the clothes are meant for women but when they dress mannequin it reminds me of when people go to a thrift store and their friends pick random clothes for the other person to wear. Who knows maybe I'm an out of touch male who doesn't know the fashion industry. On top of that they have clothing that you can buy almost identical clothes from that are not hundreds of dollars for jeans or overalls. 3. Check Black Friday sell isn't even good. Luckily, I was able to find them available at a much more discounted price at Journeys online, and even better, the Journeys in Riverton had my size available! I can't remember the last time I shopped in person for shoes and this store has a great selection! I called ahead and they were able to put my shoes on hold for 48 hours. They had a bunch of great brands here - Doc Martens, Vans, Converse, and Birkenstocks - and much more. They even had the much sought after Birkenstock Bostons in the taupe color, which I feel like it very hard to find both online and in store nowadays.
