I asked where to get my fishing license and the young man cheerfully gave me precise instructions. Once I arrived at customer service I was greeted warmly and in less than 5 minutes I had my license. I chose 1 year but you can choose from a good variety of options up to three years! 5 star experience... While I walked about I was asked by a floor monitor if they could assist me with anything... I asked T question and they responded kindly good people in the store. I got some Iowa beef sticks... they also had good variety of jerky... that meaty juicy type not dried. I asked AI what are the top 5 most popular lures that work best in Utah and the store had all of them. I took them, a great Nike T shirt and my beefsteak at the cashiers near the entrance, paid and bid good day. I'd shop this place again.

(I had several questions) 10 minutes in golf department. Same story. 20 minutes in BBQ and the two guys there seemed more worried about the display looking great than offering help. I've always loved Scheels but I am very disappointed with the current lake of service or lack of. I hope things improve! (I only spent $250)

Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. This Sportsman's has been open for about a month now and today was my first time checking it out…read more The building is new and everything inside is well stocked, organized. The interior is also bright and clean. I really liked the wall photos too. Really sets the mood like I'm about to go on some awesome adventures. On this particular visit, only came to pick up some ammunition and spinner targets. Ammo was stocked. They have bulk anmo as well. The firearms department was well supplied too with a good handful of store firearms representatives to answer any questions. I got to walk around the store and was very impressed with how much they fit into a smaller than normal Sportsman warehouse space, and without it feeling crowded too! This is going to be a great location for Eagle Mountain/Saratoga Springs folks. With both these towns, more or less on the edge of housing expansion and neighboring some fun outdoor adventure spots, I gotta say, this location was a great choice! I'll be back!

When we go to the checkout line I told my girls they could each pick out a ball from the small bin of balls. I then bent down to look at something on a shelf. I heard an associate very rudely tell my girls that the balls needed to go back in the bin. Not knowing what to say they started to apologize and the associate repeated "balls in bin!" My girls did as requested and walked over to me. I found it extremely rude and unprofessional that the only interaction we had with any one of service was someone scolding my daughters for holding balls that I said I would buy them ‍. The store was nearly empty and I can understand why. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend doing any business with this store, unless you want to have your kids leave crying. .

Second is if you are going to build a 50 yard range at least make a couple station friendly for rifle shooting on a rest. Nope they were all stand up for pistol shooting. Then 3rd if you are a veteran (I am not but I witnessed them at the counter tell a veteran!) they only give discounts on their overly priced membership. Not single day which cracks me up. If you're a tactical store veterans should be your best friend. All that said I'd give it an average review but would not recommend them. I've been to a ton of ranges and am a registered 4h shooting instructor in Wyoming. There is a ton of improvement here and a whole lot of potential. Really nice building!!
