I love Hello Kitty and my husband knows how much I adore her so we made our way in to check it out. I didn't expect the store to be so eclectic. There's a little of everything here. Clothes, toys, jewelry, socks. It's quite overwhelming but in a fun way. There's so much to look at! There were a lot of dresses and kids clothes in the front. You make your way back to the store and there's more stuff to look at. I did make it to one of the back corners that had more clothes. I did find a pair of overalls that really caught my eye. They are very cute and floral but very expensive. I did notice a few sale tracks but of course I didn't find anything on them. My husband knew I really liked the overalls so he bought them for me. Honestly, I felt shoppers guilt for my husband cause of how pricy they were. They were just fabric overalls that were ankle length. 50 bucks..... I have bought Gap denim overalls at that price but 50 for denim doesn't seem unreasonable. The lady that rung us up was nice. She folded my overalls, bagged them and handed them to me in a bag. Overall it was a neat store but very overpriced. If you are willing to spend the extra bucks for their products then go for it! I know that no one else in town will have the same overalls as me which is cool. But they were pricy and I probably wouldn't have gotten them if it came out of my own pocket. But I'm happy my sweet husband talked me into them.

Living in California my wife and 3 daughters have had to bring an extra suitcase with us to KC to bring back our Rally House haul twice a year. We sing the jingle from the commercials at sporting events to help support the Chiefs, Royals and Jayhawks! When we were in Salt Lake for Utah U orientation for our youngest daughter a couple weeks ago we decided to see if Rally House had expanded to Salt Lake and were excited to find out you were but had not yet opened the location. Imagine how stoked we were this weekend when we were moving her into her dorm and on the way to the school we saw that Rally House Utah was open! Great Location and Huge store! We are excited to watch Rally House Utah grow and mature and expand your inventory into all things UTAH! Keep up the great work and if you need an employee that grew up a Rally House regular you have one 9 minutes up the road!

I like Rec Outlet because I can get warm winter pants for cheap and same with gloves and stocking cap , long sleave shirts etc.. A great overall experience…read more Right off the bat, the employees were super friendly and helpful. The selection was really good and there were some good hidden gems that were priced really well. My kids and I loved sifting through the bins of surplus items and found some cool pieces that we bought. The prices were very reasonable and my kids each had a dog tag made for them right on the spot. I'm only visiting but I know this store will be at the top of my list next time I'm in town. Hooray for the local guy!…read more Kirkham's has always been one of my favorite outdoors stops, and there are some pretty compelling reasons why. First of all, they employ people who are passionate about the outdoors and who, generally speaking, know what they are talking about. There's no push for corporate outdoorsness--I've often felt like I was chatting with a buddy when talking things over with their staff. Second, I like the location. Just off of State Street near the 33rd South exit of I-15. Nice. Third, they carry some quality stuff. The lightweight, high-quality, not El Cheapo stuff is their specialty, and they do it well. Lots of it is set up or out for display so you can get a good look at what you're after. The biggest reason I'm a fan is those Springbar tents. If you're not familiar, a Springbar tent is the greatest family/Scout troop/group tent known to man. They're immortal. They're super easy to set up. They weigh about a half a ton, but they're a tent you buy and pass down to your kids. For real. A few other bonus features: they have a decent selection of climbing gear, they have a tent repair area, they have random tent material (seam sealer, no-see-um mesh, tent stakes, etc.) and a nice book and map selection. Also, I dig the dog hiking gear and the clothing sections.

I've spent many thousands of dollars. I don't go much anymore, so the dramatic decline in stock threw me off. For me, it's because I bought the kind of gear in my 20's and 30's that will last forever, and I'm in my 60's now. I have a reason not to do so much backpacking. In the day, the aisles were narrow and the place was filled to overflowing with everything. They had the regular brands, but they had nearly every one of the esoteric, specialty brands too. Today, outside of North Face, nothing in quality sleeping bags. It looks like a place heading out of business. I was there to look for shirts. In the day, they had as much nice outdoor styled clothing as you find total clothing in the big box store. There just wasn't much to choose from today. Walking around you could see the empty walls that held shoes, boots, and similar. I'm so sad. I assume there will always be a market for the car camping gear that Springbar tent owners are going to need. The Springbar tents are great. I don't own one, although I bought both my backpacking and car camping tents there.

Made my friend a d I feel welcome. The gaiters were 2 for 1. I got confused thinking they are sold as a pair but sold individually. I didn't know what to expect but if you're looking for equipment you need for traversing the snowy backwoods this is the spot. They supply outdoor equipment to sporting goods stores across the country.

They're only located in Midvale, UT ~ right next door to Korean BBQ Of Utah. They have really kind and knowledgeable staff, that are willing to answer all the questions, about their products and activities, in the area. They have the latest and greatest gear available, in so many fun and colorful styles (because that's essential, when you're outdoors lol). And, since so many of the products are out, you can actually touch and feel them! My favorites were these glow in the dark constellations sleeping bags and tents. They have accessories galore, clothes and great backpacks! Everything is so fun and colorful too! It was like outdoorsy eye-candy, I swear! After leaving me on hold for a couple minutes, she got back on the line and asked again what I was looking for, while I was explaining that I was looking for a special edition ruger (RG is listed as a retailer), she hung up on me. I will be taking my business somewhere that they don't mind helping their customers!
