No reply , so I made another offer with no reply then I was told that the price was firm and they couldn't negotiate the price. this dealer tried to sell me a water damaged truck camper,when I asked if it had water damage they said "I don't know" first lie. they were so rude I would never buy anything from them. they called me five times when I had already said no, then when I told them I had already seen the camper and knew it was water damaged they jumped on me by saying "how did you get in here without an appointment?" I have stopped into Camping World on 3 different occasions over the last year since they are the closest trailer supply business to my home. I have been disappointed during each visit because the day they do not carry the items I need. I am not doing anything fancy here. I bought a used trailer and needed a hitch for my truck, some locks for the doors, and a few hardware pieces for the tongue of the trailer. I ended up going to a big box home improvement center for most of the items, and to a competitor for the hitch and the accessories. I have no reason to ever go back here. I purchased a new RV from Draper Camping World in July. We shopped for the RV in June. The sales person had little to no knowledge of the Keystone Brand and I later discovered the RV already came with a factory installed inverter after the sales person quoted me on the cost of the install. We scheduled a day to trade in our old RV, Complete the paperwork and take home our new RV. We put money down to start the install of the additions so the RV would be ready on the day we traveled to Draper to complete the purchase. Upon arrival we found out our sales person had left the buisness two days prior, our trailer was not ready and they wanted us to travel 2.5 hours round trip back to get the RV. In addition the Service shop misquoted the installs for the additions and they wanted to charge us an addtional $4,000 grand for the additions. My wife and I were ready to walk away from the sale when the Sales Manager advised he would eat the additional $4,000 if we would by the trailer. We agreed to move forward. We were told our trailer would be ready for pick up in a week and they agreed to deliver the trailer. The trailer was delivered but the additional AC unit we purchased was not on the RV. I called the sales manager and explained the AC unit was on back order and would not be in for a couple weeks. The AC unit finally arrived and I drove the 2.5 hour round trip and dropped the RV off. A couple days later I was informed the RV was ready for pick up. I drove to the camping world and they advised everything was good. Hindsight I should have had them show me the AC unit was working before I left. Once I arrived back home I plugged the RV in to power and examined the RV. First they installed an AC with no thermostat when the RV has a printed sticker showing there is a thermostat wire installed. When I asked the Service contact he advised our RV was not setup for a thermostat on the addtional AC unit. I turned the new AC unit on and the fan was not working. I immediately called the service contact and he checked with the installer and the installer stated it was working after he installed it. I informed the service contact I could hold a piece of dental floss in front of the vent when the unit was on and the floss did not move. The service contact asked if could bring the trailer back to them. I informed them I could not keep missing work to drive the unit back and forth. The service contact stated they would get back to me. Two weeks passed and not response. Now my temporary plate is expired by two weeks and the DMV has no title paperwork filed by the store under my VIN. I have called the store to find out about getting a new temporary since they have not filed the title work after 7 weeks and I have not heard back. This is my fourth purchase of an RV in the past thirty years from different dealers and the worst purchase experience I have ever had. read more

I would give 0 stars if I could. The experience from the beginning has been a complete nightmare! Do not purchase from this company none the less the store itself. I went in planning to purchase a NEW RV. I found one that I liked and did the financing application etc. The finance guy Terry was horrible. He was disrespectful to my elderly mother with his comments and gestures and also to myself. We finally got up and walked away. The next morning I got a call from Mike (Finance Director). He apologized for his finance guy and then proceeded to sweet talk me into coming back in to purchase from him directly. So, I gave another chance. I purchased the RV and got sucked into 10K in extra stuff (warranties and add on sealants etc.) I thought, "ok, I'm purchasing a new RV I want it covered as much as possible" what a waste. They didn't even do the sealant properly. I stayed in the RV for 2 nights and there were ice chunks on the inside of my windows and water all over the walls and dripping in the bathroom. Now, I understand condensation but pulling ice chunks off the inside of the windows is not normal. All the windows are leaking, the fans in the bathrooms leak, the front door has a gap in it, the trim is falling off, the back bedroom door doesn't shut properly, the kitchen table doesn't connect right as it has the wrong legs, the driver front tire has a bubble in it, the back stabilizer bar on the driver side doesn't retract automatically, etc..... The people at the store want to tell me this is all NORMAL. I think NOT! it is not normal to have things like this on a brand new unit. Now telling me that warranties take 2-3 months to get approved and fix. I have had this unit in my possession for just over a week. I refuse to take the unit back. The service manager got it yesterday afternoon and now is telling me this morning it will be ready today. HAHAHAHAHA no! Not happening. I don't trust this company, I don't trust the people who work there, they are all liars and get people to buy their garbage and then tell them they are out of luck when something goes wrong. I will NEVER do business with Camping World again nor will I recommend it to anyone EVER. This company will use and abuse you and treat you like garbage when you have concerns. They do not care about the customer, their concerns or how they do business clearly. Oh and little did I know, the finance director changed information on my application to reflect what he wanted it to reflect so that he could seal the deal. After looking for a few months I recently purchased a travel trailer from Camping World Draper UT. I worked with Isaac Knox from their sales team. Isaac was incredible. I originally contacted him through submitting an interest message Facebook Marketplace for a particular trailer he had listed. We ended up setting up a meeting time at for the next day. When I arrived it became very apparent that Isaac had done some home work. Isaac had taken the info from the trailer I showed interest in and had a list of similar inventory. This allowed us to go to multiple to look at some of the options that they had available. Not only had he found inventory he knew where they were parked which avoided time spent searching for the trailer. Through out the purchase process Isaac was honest, and kept me up to date. He presented my offer to the manager with me present and the 3 of us discussed how we could put a deal together that everybody was happy with. This made the process very transparent with out the awkward waiting while the sales associate leaves to talk with the manager only to return with a different option than what was discussed. The manager Luc was very pleasant to work with as well. Luc worked diligently to create a deal that included my request. Working with the finance department was smooth as well. Mike Naylor was quick and very knowledgeable to the forms for purchase. Every question I asked was answered with detail. While I liked the trailer that had originally caught my attention on Facebook marketplace I ended up purchasing a different one that Isaac showed me because it was nicer, similar price and will be a better fit for my family. I truly feel like I could not have found a better trailer for a better deal. A HUGE thank you to the service team, specifically Tina, Garrett and Justin. We were en route on a 2,500 mile road trip with a trailer in tow when my bf realized the ball on the hitch wasn't right. Only in town for a day, he called the manufacturer who directed us to service centers that were booked two weeks out and wouldn't accept urgent walk ins. We called Camping World and Tina was so helpful! She told us to come in that day to check it out. Once we were there, Garrett and Justin figured out the issue in a few minutes, had us purchase the part inside (thankfully in stock!), and replaced it in the parking lot. Horrible customer service from the sales and service managers. Deceitful, promised they would have our trailer back to us before Labor Day, they returned it to us today (10/8) and not all items on our list were resolved - including replacing the mattress in the garage bunk which was discussed and promised at purchase at the end of July. Run! The prices look great but it's not worth the hassle - especially when they have your trailer for MONTHS at a time at you are unable to use and enjoy, but are still making payments. read more

I wish I could leave a zero star review. I also wish I had read the reviews before dealing with the dumpster can of a company! First, it was a nightmare trying to get their parts department on the phone to make sure a product was in stock before paying for it online so I could pick it up the next day. I was assured by their employee that I could pick up the Equalizer 16k hitch. So I went ahead with the order. Well that was a lie! I showed up and not only was the factory ball not in the kit. But also they absolutely would NOT allow me to pick it up. Even though it was paid for in full. Their manager made excuses and continued to lie. Definitely one of the most dishonest individuals I have ever dealt with. Since when does the "General Manager" not have the ability to release a purchased item to a customer that was paid for in full? Since when does a "General Manager" not have full access to the systems that operate the business they are in charge of running? If this was one of my employees I would fire them on the spot for dereliction, insubordination and inability to do their job. I am attaching my receipt showing that this was paid for in full! Filing a complaint with the Utah Department of Consumer Protection first thing Monday morning. Time to hold this dishonest business accountable so they can't defraud other customers. I've only ever visited a handful of RV shops in my day, so this is really limited knowledge. I was out looking for a part the other day, and visited a few, however, so it's fresh in my mind. Of the three I saw, this is definitely the most well put together, and most fully-staffed. This place was buzzing with people on a Saturday, and the store are was larger and sleeker than anywhere else I visited. It's not exclusively RV auto parts stuff, but wanders just a bit into accessories. I was looking for something rather small, and visited the parts counter. But the real truth of the matter--and of the whole industry--is that smaller is not their thing. They really cater to the large trailers. Oh, there's a fun movement in this world going on in the teardrop or rugged accessory trailer category, but that's not really what Camping World is all about. They were kind, and gave me some suggestions about where I could go to find the part I needed for a smaller trailer, so I bounced out and continued on my quest. read more

The parts guy knew exactly what I wanted, pulled the products but they weren't the quality I wanted. He was kinda out out that I made him get off his chair and pull a product for me. I recently purchased a teardrop trailer here. The salesman was great personally- but knew nothing about the trailer. Upon negotiation, i was told that they didn't even know what it was worth, which reflected in the high pricing. I wanted to buy locally, so i talked them down a bit. Upon my loan being funded, it was 4,000 more than expected. The 2440.00 warranty that i DID NOT want had been added and i tried to get out of the 1,500 sealant a few days later but couldn't. These guys are the WORST of the worst with wearing you down (I was there 3 hours in bad bad weather and just wanted out) and upsales. The experience of purchasing a camp trailer was good (of course). The service and repair? Not so much. The "Jack knife" bed in our Coleman Rubicon trailer developed a sag almost immediately. Still under warranty, I took it in to Camping World (Draper, Utah) and was essentially told "tough luck" the bed was performing as manufactured, and they could only try and make it better not repair it, so any cost was on me. It was during the process of trying to identify the correct name of this type of bed that I came across a Camping World video on YouTube depicting a walk-around, promotional video of my exact trailer (year, make and model) and the narrator touted the ladder at the rear of the trailer. My trailer DOES NOT have that ladder. When I pointed this out to the Camping World service department, I was told they were not going to install the ladder and that was it. Tired of their poor customer service I will be taking the trailer elsewhere for service and repairs. read more

If I could give this particular dealership negative stars, I would. I actually don't usually take time to write reviews but it would feel negligent not to advise buyers to beware of this one. My company purchased a new 2022 Keystone Fuzion 419 Toy Hauler for business use. The trailer itself had a few repair issues, but Keystone was excellent to stand behind the warranty. In general, the trailer was/is amazing. However, my company was recently bought out by a larger group and I was left with an obligation that I simply wanted to be rid of. It was never my intent to own a toy hauler for personal use. I thought a consignment agreement with Camping World Draper made the most sense because that's where I bought it. It has seemed to be a good arrangement at the time, but ended up being a very bad decision. Recently I had a friend of mine that was interested in purchasing the trailer but when he went in to actually take a look at the trailer, the salesman tried in many ways to redirect him and actually never showed him the trailer. He said he couldn't find it. But he directed him to lots of other options. Obviously, this friend gave me the feedback. As a concerned owner, a few weeks later (today actually) my husband and I thought we would check out the toy hauler for ourselves. We asked for a salesperson to show it to us. It took a while to get anyone to help us us but then TEIG (?) tried to show us (no lie) 5 other trailers. He said he couldn't find the one we'd seen on their website. He outright lied to us and told us the that that particular consignment toy hauler had been sold and that the website simply had not been updated. When confronted with his lie, he finally told us where we our toy hauler was parked on the lot. The reason I'm writing this review is to warn future buyers that if they choose to buy from this dealership, they should know there's a good chance they are being lied to. Outright. I should have done my research. I didn't and I own that mistake. But make this a part of your research. There are many, many honest people out there. I honestly do not know how they are still in business. They are the absolute worst. They sold me a camper and I paid for the extra inspection through them to make sure everything was in good shape when we picked it up. With the extra inspection they are supposed to check all systems and repair them. We took the camper out that first weekend and it totally smelled like mold, the clean water out of the faucet smelled like rotten eggs, and the water heater didn't work. Mike Andrus the GM didn't want to fix any of it. I had to call and email him several times to get them to fix it, as all of these things should have been addressed before we even picked it up. The door and the door handle has always been hard to open/ close. This last trip out, which is only our third time using the camper, the door didn't close. The handle fully gave out and for some reason the door frame , expanded, and doesn't fit the frame...? We also were convinced to buy the extra warranty from Mike Naylor at time of purchase. Mike in Finance said it would be great, as it would cover any issue both interior and exterior. We took the trailer back in and he told the service person that the door expansion is normal wear and tear and wouldn't be covered under the warranty...?! I've tried to call him 5 times so far and he hasn't called me back. Total thievery. Lessons I've learned: I would never buy or recommend buying anything from these people. If anyone does, GET AN OUTSIDE INSPECTION- DO NOT PAY FOR THEIR SERVICE. DO NOT BUY THEIR WARRANTY. read more

Shape or form and the management will back them up at the store level. It will look really good on the surface until you start running into problems and once you start running into problems. They either act like they don't know you. Or they will just try to offer a cheap fix that's not legitimate. I feel very fortunate that mine did not turn out that way. But I have been in a chat group that is just full of horror stories. Facebook has a page called "Camping World Sucks". We went in looking for a specific entry level travel trailer, and ended up buying a site unseen pre-owned Jayco. We thought we did our homework, but was duped into buying something that we should have carefully inspected or had an independent inspector look at. The camper looked clean inside and out, new tires, with that new trailer smell. We got duped into an extended warranty (which we said we didn't want) that covers the roof only. After driving towards our first camping trip we noticed the suspension was lower on one side of the camper than the other. After crawling under we discovered the leaf spring was bent and the rubber bump stop and mount were missing. I called the dealer and asked them about it, and they said we can bring it in, but it will cost at least a thousand or more to repair, and they were backed up for months for repairs. Grrr The outdoor outlet doesn't work (we checked fuses), rear tail light wiring flickers intermittently. Needless to say we got taken, and I can't recommend buying anything from Camping World. If they are going to be dishonest to their customers, then it's not somewhere I want to shop. Now I am $9,000 upside down in a trailer that needs a few thousand dollars in repairs. read more

BUYER BEWARE (PART ONE!!) Last Saturday, we went in to look at a specific 5th wheel. Kelly was our salesman. He did a great job and worked hard to get us the price we wanted. Once a price was settled upon, Mindy from finace came out to try to get us to use them for the loan. We had already told them SEVERAL times that we were already pre-approved with our bank & that we did NOT need their services. Mindy kept telling us that they could get us a better rate. She was super nice and sounded convincing. So, against my better judgment, we agreed to let her try to see if she could get a better rate. However, we SPECIFICALLY told her that we DID NOT want credit pulled with any other lender other than Marine One. (Side note: we were told by Mindy that they could get us a better rate if we let them run it thru our bank instead of us doing it on our own). By the time we went through all of this, the banks were closed. Mindy said she would run it Monday and get back to us. Fast forward to Monday. We receive a text from Mindy.... "Hi Pete, it's Mindy from Camping World...ok we got you approved...the bank is including a 4 year warranty with a $50 deduct on that warranty. I called trona and they said they wouldn't finance a 2014 but I was able to get a little better rate with Marine One. They want $2500 down, can you do that?" I then spoke to Mindy on the phone and was told that in order to get this loan, we had to purchase the warranty policy. 1st of all, my bank did not require us to put down a down payment. We put $1k down that day just to hold the trailer. Second of all, who the heck asked for a warranty??? Not us! BTW, the warranty was going to cost us $5k. Um, I don't think so! I then had my husband call our bank to see why they denied us. Because after all, why would Camping World employees lie about this? Our bank stated that they did not deny anything and that we were lied to. Now at this point, I'm angry! I call to speak with the head manager. I'm told he isn't there so they put me with someone else. (Unfortunately, I didn't get his name.) He, of course, kept interrupting me and would not let me tell him the whole story. He basically told me that our bank denied us and their finance dept got us approved, so why was I upset? I asked for them to provide me with the denial from our bank. He stated he couldnt find it and transfers me to Mike in the finance department. I try to tell Mike the series of events and why I'm upset. He immediately was very defensive and rude with me. Huge mistake on his part! You have to push me pretty far and have to be extremely rude to get me this angry. He told me that there is no denial from our bank because they didnt even run it through them. He then stated that it was ran through 3 different lenders; that we do not have to purchase the warranty; and that we were never told that we HAD to purchase the warranty. However, he then stated that if we did not purchase the said $5k warranty, the price of the trailer goes up! Ummm what? Why on earth would the price of the trailer go up? He couldn't give me an answer. At this point I tell him how ridiculous that was and I again tried to tell him that what they had done was wrong and that they lied to me. He was screaming at me by this point. Now, you can call me names and do anything but yell at me......so, game on! I told him that if my husband didn't want the trailer so bad, I'd tell them to take the trailer and shove it. He yells at me and said that I called HIM a liar and that they don't need my business if I don't trust them... Bla bla bla. At this point, I'm beyond upset and unfortunately, he pushed me too far! I said some explicit things to him and now I'm screaming. I'm very disappointed in myself and am ashamed that I brought myself to his juvenile behavior. To that, I apologize. My adult daughter took the phone from me and had to tell him to stop yelling and that he was no longer talking to me. She instructed him to return my deposit immediately. He said he would and the call ended. BUYER BEWARE....PART 2!!! My daughter tells my husband how Mike spoke/yelled at me. My husband is now the one very upset. He called Kelly and let him know what happened. Kelly was amazing. He calmed my husband down and said that he would do whatever he could to make this deal happen for us. Kelly (the salesman) called me and apologized for what had happened. He sincerely felt bad for what had occurred. I thanked him for the apology and told him that he was not the one who needed to apologize. If Mike was half the man he thought he was when I spoke to him, he would be the one calling to apologize. He should at least apologize for the actions of his finance department. Mindy should also be calling to apologize for running credit to 3 different places even after we told her not to! Kelly put his job on the line to make sure we got the trailer we wanted. I cannot thank him enough for being so helpful and kind! read more

I went in with a few campers in mind I wanted to look at. At first the salesman couldn't find one of them. When he did find it, it had cosmetic damages that were pretty bad. When we went inside to talk, all I wanted was rough estimates on prices and payments because I was still shopping around. They were extremely pushy wanting to do credit checks after I said multiple times I just wanted to do rough estimates. When we had concerns and questions about extra fees and charges they immediately got defensive. The finance guy was loud and disrespectful when we were asking questions. They were also very pushy about me buying the trailer that had cosmetic damages. They wouldn't tell us how long they had the camper there and how much they had already taken off for the damages (they said it was priced for the damages already). While the salesman was talking to us I could see the finance guy and another employee in their office looking at us and laughing. They were extremely unprofessional and I will not be going back there. They will act like you are stupid when you have concerns or questions they will try to avoid them at all costs. read more

Had Camping World install a NEW Onan generator. The technician did NOT use a template to cut out the needed openings (to vent to hot air outflow) on the floor during install. After only 3.3 hours of use, the generator overheated and seized up - unfixable. I am new to RV use and did not check up on their work. Now, went elsewhere to have Camping World's MISAKE fixed. Have spend the $$$ now, two generators/install for only 3.3 hours of use. AVOID AT ALL COSTS unless to want to have to pay a second time to fix Camping World's mistakes. 8-3-22 - Update - Received a phone call Tuesday evening stating I will receive a call Wednesday morning from the appropriate Camping World customer service staff.. I did receive a phone call and they stated they have NO RESPONSIBILITY regarding their egregious install of an Onan propane generator. The generator was mounted on top of a 1/4 inch plywood plank with NO way for the hot air to vent. When I saw the old generator, all the plastic parts under to cover were completed melted and dripped into the motor etc.... and they claim they are not at fault and NOT RESPONSIBLE. Attached are pictures showing camping world install, and correct install I just had completed by reputable generator company 8-17-22 - UPDATE - All parties - Draper and corporate are stating they will do NOTHING to address the shameful, deplorable, egregious, flagrantly bad install of a brand new generator shipped from the factory to Camping World for their "supposed" expert RV technicians to install. read more

I will never deal with Camping world. We had a new fridge put in our motorhome. It was mounted straight. Their excuse was the shelf wasn't straight. How come the old fridge was straight. Then they dented up the front fridge door. Not a few dents, but all over. Then it wouldn't run. After wasting gas and return it 3xs they finally fixed it so it would run. They said they would replace the door. That didn't happen. Their excuse was the company wouldn't replace it. So why didn't Camping world replace it. Their installer messed up my fridge...I AM NOT HAPPY!!!! read more

For a first time RV shopper, I felt comforted that I was in the right place and was given honest feedback about purchasing/maintenance of an RV. I did have a hard time getting in contact about financial matters after being told I would receive a call. However I am understanding that it's a busy time. Dallin was a big help and a diamond in the rough type of salesman. Didn't feel pushy or obnoxious about selling. Highly recommend him. Later down the road I plan to come better equipped to purchase my new trailer. read more

I took my 5 year old travel trailer in for some annual service. I had pre-pictures of everything except for the roof. That was a mistake. Upon picking up the trailer and arrival at home I climbed up on the roof and discovered that my trailer now had extensive bubbling at the front of the trailer where there had been none before. I called and left a message for Dan. He didn't call back. Ever. After a few days I called and asked to speak to whoever is above Dan in the food chain and spoke to Tina. She agreed to have me send pictures of the area of concern and she would show the manager. After sending it and getting no response I texted Tina again a couple days later who confirmed she was waiting on a response from the service manager. After waiting a couple more days and getting nothing, I posted the video and questioned if it looks right to camping world's social media pages (instagram and twitter). Within 45 minutes I had a call from the service manager in Draper (Kerry I believe). He was concerned that I "made a claim with corporate." After getting nowhere with the folks in the service department what else would you suggest? You expect someone to just say "thank you for letting me give you $1500 for a roof job that I believe you damaged?" Ultimately he looked at the videos I sent (and claimed he never received them from Tina). He determined that 1) they didn't cause the bubbling and 2) the bubbling is normal. I am not experienced enough in rubber roofs to know, so he may be correct. But the lack of communication and concern by his service team will make it easy to not recommend their team to anyone and everyone. Two days ago I spent an hour or two at Camping World, Draper Utah with salesperson Craig and sales manager Jimmy-----and they could not possibly have been nicer. I have made an offer on a beautiful 5th Wheel and expect to finish the deal very shortly. I am completely impressed by these guys. I have bought 5 or 6 different RV's in the past 25 years and have never been particularly impressed (or even worse). I expected more of the same. However, this was totally different......I cannot say enough about what a superior experience working with the these guys has been.....no pressure, and it seems they have made every effort to be fair, helpful and to be accommodating. I am truly impressed in the best possible ways. read more
