Within a couple weeks, we hauled two RZR's up to his shop and they posted them online and came back with a quote on how much they'll be able to sell them for and take care of the payoff with the bank. In addition to that they set us up with the same bank to transfer the money we made from the sales towards the new machine payoff. We got on the list early March for the next available RZR and was expecting to get a machine mid April. My husband got a text from Russ saying it was there two weeks later. We just picked it up and will be taking it back so they can add on all the features we want, which they've been more than accommodating to help order the parts and will contact us when it's there to build onto the RZR. A misleading ad about a ski package led me order it. The description was of skis and bindings and…read moreall the pictures showed the bindings mounted on the skis. There was one package price listed. I ordered them as such. I then received a shipping notification for the bindings with a separate price. I called immediately to cancel the order as I knew that having bindings mounted was not cheap. This was not what I budgeted for. I was told that everything was shipped, so the order could not be cancelled, but to call back when I received everything for an adjustment or to return the equipment. Btw, when ordering I was offered a 15% coupon, but then at checkout was told it didn't apply to my order. When I received the order, I checked with local ski shops and $100 was the lowest price I could find for mounting. I spent a half hour on the phone with a polite, understanding customer service rep inquiring about some type of credit. $25 was the offer. I pointed out how the ad was misleading, an offered coupon was not honored, and it would cost them more if I returned everything. I simply wanted at least half of the mounting cost reimbursed. The most frustrating aspect of this customer service interaction was that a supervisor will not get on the phone. The poor rep had to keep going back and forth. When she told me she could escalate the issue to a supervisor, I readily agreed, but she pointed out they would respond by email! THEY WILL NEVER GET ON THE PHONE AND SPEAK WITH SOMEONE!!! Sorry, that's horrible policy and I would discourage anyone from patronizing this business.

Beware when ordering ski boots as part of a package deal…read more Be sure of availability of sizes of ski boots with a package your purchase. I returned my boots and wanted to get the next size up. Since there were none available in my size, I received a refund (based on package pricing (about $80). If I want to get a larger size boot, I need to select another model/brand and pay the regular (non-package deal price), which means will need to spend approximately $200 more for a comparable boot, not including the $44 it cost to ship the first pair back. I do not recommend purchasing boots if you are not absolutely sure of the size you need. When I asked about the return, customer service said "We always recommend to go in and try different boots on before purchasing online". I was never given (nor saw online) this recommendation.

Was referred here by a friend who had used this shop before…read more Super chill rental shop. Employees are always quick to greet you as soon as you walk in. They never seem too busy to help even when they're chatting amongst each other. They get you checked in and ready to go within minutes. They're super patient when it comes to choosing your gear etc. I asked about switching from skis to snowboarding, which they said was no problem at all. I also asked about adding an additional day onto my rental contract, they said no problem - when you return your gear, whatever additional days can be added on at the end. No need for more paperwork or a new contract; Just bring the gear back by 5 pm. This shop has a sister shop right next to the town lift in DT park city. However, this slope side shop is definitely less busy. In fact, they were willing to let us pick up our gear before 2pm whereas the other shop said wait til after 2pm because employees were on lunch break. So we opted to get our gear here, especially since they said they could hold the gear overnight for free, for us to pick up the next day. So we left our skis and poles there for morning pickup. They sized my friend for boots and they adjusted my rental skis to fit my boots. They sized up a helmet for my friend and then they had us try some poles. They recommended shorter poles, which we agreed to. They do not store your helmet or boots at the shop. What's good about the shop is they have cubbies where you can keep your shoes. They don't guarantee your stuff, so it's at your own risk, but I don't think anyone was going to steal my shoes. So i left my shoes there every day when i picked up my skis. They open at 8 and close at 5. The lifts are 9-430 so it works out perfectly. We would show up, get our boots and gear on, grab our skis and go! The shop was good about answering the phone when we called for help - someone had stolen one set of our poles. Of course there is a charge for lost poles, but I thought the charge was well below reason. Again, super chill shop. I never did change to snowboarding; the skis were perfect for the conditions. The shop has many employees. All were nice and helpful. They even let us in on the upcoming weekend events such as Gaper Day and something about a pond party etc. They gave us recommendations of what to do around town too. All in all, a great shop with wonderful employees with a convenient location and good gear. Renting online ahead of time will save you 20%.
