Accidentally bought a trailer from the folks over here what a mistake on my part I was under the impression when you go to big tex direct and buy a trailer they'd stand behind the product that was not the case in my situation they avoid blame each other and direct you in a circle to get anything handled not customer service oriented by any means whatsoever sales staff peddles lies to customers stating their product is built by a more superior manufacturer at a more economical price store manager seems to be the best thing they could find at the time always smoking in front of customers and does not have the ability to listen to the customers Thats Laura dont expect much from her at all. Tom the regional sales manager also has no customer service and wants to peddle inferior products to his customers. El the warranty specialist has no control and cant seem to get the story straight Long end of the story is I bought a trailer last July and it has been sitting unusable unused at their dealership for 8 months fully paid for and has had nothing but problem after problem after problem from day number 1 we dropped it off to get it fixed and rather than doing that they try to hold it hostage so the warranty can expire lol what a class act the games this company plays is unparalleled and completely wild!!! read more

What great service! I had to pick up a ramp for our trailer since our ramp was stolen. I was initially told the ramp could be ordered in and would be here next week. I was going to have to drive back from up north to pick up a ramp. Randy then can along and said and asked a few more questions and was able to get me the ramp before I left the store. I was like, "YES!" Often times people forget there are side stories to each customer which are not heard. Randy was just concerned about me having to return again the following week and accommodated my purchase that day. What he didn't know was that, we were going to need to go get my daughter's car and that wait time would have put us a week behind. What he didn't know was that I was already frustrated because my GPS led me to some place in Saratoga Springs and I would have been here 30 minutes sooner. What he didn't know was that me walking out of that store with the ramp that day determined a course of event over the next few days. So thank you, Randy and team. They held my deposit for over 8 months after I told them the trailer was built wrong. The general manager was rude and insistent he was right instead of solving the problem. There is thinking you are right and then there is finding a way to serve the customer! He decided that his version of the story was fact and thus felt that was more important than listening to his customer and finding solutions instead of excuses. I have had a brake problem with my cargo trailer. I took it to two different auto repair shops and both said it was fixed and both charged me but it was not fixed. When I was finally able to get the trailer into Lone Peak. They repaired the brake issue and had my trailer back to me in two days. Niki helped me at the service desk and Johnathon fixed my brakes. I bought a car hauler from Lone Peak. Randy M provided a wonderful service with the sale. He was knowledgeable, courteous, quick and found us the best deal. This is where the good times stopped. Lone Peak had 3 of these trailers and none of them were ready to go to a customer. One had bad boards, one had a bent axle and one was missing fenders. They ended up finding one fender and cut up one from another trailer. Since I had driven 200 miles to get this trailer I took it with one fender 1 inch lower than the other. The delay finding/getting a saleable trailer caused me to miss a delivery I had bought the trailer for. This cost me an extra $80. On my inspection, the trailer was missing fender bolts on one side, had loose bolts on the other and was missing a dust cap. I see problems with Big Tex quality control and Lone Peak inventory/process control. They also charge $100 shipping. I would look a lot better at other options before buying another trailer. Lone Peak management needs to take a real good look at their problems if they want to provide a good product. Their inefficiencies surely most effect their profit/loss numbers. read more

I bought a big Bubba trailer here a few years ago which has been the best one I've owned. When I had an issue with a hitch mechanism, they were very helpful and responsive to fix the issue. Thank you. I'll be back for a bigger trailer soon. read more

Bought a Utility Trailer from Lone Peak Trailers over the phone (June 2016). I live 200 miles away from American Fork. Also contracted for brakes to be installed on the trailer before I picked it up. When I arrived to pick up the trailer they attempted to hook up a used trailer to my hitch. It was at least a year old and had someone else's license plate on it. No one said a word. I refused the trailer after inspecting it. I demanded and got a full refund. read more

I have never been treated so poorly by any business in my life. After speaking with Haulmark, and the representative from lone peak trailers, I took my trailer to Lone peak for warranty work. I was promised they would take care of everything and have it back to me in a couple of days. It took over two weeks for me to get my trailer back. In the mean time they lost my trailer and claimed not to have it twice. Thank god I kept the paperwork. When the trailer was finally complete, I went over to pick it up at 4:30 in the afternoon. (they close at Five) I was met at the gate by a big, very unkempt "supervisor" who asked what I was doing there. I told her I needed to pickup my trailer. She rolled her eyes and let me in. The experience went downhill from there. When I went inside to get my trailer I was met with a $425.00 bill. I told the desk clerk it was supposed to be under warranty. She shrugged and called over big red, the supervisor I had dealt with before. Big red's response was "I know nothing about this but I'm not going to let this much money just walk out the door." (excellent customer service) All the paper work said " Warranty" on it, I had also left specific instructions not to touch the trailer if they couldn't perform the work under the warranty. Big red proved useless once again and called for the GM. The GM finally stumbled in and said the most fair thing to do was for me to pay for the repairs then work with Haulmark to get reimbursed. Sure, let me do your job for you. He griped and moaned about having to do the leg work and not getting paid as much on a warranty. I reminded him that wasn't my problem and if they didn't want to perform the warranty work they should have been upfront about it. We argued for close to an hour with no resolve. His only argument was, try to see it from my point, I'm out money here. Again, you shouldn't accept work you don't want. The GM finally threw his hands in the air and yelled, "You win!", You wore me down, take your trailer (again, great customer service) I finally got out of there with the deal I originally agreed upon. But not without being made to feel like a nuisance and a thief. I didn't want to "win" I wanted the deal I agreed upon with no hassle. Plain and simple. I'm a fair person and I play by the rules. Had they told me no, I would have gone somewhere else. But I trusted them to keep their word and they didn't. I got out of there as fast as possible, fearing another confrontation. I hooked up my trailer just enough to get it off the yard then stopped a few blocks away to safely secure it to my truck. Avoid lone peak trailers at all cost!! I gave them 1 star because 0 or negative stars were not an option. read more
