For a first time shopper, I really couldn't tell who was another shopper vs an employee, since the employees seemed to give me the cold shoulder, and did not care that I was there to shop. I almost left the store without purchasing anything, and would have just purchased online. #Protip to the owner if you see this: include "smile at customers" as basic training for your staff. For shoppers, purchase online unless you are near the store and want to buy something asap.

This situation has been eating me alive since I left the shop with my dress! I spent around $5,000 on the dress (not including additional fees for expedited shipping), and unfortunately, the final product looked NOTHING like what I originally ordered. Didn't fit me at all. I had been under the impression the entire first appointment that this dress would fit perfectly and was being made to my size, and would need very minimal adjustments. Then I was informed later by Tatum herself that they ordered dresses in "a standard size". We requested a very small neckline adjustment (about 0.5-1 inch higher), but when the dress arrived, the entire top portion had not been extended up it had been moved up. This has left the cups 1 inch above where my boobs actually go. I'm having to wear silicone boobs to fill in that area because of how much baggy it looks on the breasts. The whole dress was a complete disaster. There was a part of the dress that was sewn in incorrectly, and my seamstress had to take apart the whole skirt and re-sew it on in order for it to look normal. I had to spend an additional $600 with a seamstress just to make the dress wearable, and even after those alterations, I'm still not fully satisfied with how it turned out. Which is really disappointing because this dress should be everything and more, especially for the price. I reached out to Tatum respectfully explaining my concerns, but the response I received felt very impersonal and dismissive. It seemed more focused on closing the issue than actually addressing what went wrong or acknowledging the situation. It felt like she was taking all of the things I had said very personally, which is not a good look on a company if you get emotional about someone emailing you about some concerns. Not to mention that when she responds to emails and bad reviews, she uses ChatGPT. For such an important purchase, I expected significantly better quality, communication, and accountability. If I could go back in time, I would NOT come here! Yes, it seems like a very nice dress place but behind the scenes it's not.

Christmas music would've been great, having come here for the first time in the first week of December. Some clothing pieces had no tag/price on it, so I had to ask the gal what price it was. She looked at it and looked up the price and told me. All the same pieces had no price. Another piece of clothing had a green dot on the tag and asked what the green dot was for, and it was from the Black Friday sale that finished last week - and the gal mentioned it needed to be taken off. I saw a yellow/mustard cardigan with stars towards the bottom, but also noticed a huge hole on the left bottom of the cardigan. I've been to Utah Zumiezes at Fashion Place in Murray, Valley Fair in WVC, University in Orem, The Gateway in downtown SLC, Newgate in Ogden, Layton Hills, Cache Valley in Logan, the Park City Outlets store, the Outlets at Traverse Mountain store, The District in South Jordan, and South Town in Sandy. Now I can add the Provo Town Centre to my list. This tells me two things. One, Orange Julius is probably quaking in its boots as King of the Malls. Two, people REALLY like what Zumiez has to offer. I definitely get the snowboard element being we're so close to the mountain resorts. Zumiez has a great collection of boots, shop bindings, kits, tools, and snowboards. I think it really is geared toward the teenage badass: Get your snowboarding gear, and stay for the other awesome shirts, shoes, hoodies, flannels, jackets, sunglasses, jeans, and pants. The boldest part of their fashions (in my opinion) is the significant amount of Vans shoes and apparel. Yes, Zumiez is packed with skateboards and longboards (and the boarding crowd loves Vans), but a lot of the malls with Zumiez stores ALSO have a Vans store. I don't see a lot of redundancy, so I guess the thinking is you can never have enough Vans. As a wearer of their shoes, I tend to agree. So are their differences between stores? They are almost identical in some ways, like having a back area with tons of colorful skateboards and couches for lounging. This Zumeiz seems to be smaller and with a little less merch than in my personal fave (The Gateway). Still, I never met a Zumiez I didn't like. And I'm sure their are some rebellious teens who feel the same way.

I was here on an errand for someone, actually, so I came looking specifically for a long sleeve Patagonia shirt. They had plenty! They do feature a lot of Patagonia, Hippytree, Cotopaxi, and Naturebacks among others, including a few things with their own house brand. It's primarily clothing, and I didn't really look too much into the gear stuff. They had some nice sweatshirts, tees, and long tees. With those brands, you can imagine that they're not giving the stuff away. Long tees were anywhere from $25 to $50. That's about par for the course on the stuff, so not unreasonable so far as comparison shopping goes. I dig the vibe, I dig what they're into. It's a small store so you can pretty much peruse everything and see what they're about in one trip, but with changing inventory you have plenty of reason to come back again.

Definitely has the mountain vibe that compliments the nearby mountain ranges! One of the owners, Amber, was super friendly and helpful and I really loved the selection of clothing and accessories in the store.
