5/5 stars! After a terrible experience at the Jos A Bank in Murray, where no one greeted us or acknowledged us for the 25 minutes we were in there, we decided to try out the Provo location. We were immediately greeted when we walked in the door by Caden, who was extremely helpful and got my finance in the perfect suit within 10 minutes. He was present anytime my fiancé came out of the fitting room with any suggestions and was always there to assist. All in all, fantastic experience and definitely recommend going to Provo over the Murray location. read more

I came here with my fiancé looking for a wedding suit. We went to 3 places - Mr Mac, Jos A Bank, and Men's Wearhouse. This place was the best experience by far!!!!! The woman that helped us was so friendly and spent time with us to find what fit. I would come here again. read more

Best customer service I've had in a while which is the main reason i gave this a 5-stars!!! I came in two different times to basically redesign my formal apparel wardrobe. I was helped by Ivan who patiently put in his best effort (with a real positive attitude at that!) to help me with all my questions despite taking several hours in finding the right clothes he helped me find exactly what i need. I'm not quite sure what to write. As already written, it's really conservative stuff. My father was there for the buy 1, get 3 free. Like someone really needs 4 sport coats at a time. Especially boring dull ones. The first item is really marked up. I mean -- does anyone believe that some of those sport jackets are $800 jackets? I can buy Brooks Brothers and Armani for less. These are not those. So, the question is if these are $200 jackets sold in bulk? Probably. I think. I was given 2 of the 4 as a gift. I don't have much of a reason to wear a sports jacket, unless it goes over my regular casual shirt and jeans. That's a tall order here. In the end, I think I did OK. It will be interesting to see how it lasts. I always wear Brooks Brothers French Cuff Traditional Fit Dress Shits. Even after years of washing, the placket and collars are completely crisp -- even without starch. I noticed the collars of all the employees wearing Jos A Bank shirts were curling a little. That's not cool. Finally. I know the suits, shirts, and sport jackets are using fake "regular" prices to sell the BOGO and similar deals. So, when the bowties are $60 apiece, am I to thing they are Brooks Brothers quality? Are they worth paying premium over Nordstroms? I can't imagine spending a premium here, so I'll go to Nordstroms where I know how the price I pay compares to the quality. In the end, I preferred Jos A Banks when they didn't pimp themselves out to all the deals. These days if I was watching the money for dress clothes, I'd be looking at the deals at Dillards, or similar. I don't make Brooks Brothers money, but by watching the sales, and knowing how much longer they last, I'll spring for them. read more

We were so deceived tonight when we went to Jos A Bank! We asked which suits were on sale for the the buy 1 get 3 free deal and the guy told us that it was everything on the wall. So we spent about 10 minutes to find the suits that we wanted. The whole time we were looking the salesmen was basically trying to get us to leave the store because it closed in 5 minutes. After we brought our suits to the register they tell us that the suit that was $300 is now $850. It's not like those suits are anything above and beyond spectacular. They were maybe worth $150 a pice but the way we were deceived was not acceptable. I will be graduating from the Marriott School of Business and I plan to never buy a suit from Jos A Bank. I would rather be told the truth! Come on now... read more

I will never shop at Jos. A. Bank again. I bought all of my son's missionary clothes here and spent more money thinking the quality would be "nicer" than the quality I would find at Mr. Mac or the missionary mall. He came home a year earlier than anticipated (due to COVID) and BOTH of his suits are falling apart, as well as the hem on all of his slacks are coming undone. SUPER disappointed. In the past two months, i haven't been able to get ahold of anybody in the store, on the online chat and finally got somebody to answer on customer service. They basically told me I'm out of luck. I went to Mr. Mac this time and had to buy everything all over again (because he got reassigned and is heading out on his mission again). The experience at Mr Mac was so much better, the suits come with two pairs of pants and it's all guaranteed for the life of the mission. Please parents, learn from my mistake. Don't buy your missionaries stuff here. read more

I guess i just don't particularly like this business model. The model is that they price all their suits ridiculously high (like $900 high) and then discount everything so you feel like you are getting a good deal. I would say these suite are probably $100 suits. So the idea is that they will say "buy 2 get 1 free!" so instead of spending $900 each, you are getting a $100 dollar suit for $300 dollars each!!!! wow super bargain right? Maybe they will even throw in a $900 dollar coat or something.. You will also need to pay to get any alterations done on any of the suits you buy. I ended up getting a suit here before really looking around much. The suit looks pretty good from the outside but is already aging. There is a tear in the cheep fabric they used in the pockets, and the pants wrinkle easy. Just not a quality suit and you can feel it when you try it on. The customer service however is really good. The staff is nice and helpful. The hem came out on the pants after a week and they fixed it and re-pressed my pants. read more

Super deceptive. We went there for the "buy one, get three free" deal after having previously priced out some suits. Turns out that a suit that normally costs $350 was jacked up to $790 for the sale. Makes no sense to me. And while the suits are quality, they're pretty standard and conservative. I can find suits that are just as quality but more impressive for the same "sale price" elsewhere. read more

Horrible customer service. We were in the store, which only had 2 other customers at the time, for over 20 minutes before even being acknowledged. We knew what we wanted and were okay paying $250 for the "supposedly" $700 suit. It was a decent suit, so the $250 price did not bother us, but the $700 price tag was just silly. But we were rushed out of there so fast that my husband did not even get the opportunity to try on the pants because we told them we were getting the suit altered somewhere else because we needed it in a week. The salesperson assured us that the white shirts were "far superior to Brooks Brothers" and were a "tailored" fit. Once we got home and opened them, they were not "tailored" (they were not even fitted) and the quality of material was mediocre. Then, when we told the salesman what event we needed the suit for, he attempted to "name drop" an executive's name and told us to mention to the executive that we got my husband's suit there to "put us in a good position with him." We already know this particular person well and don't need to put ourselves "in a good position" with him. It was so tacky. For how much Jos. A. Bank claims their suits are worth, their salesmen do not meet the supposed standards you would expect. I felt like I was buying a used car, not a nice, new suit. read more
