Finally got a chance to go here and eat. Everything was on point from the customer service to the food and cleanliness. When I pulled up the lot looked full but I found a spot. Went inside placed my order after going over all the options on the menu. The good thing about this joint is you can order anything on the menu from open to close breakfast or lunch. I love that. I had pancakes with scrambled eggs with cheese (they just gave me folded eggs with cheese and not scrambled) and turkey sausage. I forget my servers name but he was pretty on point too. I was looking for him a few times and couldn't find him but for the most point he was good.

Stacks is a great local diner, the staff is very friendly. There are a lot of routine customers that they greet by name as they walk in. The sausage is fantastic and the orange juice is fresh and a very good price for fresh squeezed. The reason i am not giving 5 stars is the pancakes, to me they are a little too thick, personally i prefer the original pancake house ones more but i know many customers love them. It's a true diner atmosphere. It does get very busy and crowded on the weekends so you definitely have to get there early!

My first visit here. One of the cleanest restaurants I have ever seen! The staff very friendly! My server Veronica was great, helped with suggestions, and checked on me frequently. The food was quick, great, with steam coming off. I had the South of the Border Omelette. I traded my hash browns for grits. I have already recommended Stacks to others, and I would definitely recommend it to you!

Love this place, it reminds me of a diner in NJ. They even have a pork roll egg and cheese on the menu. My last visit is like every other! Great service a lot of seating for the large crowd always there because it's great food!

Another fantastic and delicious experience! The only mistake was that we came on a Sunday around 11am. Surprisingly, the wait for a table was only about 25-30 min. This time I got the bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit and a side of sausage. The biscuit was the star as it was so fluffy and floury. Anything you get here is diner approved so try it all! The servers and staff are super friendly, too.

I ate from this establishment for the first time and must say the food was filling and good. As I got my meal as a "to go" order, I'm not sure what the service would be. I do plan to visit when I'm in the area again. One request I would have, is to scsmble the cheese in the egg. I've never been a fan of the cheese just placed on top but the French toast with the fresh strawberries, bananas, walnuts and whipped cream was delicious.

Went here with friends for lunch. Stacks has a great menu for breakfast and lunch. The staff is attentive, the service is good, and the menu has something for everyone in a comfortable atmosphere. We ordered from the comfort food section; meatloaf, stuffed cabbage, and grilled liver. We liked most all our food and the coffee was good. The beef liver had some gristle and not as tender as expected , wished there were more onions with the recipe, but it was still tasty. Food is plated nicely, good portions, came out hot and prices reasonable. We would return to Stacks again when in the area.

Stacks is always consistent and top notch. Weekends lines out the door. First time for lunch was a huge success...Typically always go corned beef hash and eggs but the steak sandwich with au jus was a game changer. Great staff and place operates like a well oiled machine. Classic diner ambiance.

Biscuits and gravy are a southern staple and rarely have I had any that were really good, except here at Vicious Biscuit. Biscuits are their business. The most important elements are the biscuits and the gravy. Additions are many and varied, but if the basic two items are not both excellent, you will have a disappointing experience. The Vicious biscuit is the size of a hamburger bun. It is soft and there are bits of spice in the dough. These biscuits do not fall apart, but stay together and serve to soak up the wonderful sausage gravy that is poured on top of it. You can order just a biscuit with gravy for $8. And if you are timid, start here. Otherwise, there are add-ons like very good fried chicken, shrimp and grits, ham, pulled smoked pork, crab, bacon, fried shrimp. fried eggs and other combos. Super choices, so take time to study the menu which is extensive. Portions are great, very generous. I had their Vicious ($12). It was their Cheddar jalapeño biscuit, crispy fried chicken, maple sausage gravy, cowboy candy, with maple syrup drizzle. I was hesitant as to the maple syrup, but it is just enough to give accent to the gravy, but not super sweet. Wife had Fried Green 'Maters ($9.50) which were four fried green tomatoes, their signature pimento cheese with a pickled okra garnish. She could not eat it all, so I helped finish off the lone tomato and a bit of the cheese. Very good. Vicious Biscuit is more that a meal, it is an experience, even a journey, through this traditional southern staple, biscuits and gravy. Enjoy the trip. We might see you there.

I'm sorry to say that this was the worst coffee I've ever had. No flavor at all. It tasted like watered down milk. They should probably fix their menu because calling that a cafe con leche was completely misleading. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.

The food is over the moon delicious with plenty of options and reasonable serving sizes. Even with the slightly high price point, it is well worth every penny. And they take allergies SO seriously! Literally went through a bunch of ingredients to find what would and wouldn't be dairy-allergy safe. Atmosphere is fun but cozy, too. 100% recommend! In-depth: Postino has quickly become one of my favorite places in the CLT area after my 10/10 experience here. To start, the food. My word, it's amazing! Everything my friend and I tried was delicious. The bruschetta is 100% worth trying (the spinach artichoke one is my favorite), and the west coaster panini + romaine salad was tasty at every bite. Their wine is also good quality, with a decent-sized portion poured. Allergy safety is a major thing for them, too. Our server (Lee = the best waitress!) and her manager looked through their bread and ingredients for about 30 minutes to confirm what was and wasn't dairy safe (I asked how dairy allergies are handled for when I bring my husband next time). They also had quite a few gluten-free options, too. The manager explained that she wants people to be able to just come in and relax for a few hours without worrying if they'll get sick, which I truly, truly appreciate. Lee shared a similar sentiment, which was amazing. Now price... Yes, it is a *bit* pricey, but it is well worth it. Nothing felt lacking as far as flavor goes, and the allergy safety is a huge thing. This is one of the few places I felt my sandwich and salad were worth every penny, even if it was $17. Also, their rewards program is great. I got a free bruschetta board, and they offer several other perks. Make sure to sign up before or while dining there to get some good deals! In addition to their sincere care for allergy safety, the service is fantastic all around. They do group service, meaning you'll have several servers, and they encourage you to grab anyone if you have questions. This takes the pressure off of waiting for one server to walk by and really helped me relax. And the atmosphere? I could stay there all day! It's a really fun vibe, but the lighting and seating are very cozy. Overall, I've already recommended this place to 5+ people and will be returning soon

We decided to overlook that. We did let the staff know but were told that the only other option was a booster seat which unfortunately our child is not big enough for. Second, my wife and I thought it was just us, but the acoustics are not great. This was exemplified when I heard my wife order a martini, and the waitress ask what kind of tequila. The waitress then brought my wife a margarita. We politely sent the margarita back. Third, we noticed the table next to us ordered a crab dip. My wife and I thought oh that looks good. Why didn't we see that on our menu? We asked the waitress and she said that was from the limited menu. Well our menus did not have the limited menu insert. They both had a dessert menu insert. We asked to see the limited menu and instantly regretted what we had ordered. My wife would have loved to try the lamb pops and I would have ordered the Wagyu beef cheeseburger. We expressed this to our waitress who said we could replace our meals. As we were about to order the food we wanted, our order came out so we reluctantly accepted the original food. When the manager came around, I thought what a great opportunity to let him know of their mistake and perhaps rectify it. As a former server and manager, I would have, at the very least, offered to comp an appetizer, one of our meals, or one of the four drinks my wife ordered Nothing was offered. We received an apology which was nice. For a first visit and for $100+ dollars we spent, we are not sure we'd come back and can't recommend your restaurant. There were many opportunities to make us as the customers feel special especially after all the mixups. The apology and shrugged shoulders left us disappointed.
