This was a pretty decent place to grab some brunch! Our waitress was very helpful and patient with me since I ordered a lot of food. I ordered the Brisket Eggs Benedict, Pancake Flight, and Chicken and Waffles with a side of hash browns and bacon. The eggs benny were pretty good! The yolks were super runny and the flavor was great! The brisket was pretty tender. The Pancake Flight was good too, except the bacon pancakes had pretty much 2 tiny chopped pieces of bacon in them and that's it. The chicken on the Chicken and Waffles was burnt, but only parts of it. I don't know how they managed to only burn part of the chicken but they did. The hashbrowns didn't taste like much and they were crunchy, but that bacon.. that bacon was delicious. It wasn't too wiggly and it wasn't too crunchy. It has such a great, almost smoked, flavor. I'd like to come back and give the chicken and waffles another chance. read more

Came on a Saturday morning around 11:30 AM and was put on a waiting list for about 30-40 min (which is expected for a busy brunch day). Received a text in the estimated time that our table was ready, and we were seated promptly when we arrived. But, waited another 25-30 to receive our food after we ordered. Our waiter Zach was very friendly and attentive, and the cleanliness of the restaurant was impressive as well. I ordered the Avocado toast, with a side of turkey sausage and their sweet potato "hash" (which was just diced up sweet potato and nothing else). The toast itself was okay, but it was pretty thin so it got soggy fairly quick. The avocado mash was very basic with no seasoning, and topped off with cooked spinach, tomato, and choice of cooked eggs (which isn't specified on the menu). The turkey sausage was good and flavorful. The sweet potato "hash" on the other hand was a disappointment and not a "hash" at all, just some diced pieces of sweet potato that they charged $3 for as a side. We also ordered a waffle on the side, but their waffle maker wasn't working today apparently and asked if a stack of pancakes were okay as a substitution, which we were okay with... Until we got the pancakes, which was only a stack of 2, and they were very flat and very cold. Overall, decent brunch spot if you have no where else to go. read more

I tried Stacked today. I was in the area doing a porch pickup otherwise this is out of my driving range. I got the chicken fried chicken, eggs over easy, and home fries. It was great! The eggs were cooked perfectly and they didn't kill the chicken. They could use less breading but it was delicious! The place was packed. A good sign. read more

I didn't enjoy the food. I got blueberry pancakes and it had 5 blueberries in it that was whole. Sounds silly but it looked and tasted like the blueberries were placed in the pancake while it was cooking. The drinks were bland. For the price, the food should be better. Service was 10/10. read more

Good food, great service. I had a breakfast sandwich with scrambled eggs, ham & cheese on wheat, and was not disappointed. Servings were generous, and was well seasoned. Home fries could have been crisper but were delicious none the less. I wish they had a "Sr menu", as I could only eat about half of my meal and was not in position to take the rest home. The chicken and waffle with peach syrup was average, the syrup was very sweet (peaches were gross to eat because of texture) but the chicken was juicy and crispy on the outside. Lite eggs Benedict was exactly as described, good and a lite bite. Unfortunately the biscuits and gravy with sausage was extremely salty we could not eat more than 2 bites. This is the worst place to eat breakfast in Lubbock. I had a "Belgium waffle" that was nothing more than a thin microwaved waffle. When I asked about it I was told, "we got a new waffle maker" with no other excuse. My son ordered medium rare steak with eggs. The steak was well done and leathery. When we told the waitress she said "well, I put it in right." The manager came over and offered to remake it all, but we declined. He said he would "take care of it" and deducted $4 from the bill. Great food and service! Visiting from out of town and went there 2 days in a row...first to meet a friend for lunch, the second time because nothing was open on thanksgiving... Either way I enjoyed both days. I got the pecan crusted chicken.. the chicken was juicy, the gravy perfection! The 2nd day I had the orange glazed chicken. Nicely grilled, light and not too heavy. My husband had the avocado toast and we both had cups of soup. The soup was some type of glorious chicken bisque? I wanted more... When I tell you this place is delicious... it is not a lie. I have become obsessed with Stacked since moving to Lubbock in February. I haven't been able to have an in person experience due to Covid-19, but I anticipate that it is just as good if not better than delivery!! I usually get the pancakes with scrambled eggs, and bacon. The pancakes are sooo good! Melt in your mouth good. the eggs are nice and fluffy with a flavor that I can't even begin to describe. I also request the bacon to be crispy and it comes out perfect! I did try the French toast once and wasn't a huge fan of them, but I'm also not a big fan of French toast from anywhere. I got a cup of joe once but by the time it got to me it wasn't hot, so I didn't get to enjoy it as much. read more

First time TT parent- Stopped in and had a mini pancake flight with chocolate, regular, and bacon pancakes. I added two eggs and chose sausage... Everything was exactly what I was hoping. The chocolate pancakes were very chocolaty and worthy of a return. Lots of butter for the stacked and bacon pancake hit the spot. Family arrived and was placed on a waitting list, the hostess explained a wait of 30 min and took our number to text us. We waited 30min and went back in and the hostess explained she had try to call us and gave our table away. We then asked if we could go back on the wait list yet again. My family and I waited another 30 min, and saw another party that arrived (10min after us being put on the waitting list again) go in and get seated. My family went back in to inquire about our spot, and we were told that they are no longer able to sit any parties because the kitchen was backed up. We inquired as to why the party that was just seated before us was able to do so as they were on the waiting list after us. Unfortunately we were told there was no reason, it was just a mistake. I am only putting this in hope the owner (who has other restaurants) and always maintains an outstanding customer service expectation can ensure his staff is aware of the impact of each interaction. read more

Went to Stacked for a late lunch/breakfast. Had a 10 min wait at 1pm although lots of people were leaving and lots of tables empty. We had to wait for a server to finally see us and take our drink order. The food was good but the all over experience was not. Hostess very poorly dressed exposing way too much and not very friendly. We ate there this morning. They were busy, everyone enjoying a Saturday morning. I tried the monthly special, 2 eggs, hashbrowns (cooked perfectly) and sausage, and added a pancake. My wife, biscuits and gravy. First, the service is awesome! Second, the menu has choices for everyone. Third, the prices are good. I only have 2 real complaints. 1. The first pancake arrived soft/not fully cooked, which they replaced instantly. The new hot pancake was ok. If you like your pancakes on the denser, heavy vanilla flavored, and true cake flavored, Stacked is your place. They are not light, fluffy and savory. 2. The timing of the food was off on our dishes, as we could easily tell what finished first, or was waiting for other "stacks" to finish. By this most of the food was warm, not hot, both our eggs were cold, but warmed by other food on the plate. We will try again, earlier in the morning more than likely. We have both been in the industry and know what it is like to be busy like that. read more

Online the pictures made their food look good but I would confidently say their pancakes are some of the best I've ever had. The place as well is super clean & the staff was really nice. nice place. Great food! they offer gluten free options which include gluten free pancakes! They're so good taste like original pancakes. Not all meals come with sides but you can order them separately. It's affordable I would definitely come again. My only complaints are that there's one single restroom so there was a constant line and the blonde hostess who got our name wasn't very friendly and kind of off putting. We stopped here for breakfast on our way to Roswell and had such a wonderful experience! Not only was our food fantastic (I had an Egg White Omelet and my friend had the Eggs Benedict) but our waitress Chris was outstanding! She was attentive and engaging even though she had a couple other big tables.
