We went there for part of our honeymoon & boy was it worth it! It was our first wine tasting & we were nervous but as soon as we were greeted all of that went away! They went above & beyond to make sure we found a wine we liked. We had so much fun, we decided to stay for their amazing pizza!!! They even gave us some amazing cake in honor of it being our honeymoon. If you're in Branson, you don't want to miss this experience!!!!! St. James Winery, we love you!!! read more

We went for wine tasting, but we thought $15 each for 5 tiny samples of wine with no choice of selection, was a bit steep. We chose instead, to try a glass from the bar menu. Better deal, and the bartender was a kick. It was nice talking to a local. We also tried the charcuterie board. It was excellent! The chutney, sauces, pickles, and dip along with breads, crackers and cheeses were a perfect light dinner for us. Please note: prices are quite a bit higher than the menuS shown on YELP. read more

Decent pizza. Wife had a wine slushy and she liked it. I just had a beer. Service was very slow but only due to the one server who also worked the bar. Not a lot of tables inside and not the best atmosphere but the server was friendly. I would come again if in the area and wanting pizza. read more

All things Meagan were fantastic- the flights and charcuterie board made for the perfect afternoon! She knows her stuff! Thank you for a great afternoon, Meagan! read more

Really enjoyed the wine and pizza we ordered! Service was great and the prices are reasonable. The tasting / dining area has a very cozy lodge ambiance. Thanks for a tasty evening. read more

I had a lovely time at St. James Winery! Came here for a girls day with my bestie! We enjoyed a delicious pizza, the crust was perfect! She also had a Caesar salad that she loved & I snacked on the Spinach & Artichoke Dip. We shared the Molten Chocolate Cake w/ Ice Cream. The wine was amazing, we walked out with the Country Red! For our first time, it was a great experience! We will definitely be back! read more

Today I discovered why I don't buy St. James wines. To be honest, there didn't seem to be a catalyst for my habitual boycott of St. James. Just some ethereal rule engrained into DNA like an eleventh commandment. "Thou shalt not buy St. James wine." But I like to tow the line and ask the really big questions that need to be asked. And also, we like wineries and wine tastings. Under any other circumstances, skimpy pours would never make it onto the daily list of things to be grateful for, but the greediness at St. James winery spared us excess exposure to atrocities like an overly acidic Norton and what was ostensibly a cherry moscato, although the latter summoned suspicions of water with a few drops of coloring. Literally everything we tasted was subpar and anemic at best, fetid at worst. Back to the portion size- granted, "a tasting" is subjective term, however most winery pours are adequate to feel like an exchange of goods and money occurred. We received 5 thimbles of really gross wine for FIFTEEN dollars. We tempted the knowledge of the universe and lost. Never again. read more

St James Winery - They are super proud of the atrocities they commit against grapes at St. James. $15.00 for 5 of these is what they call "a tasting." - Wineries Near Me - Branson, Missouri

Everyone was very friendly. The atmosphere in the tasting room was nice and cozy and Josh was FANTASTIC at serving, was very entertaining and engaging to all the visitors, we had a blast! read more

This review is based on the pizza, which is their main food. They have salads and desserts. The pizza was excellent and the service was good. We ate here in 2018 and this seems like an entirely different restaurant. Completely different menu and feel to it. read more

Solid place very hospitable, will no doubt be back. The service was great, and the wines were fabulous. Looking forward to going again

Terrible customer service. I came here with hubby and our two kids. The place was pretty chill, we waited a good 10 min. At least 2 workers saw us and neither one greeted or tried to help us. If u have kids or a minority, don't bother coming here. We're visiting from CA and St James Winery had been the only bad encounter we've had here in MO. read more

Not a big wine guy but read the reviews on the pizza and it was fantastic !!! Great brick oven pizza and had the Supreme. Service was great even tho we came in just before closing. Meagan made us feel welcome and a nice server. Wish they would put one in Birmingham. read more

Stopped by because this is literally my favorite wine ever. We started by looking around their shop and ended up at their free wine tastings. They allow free wine tasting from open to close, paired with little snacks to compliment the 5 wines from their menu selection. They also have a badass little patio out back with yard and board games for you to use. We loved this place so much that we came back towards the end of our day to hang out on the patio. Our AMAZING waitress, Lorri, brought us a small sample of their wine slush of the day and menus to start. Two people in our party ordered the slushees and the sober driver got a beverage as well. The slushees were amazing, but once they were gone our waitress suggested another signature cocktail. I tried that as well and was not disappointed! We stayed until close and she was so sweet not to kick us out right away. They were offering a deal, buy 2 cocktails get an appetizer for free so we tried the Meatballs and they were so yummy! Thanks you for creating such a cool, inviting atmosphere for us to enjoy and drink some delicious wine! We will definitely be coming back and suggesting to friends. read more

We went to 4 wineries today and this was my favorite. Great selection, unique flavors, cocktails and appetizers. We did a tasting and they give chocolate and crackers during the tasting as well as an off menu bonus pour. I got a wine slushie and we had meatballs and hummus and it was all so flavorful. They offer bottles of wine and cider as well as coolers, dry goods, and other various items in the store. read more

We visited your winery this morning and had a wonderful person, Max, serve us your very tasty wines! He and your wines were wonderful. Then we ate in your very nice restaurant. Angel was a wonderful server for our very tasty pizza! We enjoyed our morning at the winery and we took lots of bottles of wine home to enjoy later! Even when the lights went out for a while, it was a nice romantic lunch!!!! read more

Very good and informative. Only negative is lack of greeting staff. But just go in like it's home and enjoy.

We had a great experience with our wine tasting and dinner. Charly Jo is very knowledgeable with their wine selection and the history of their company. She had a story for every wine selection and was delightful. Darrell was the best waiter we had during our entire trip in Branson. Meagan was a wonderful waitress. Loved the atmosphere and food. Thank you for a great experience.

Walked in for a tasting, left with nine bottles of wine. The 1970 was our favorite! It was a great impromptu spot.

Food was average service was really bad our visit was July 5th 2024. Never going back

Really good wood fired pizza! We got a voucher from the cabins we stayed in and thought about not using it. But it was a rainy Sunday and we decided to order the pizza to go. So glad we did!!! We had pizza left over and brought it home, had it for lunch while doing laundry! Service was great! The guy was worried that it took longer than he told us. But he was great! This place would be great to sit on the patio after wine tasting! So convenient to the Branson area! read more

Very good! We got a voucher to come for a free pizza. Definitely worth it! Wine tasting is free (so says one of the servers) and they have plenty to choose from. If we come back, we'll try the wine tasting part as well. Pizza was good enough for today! They only have small and large pizzas. A small can easily feed 2! read more

My friends and I enjoyed our visit to St. James Winery. When we first got there, we did a wine tasting where we got to choose 5 wines off of their wine list. Each selection was delicious. The experience was made better thanks to our host who sadly I never got his name. He was funny and accommodating for the young one in our group by offering grape juice and chocolate so she could enjoy her experience as well. Their restaurant is on the other side of the wine tasting bar. We shared a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board that had a great mix of various meats and cheese. The only thumbs down I'd give is that one of the girls ordered a hot ham and cheese that looked like it could've used more time on the grill. It just didn't look very appetizing. Overall, this was a great experience and would be willing to do it again on the next visit. If you're looking for something relaxing to do, check this place out. read more

They fit us in for a tasting just after their tasting time closed, the manager herself offered to serve us. The staff was all very friendly, the wines were reasonable in price. However it's the most I have ever paid for a tasting, and I have done many across the country. But the service made it worth while. We purchased a case and got a bottle for free (they have several offers for a case purchase). The tasting does include complementary wine glasses if that is of interest. The ambiance is appropriate for a winery and the staff are proud of where they work and knowledgeable about their wine. I prefer dry reds and my husband sweets, he had a great selection and they don't add sugar. If you like a cab they have wines for you too, I prefer a merlot and theirs was ok. read more

This is one of the best winery experiences I've had. The wine is so good, the food is super fresh, and the staff is great. My entire party bought at least 2 bottles of wine & the host was more than helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Branson. read more

Free wine tasting! Loved their reds and fruit wines. Black Kerry blueberry was really good! Food is exceptional! Beautifully presented! Love their unique farm to table selections. Most rotating items on the menu are favorite family recipes of the staff. Welcoming staff. Plenty of parking. Beautiful setting. Feels like a Tuscan Villa. St James Winery - Second stop on wine tasting Friday! - Wineries Near Me - Branson, Missouri

I went to all the wineries here in Branson, and this one is my absolute favorite. Our wine tender J.C was knowledgeable and friendly, and gave us multiple suggestions about wines to taste based on our preferences, all of which were spot on. Free WiFi at the bar so I could write my reviews without busting through all my data (which my hotel doesn't even offer but that's another review). The wines were all delicious, but my favorites were the velvet oak (a fruit leaning red with a slight oak flavor- so smooth!) And the peach mango blended together- gives a lot of texture to the two wines. The bar offers cocktails mixed with their wines as well as more traditional bar drinks, and food items. They get busy, especially around the holidays, so get there early! read more

Sunday brunch (11 a.m.) was DIVINE! It had such a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. The attention of the wait staff, the planned menu, and presentation was equal to high-end restaurants. The quality of aforementioned was outstanding! Dear locals: put your pre-conceived thoughts of a regional winery aside. We've visited Napa, and this is a strong contender- in your backyard! We chose Chardonnay and found our selections crisp and clean. We tried the hibiscus app, pizza, and ahi tuna. I'm very picky about ahi. It was FRESH. We felt confident to splurge on dessert since our meal exceeded expectations. We were delighted by the mouse and the creme brûlée. We will be back - very soon! read more

I was visiting friends in Missouri and we wanted to go wine tasting. Over the week we went to St James three times and were NEVER disappointed. Sadly, I spent waaaaay too much money there because I bought several bottles each visit! The food is excellent; room for improvement on the menu otherwise this is a five star establishment all the way around. Go to St James; you'll be glad you did. BTW ---killer pizza, order one! And the meatball appetizer! Umm umm good!!! read more

Friendly staff. Good variety, but we did get a glass with red lipstick still on it, and noticed some of the other glasses weren't clean.

This was our second winery visit in the area. Before coming to Branson, I had no idea that there were wineries or vineyards in the area. This winery was nice; lots of great selections. When we arrived we were given a token to go to do a wine tasting. The girl who was leading our tasting was very knowledgeable and asked us questions about what we normally liked to help us find what we would enjoy. If there was a particular wine we chose and there was a special version of it she allowed us to also taste that. We also grabbed a bite to eat here and the food was pretty good! read more

Lance was great, suggested wines together I would never would have tried. We hope to go back and enjoy the pizza.

We picked St. James on a whim and so glad we did! We enjoy wine tastings often, but this one is probably the best I've been too! Lance was knowledgeable, funny, and creative! He listened to what we wanted, adjusted, and even made the pickiest drinker among us happy! We left with a full case to take home! If you are around for the holidays, be sure to check out the cranberry and Lance at St. James! read more

First, I must say that our server, Andrea, was wonderful. The food was only average. And quite expensive. The wine was just ok. But the pours were nice. My husband and I both got flights. He ordered the prime rib and I got the lasagna. We were in Branson for a vacation and hoping for a wonderful meal. The food wasn't exceptional but was fine. We got a free wine glass which was a plus! But for the price, it should have been better. read more
