What a great bakery to stop by in Coolidge Corner. There was constantly people popping in and out…read moreso you can tell it's a crowd favorite. I came here with 2 friends to work from home and we had a great time! I can attest it's a solid spot to WFH. They have one large (more communal) table which is where we sat, as well as a handful for 2 seaters for folks to either sit alone or across from a friend. Clearly a lot of people come here to WFH, but you can't blame them. The WiFi is free and we didn't experience any disruptions, there's great lighting in addition to the natural light from their floor to ceiling glass walls, and the music is so good here. They were playing all 2010s indie, pop, and alternative hits. We all loved it. I ordered a decaf iced latte with Carmel and it was delicious! A bit on the pricey side, but it is what it is. :) My friends got a sandwich and also tried their coffee and really liked it too. We will be back!

They have standard coffee and tea, beverages, but also some fun seasonal drinks and they have non-dairy milk alternatives! All of the bakery items are gorgeous and I don't think you could go wrong with whatever you choose to try. I appreciate that for the bakery items. They also display the allergens on the little cards, which is super convenient for anyone with allergies or restrictions. The service is friendly and there is a surprising amount of seating inside, which is great to take advantage of the natural light from the big windows. There's also some seating outside when the weather is nice.

Wow this place is worth all the hype and the lines. We showed up close to 11 on a Saturday and…read morefaced a long line for the bakery and coffee shop but decided to wait. The lines fortunately moved quickly and we were out of there in 20 min! The pastries are sooooo incredible you absolutely need to try. Our favorites were the Gruyère monkey pull apart bread (similar to the Gruyère croissant but a bit bigger) and we loved it so much we literally dug every piece out from the little cardboard bowl it comes in. A close second was their weekly special the Muhaamura feta croissant which was delectable-- I had never thought of putting Muhaamura in a croissant but damn does it work! It also went so well with the Gruyère it was truly a combo made in heaven. Both are also super light and won't make you feel super heavy after! We also got some sweet options including the chocolate chunk cookie and walnut morning bun which were super solid, but out of the sweet items the olive oil cake was our favorite. It is SUPER dense but truly the perfect dessert to have with tea in the afternoon-- I will definitely think about bringing this next time I'm visiting someone's house! It's not too sweet but flavored so well. Overall this place is soooo worth the wait--- definitely check it out!

Call it a tourist trap if you want, but I loved Mike's Pastry! I visited on a Friday afternoon, and…read morewas surprised it wasn't super full. There was a line, but it moved quickly - we waited about 10 minutes total. We tried several things: pistachio, limoncello, pecan caramel cannoli and the pecan caramel cheesecake. I didn't even think I liked cannoli at all based on a previous experience, but WOW - these changed my perspective. They were sweet without being overwhelming. The cheesecake was delicious as well. Heads up, as other reviews have mentioned, it's cash only. Luckily, my mom is old school and always carries cash with her. I wish I lived in Boston - I'd love to come back to try their other offerings.

I guess I lucked out because when I went (Wednesday, around 3 PM), there was virtually no line. I heard it can get super busy, so beware. This place is cash only, and the service is really straight-to-the-point. I guess they just want people in and out quickly. There's not really anywhere you can sit, so definitely just get what you want and go. The bakery itself is kept very simple and minimal. Sweets are displayed behind the glass, and there are plenty of signs along the wall that display what they have to offer. There were a lot of different goodies, but I noticed that people really only ordered the cannolis. I got a singular chocolate chip cannoli, and I think it really threw the person helping me off that I only got one to try. Pastries are packaged in a nice blue box and securely tied with a long string. The cannoli itself tasted pretty nice, but I wish there were more chocolate chips other than the ones that coated the areas of visible filling. I liked that the shell was crunchy and flaky. I can't say much because this was my first time having a cannoli, so I have no point of comparison. Not sure if I can eat a lot of it in one sitting.
