He kept everything clean and properly aligned, from the soldering work to the P-trap for the brine discharge. The install looks excellent and was done right. As for the Kinetico softener, only time will tell, but based on what I've read, the reviews have been very positive.

I mentioned that my city unfortunately does not allow salt and i would have to go with no salt filtration. Previously we had a soft water system but we had issues with it. We have 7 people in our house with lot's of laundry and showers and the previous system would run out of soft water and we would have to recycle the water manually. This kineitico system has two tanks for ample soft water. The drinking water is a reverse osmosis with filters and does an excellent job with tasty water and does a better job than our previous system. Highly recommended.

This company provides a solution that's straight forward, low / no maintenance (it flushes itself) and will last a good amount of time hopefully. We moved forward with Steve. This means the filters were never actually filtering water from the time the system was installed. Leaving the filters wrapped completely defeats the purpose of the RO system and potentially exposes to untreated water while giving a false sense of safety. This is a serious installation error. Most customers would never think to open the housings to check, so this could easily go unnoticed until time for replacement. I have photo documentation clearly showing the filters still wrapped in plastic inside the housings. And Awni, I know what I am talking about.
