The establishment offers on-street parking directly in front, which is convenient; however, spaces can be limited, so I recommend arriving early to secure a spot. The interior is spacious and well-appointed, and the staff were consistently courteous and professional. I ordered the cinnamon coffee and found it excellent--robust, well-balanced, and flavorful, not diluted as is unfortunately common at some other cafés. The quality and care in preparation were evident. Overall, The KOOKABURRA is a delightful and ethically run café. I ask a guy who works there about the wine I was looking for and instead of saying "I don't know the answer." he gives me the wrong answer. I almost start heading back to downtown to the winery but the traffic was crazy. So I pull over and look up the wine online. The guy should have said, "I don't know." instead of giving me bad information. So I paid for the wine which ended up being $1 more than I was quoted but the guy at the register was also cranky because I was so frustrated with the entire situation of stupid. Well I did calm down but this is the last time I will ever go back there. I would rather go to Walmart which I absolutely dislike and I would never spend a nickel at Broudy's because he could give two tosses about St Augustine except for all the money he will be making. So if I really need alcohol or wine there is a drive in store by the Winn Dixie which is totally out of my way but they might have more intelligent and nicer staff.
