I have been taking my 2002 Honda Accord to Brian and his team for 5 years now and have had nothing but great service. I trust them when they tell me that something needs to be done and never try to up sell me. They appreciate that I have a budget and let me know which items need done now for safety and which ones can be done next time. They are not the quickest when it comes to service, but I attribute this to me always dropping my car off and not really needing it right away. Brian always calls and lets me know if they are running behind or have found something that needs attention. He then gives me the option to go ahead with the fix or wait. Bill Coniam from 25th Street Auto in Phoenix, (another amazing shop by the way) recommend SCC Auto to me when I moved to Gilbert, and I am glad they did! Call up Brain and see for yourself what great customer service looks like! read more

My family and I just moved to Arizona from Washington state. We had a great "home town-small town" mechanic that we trusted and we were a bit concerned moving to a new "big city" that we wouldn't find the same service. Boy, were we wrong. Justin and his crew at the Williams Field SSC were awesome. When I walked in and explained to him our problem and guy was sitting in the waiting room and he said, "You came to the right place". I shrugged it off, and left my car. Boy, was he right. Justin was on the spot with the problem I explained and he followed up with phone calls before proceeding on with the work since there were a few other things that he found. It's nice to have a place you can trust and good people looking out for you (and your vehicles). read more

I purchased a used 2002 Yukon for my son who is turning 16 knowing it needed some work to get it ready for him to drive. I brought the vehicle to SSC in Chandler and had them do a thorough inspection. I received a phone call with a complete breakdown of what needed to be done and what each item would cost. I wasn't presurred to fix it all at once and was given the opportunity to fix each item or the entire list. I had them fix everything and I'm glad I did. They did a great job! I was kept updated with the work they did and the vehicle was ready when they said it would be. The car runs great and it is ready for my son to drive. I really appreciated the professionalism they demonstrated through the entire process. read more

I took my 2004 Suburban to SSC to have a A/C issue looked at. The A/C would start blowing hot air on the drivers side at random times. SSC was able to get my Suburban in the same day I dropped it off and quickly diagnosed the issued and called me with an accurate description of the issue and what it was going to cost to repair it. I was very happy with my experience at SSC and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for honest and affordable auto-repair. George (the owner) and Justin (service manager) are a pleasure to work with and you can sense the pride and integrity they take in their work. I would not take my cars anywhere else. Thanks for reading and have a great day. Todd Owens read more

SSC Auto Repair is a top notch neighborhood service/repair shop. I came in to get my oil changed today and was greeted by a happy and ready staff. I was impressed by the thoroughness, first of all, in that they not only told my I needed my oil changed, but my air filter was scrap and needed a new one. The staff is not pushy like some car places are when trying to push additional products; they tell it like it is and allow you to tell them what you want done. The pesky fan problem in my car got fixed and my ride has never felt smoother! They also have the most fantastic rewards system that allows you to continually save money each successive time you come in! It seems too good to be true! read more

Once again the guys at SSC Auto Repair demonstrated that they are honest, forthright and very proficient. I took our 2003 Trail Blazer in to have the brakes checked and to investigate a "clunking" noise from the engine. Shortly after dropping off the vehicle, Justin called to say that the brakes were fine. They needed nothing. The noise was the water pump, bearings worn. Justin and the guys set about replacing the pump. The key point is, he could have said that the brakes needed to be overhauled, this and that replaced, etc., purposely driving up the bill. Not SSC Auto Repair. I recommend them to all of my friends and colleagues. John Pursell Mesa, AZ read more

My A/C on my 2008 Chevrolet Silverado was supposedly fixed by the dealership where I purchased it about a month and 1/2 ago, but it was performing below standard and such a short period of time. Discount Tire recommended SSC for my A/C repair after I bought some wheels and tires from them. I was very impressed with my visit this morning to fix my A/C. They were very professional and forthright with their discussions about my truck with me. In the end, I paid much less than I did at my dealership and the results of my visit were far more superior as well. Thank you SSC. read more

After a discounted oil change the hubcaps were not put back on correctly. The valve stem relief on the cap was not aligned with the valve stem so the caps not get seated properly and one came off before I noticed their mistake. This is my gf's vehicle and it does not get driven very much; I did not notice they left the bolts to the air box off when they "inspected the air filter" and now they are lost. It's costing us way more to fix these mistakes than was saved with their discount. You get what you pay for. I'll service it myself for her from now on. read more

I dropped off my 2001 Jeep Wrangler (246,000 miles) and asked the guys to go thru the front end and replace anything which was worn..ball joints / bushings / idler arms, etc. Essentially gave them a blank check. Then my wife and I went on vacation. Upon return, Wayne, the manager, said they inspected all of the joints, arms, bushings and the only thing wrong was a leaking and worn steering damper. They could have said the vehicle needed this and that and drove up the bill. That is not who they are. My go-to shop. John read more

Veteran friendly, offered a free oil change including oil and filter for ALL veterans in May. No hidden costs or charges! We decided to have some brake and front end work done after the oil change and the pricing was very fair and the Service Manager, Brian was top notch in explaining everything and the rest of the staff are super friendly and always checking on the customers to see if they need anything. You can count on SSC to do the job right and go the extra mile to make sure you get great service! read more

We have been taking both vehicles to SSC for 6 years. They stand behind their service, which has been something not found at all dealer/fix it shops around. We have found at all times that they are honest, give the whole picture & then I decide what I feel is important to get done & when. I know the job will be done right the first time. I have never felt taken like I have at other facilities around. I have recommended this facility to others, who have stated the same feeling & experience. read more

Thank you for being honest and standing behind your work. I can't tell you how much its appreciated it. Its refreshing to know that there are companies out there with people you can trust. The crew at SSC (Justin is one of them) have always taken the time to explain the issues and give you all the options. And in the event that there's ever anything wrong they will work hard to make it right. As a customer that's all you ever want. Keep up the great job! read more

George and the Team at SSC Auto Repair have taken care of our vehicles for the last 7+ years. It is hard to find a mechanic that you can trust to be straightforward and know that you are not being taken advantage of. The team puts themselves in the position of the customer and works to find a reasonable solution. This shop has always acted with honesty and integrity. I recommend them to family and friends in the area. read more

From the very first day that I had an oil change, I had heard some very great comments about the service here by some long time customers. Since then, I have been taking both of our cars for service there and Justin and his staff have taken very good care of us. We've had some major work done as well as the oil changes and feel we can trust SSC with our vehicles. Trust is a big item with us and we feel we can trust SSC. read more

I was new to the Gilbert area and had already had a bad experience with another garage/company when I decided to go to SSC Auto. I was immediately made to feel welcomed and treated like an old friend. The staff was and continues to be awesome and the work is reliable and trustworthy. I will continue to take my car to SSC Auto and definitely continue to recommend them to my friends! THANKS SSC AUTO! read more

Stopped by the Chandler facility this a.m., was called with a fixed price to fix my A/C and cruise-control problems, and two hours after my authorization, my pick-up truck was ready to go. The costs were more than fair, the staff courteous, and the timing was very accomodating. I will definitely return when I next need their service. Mine was a very positive expeience with SSC. read more
