This is my third trip to this location. They are more interested in talking to customers on the phone than dealing with customers waiting in line. My husband brought his vehicle into this location on 4/9/2025 with an issue with his rear passenger side tire and wheel. The assistant manager, David, suggested he purchase not only the damaged tire but also a second so the car would be properly balanced. My husband initially went off David's suggestion but then decided on purchasing two more for the front tires. After being installed, my husband left the store on his way home and was about 5 miles from the store when he experienced a complete flat on the front passenger tire. He called back and David informed my husband " he was sorry to hear that" and suggested he go to another store closer. After making it to the Discount Tire at Gilbert and Riggs, the store manager, Serjio, informed my husband the last store had not properly installed the valve which led to the flat. He also informed my husband that the lug nut had been over tightened during installation and they had to break it off to correct what the first store failed at. My husband was also told he would need to make an appointment at Brake Masters to fix the wheel's lug nut. All that money spent only to end up two steps behind where he started. Awful work and bad management for having people doing poor work at store #44. I hope this review is actually seen by Discount Tire, just so they know exactly how people are NOT doing their jobs. I called multiple places, even bought tires elsewhere, only to find out they wouldn't install them -- which was incredibly frustrating. Then I called Discount Tire, and right away, a cheerful and helpful voice answered -- Jon. As soon as I explained my situation, Jon told me he had my tire size in stock and could get me in immediately if I arrived within 30 minutes. I drove straight over, and true to his word, he got me in right away and had everything completed within about an hour. At the end of the day, it's all about customer service -- and Jon absolutely delivered. This Discount Tire isn't even the closest one to me (I drove 40 minutes, even though there's another location just 10 minutes away), but it was well worth the drive. I had an appointment for 5:00 PM to get a nail removed and fixed. My tires have plenty of meat left on them. I drive a 2014 jeep wrangler. The attendant was cordial greeting me. I told him what I had and he said, "Let's go look at it". He looked at the nail. It was in the middle of the tire treat. Not on the side or anything. He right away told me he could not fix the tire that I needed to buy new tires. He was pushing the new tires. I told him I did not want to get new tires yet. He said he could not fix the tire. I told him fine and left the store. I went to Big O tire off Williams Field road. They fixed the nail hole without questions. I am to assume that the employees at Discount tire get paid with Commissions. That is fine but next time listen to the customer. You truly lost a customer for life. read more

I went to discount tire's to get the air checked on my tires, I was told that I needed all new tires. After calling around and discount tires price matching I left my are with them. Saturday the job was complete and I was unable to pick up the car. I went there today (Sunday morning) and my rims were scratch on the flat part of the rim, it looked like they used a tool to pry my rims off and destroyed one of them completely. My rims were in almost perfect condition because I take very good car of my car. I intentionally ended up leaving my car at discount until Monday morning so that they couldn't blame me for doing that to my rims. Moral of my story is I clearly didn't end up saving any money now if I have to take care of repairing my rims. I should have just gone back to Big O tires who has also replaced tires for me before and left my rims in the condition they were in when I took my car to them. Title: Spent $800 on Tires--Still Treated Like I Don't Matter Review: I'm beyond frustrated with this Discount Tire location. After spending nearly $800 on a full set of tires, I expect at least basic respect for my property; but that seems to be too much to ask. This is now the third time they've either removed my chrome tire valve caps and replaced them with cheap plastic junk or just left them off altogether. Not once has anyone asked for permission to swap them, nor have they offered to replace what they took. I've spoken to the management twice about this exact issue, making it clear that while it may seem like a small thing to them, it matters; a lot! especially when I'm trusting them with my vehicle. I even told them directly: "This kind of thing shouldn't be happening at all, let alone repeatedly." Clearly, the message didn't get through. This isn't just about valve caps! it's about a lack of care, accountability, and professionalism. Two months ago it was all four, (two dollar tip and BK coupons). A week ago it was 42 (5 dollar tip, and I asked the supervisor air guy if they were outback on = "yes"). I was looking for a place to check on my tires before I had to make a 6 hour drive and I came early on a weekend - a Saturday and I really needed to check on my tires because I didn't have a lot of time left. I came and they checked my tires and put air inside my tires super fast! I didn't realize that there was a line outside where they just pump air into your tires for free! I have a fleet account and brought In a loose tire and wheel to have a nail repaired. It was 5:15 when I dropped it off and it is now 6:18 and still haven't seen my tire. They are closing town shop and cleaning the office before I got my tire. I just got an associate and asked where my tire was since it's almost 6:30, and he said oh yeah, it's been sitting in back! They are a complete waste of time for a business owner ! Isn't that the whole reason for a fleet account? I have the person helping me at the counter $20 to tip the person fixing my tire, and instead it was forgotten about and I had to grab someone else to help me out! I tip the attendant every single time I'm there, but for some reason I always seem to have to ask where my stuff is at. They have a hard time changing the loose flat repair I bring in after tipping them, why would I bring any of my dually diesel pickup trucks in for sets of 6 new tires! Hardly leave review but this one really disappointed me. Came in for new tires just a few weeks ago and installation of wipers, paid for cert. Recently one of the tires blew out and went in to replace. Sad to know that I had to pay for a new cert, additionally they did not actually installed my wipers from last time. After service they asked where the hub if my tire was and I told them it was in the trunk where the spare tire would be as I made sure to keep things organized. They said they could not find it and even tried to look there. I ended up removing the spare tire and found the hun sitting right there. I had to write a review on my stop here yesterday. Typically Discount Tire is one of the places where you get outstanding customer service no matter what time you come into the shop. Yesterday I pulled into the shop about 10 minutes before they closed. I was going to have my tire pressure checked. As I pulled in I saw the person working the tire check station walking into the shop. I sat there for about 20 or 30 seconds waiting to see if anybody would walk towards my car. Nobody did. I know that the person working the tire check saw me sitting there. He made absolutely no effort at all to acknowledge the fact that I was there. I would have been okay if he would have put his finger in the air and said one minute I'll be over there. I would have been okay if he would have just said we closed that for the night sorry. He did not do anything. Like he was just expecting me to drive away. My honest feedback is I would consider going to any number of the other Discount Tire locations in the vicinity of that one. Went in for a free air check after my "check tire pressure" light had been on for a few weeks. Initially thought it was just a faulty sensor because the last time I had them filled, that light never went away. During today's visit, the person at the air check mentioned one tire was at 18psi which would indicate a nail or some type of problem. Guy was not only doing his job but he was genuinely trying to help out by letting me know the severity of only one tire being that low. That convinced me to make an appointment, and took it back in a couple of hours later. And sure enough, the tire had a nail in it. They patched it up in under an hour. Didn't get the person's name but whoever was at the air check at 11am today, I appreciate you. This was all free by the way. Figured the least I could do was leave the shop a review. I declined, knowing I didn't need new ones, and he shook his head laughing and walked away saying "okay." It felt very unprofessional and dismissive. I understand trying to upsell, but the audacity to laugh after I said no twice? Asking if I'm sure I understand what a lug nut is/does? 2 bad experiences this month. First went in for a roatation. They rotated tires and then stripped out a lug which I had to go and get fixed for $147.00, they claimed it was faulty. I am sure they did not torque the lug nuts correctly as I found a second one loose in the hub. THEN they charged me $25.00 for the rotation besides as 1 tire was not bought from them. It was an exchange as I had a flat in the middle of New Mexico, no Discount Tire was available so I had to buy a new tire instead of exchange under road hazard coverage I had. When I got back home, I went to Discount and since I did not have the tire they would not cover it. The picture and invoice for the new tire was not sufficient. Then, later in the week I bouight 4 new tires. Had to wait 3 hours for install. Things happen I get it but.......then I had to return 3 days later for work on them. Last year on another car the tires were not satisfactory. Went back and they "upgraded" my wife costing another $900.00. We have 4 cars with Discount Tire. This particular store has seen a tremendous downturn in value, service, and integrity. I like Discount Tire however buyer beware. There are other stores available. read more

I recently had 2 tires that needed to be replaced and the assist Conner was the utmost professional gentleman that I have seen take his job seriously in a long time not only did he pro rate my tire and get me a discounted price on what I was originally quoted but even said that I didn't need to replace the back tires right now and I could wait a few thousands more miles and that they were still good . Went to Discount Count Tires today for a tire patch. Another shop was unable to patch. I was able to make a same day appointment. The location was very busy, line was out the door.
