We've been using Discount Tire for years, both in Arizona and California, for everything from new tire purchases to routine rotation and balancing--and they've consistently delivered great service. This review is for our most recent visit, which was no exception. Mason and Kaleb were outstanding. They made the entire process easy and stress-free from start to finish. I was able to schedule an appointment without any hassle, and they had me in and out in under an hour, which I really appreciated. As always, the rotation and balance were free since I purchased my tires through them, and that kind of customer care really makes a difference. They went out of their way to make me feel valued as a customer. If you're in need of new tires, air, or a rotation, I highly recommend stopping by this location--you'll be in good hands read more

This is THE SLOWEST discount tire ever. Air lines are always 45+ min affairs regardless of how many cars there are. There are employees just chilling half the time around the garage instead of actively working. Even when dropping your car off for an appointment. You will not see it til the next day. Avoid this place. read more

I was at greenfield and baseline location practically all day today for my car and there was no communication there and a manager who was a girl didn't catch her name but she was very rude and unprofessional giving me attitude for there screw up when I was there all day waiting for my car trying to charge me and she accused me for saying I messed up a tire which I didn't at all and gave me more attitude I wanna report her to cooperate or fire her I was very unplease with her the rest crew who worked on my car awesome so upset read more

This place has always been great. Helpful and nice guys. Only reason for the missing star is the extremely slow "air" line. It can't take almost 10 minutes to check someone's air. So annoying. read more

This is a first for me. This shop is full of guys ready to help everyone who comes through the door. They close at 5pm and kept helping past that. I just saw a guy come in while I was waiting for my vehicle to be done at 5:30 and needed a repair. They said no problem they will get it done today. I also have to say I called at 4:15 and said I found a screw in my tire and could come in Monday to get it fixed....he said come in right now so I could be safe. This location now has my business. read more

Cyris was Legit!!! 10/10 service everyone was so nice and helpful. information was great!

Was.told cone in in for a tire rotation. Went in they told me its going to be 3 hours. Now there saying another 45 minutes.

Amazing experience at the Discount Tire on Greenfield & Baseline in Mesa! I first called and spoke with Madison, who took the time to explain several tire options at different price points. He was super knowledgeable, honest about the differences in quality and mileage, and never pushed me toward the most expensive option. I really appreciated that. When I came into the store, Izaiah took great care of me. He quickly found a nail in one of my tires and confirmed it was repairable. During the air check, he and the team also noticed my front two tires needed to be replaced, but thankfully they were able to work it out under warranty and even refunded some money back to me. They got me in right away, the wait was very reasonable, and I left with three brand new tires (plus one repaired), all at an affordable out-the-door price. I was also able to use Affirm for 0% interest financing for three months, which was a huge help. Big shout-out to Madison, Izaiah, and the entire team for making this such a smooth and stress-free experience. A+++ read more

I've been using Discount Tires since 1983. I made an appt. for 11.00. Had to wait 15 minutes to even be acknowledged. As I headed for the door to leave, that finally got their attention. They checked me in and said it would be done at noon. I sat there and watched as three other people walked out. I saw a total of 5 salesman but never more than two on the floor at one time. The line to get help was at times eight deep. I finally had enough and walked out. They acknowledged me leaving, but never even apologized. Wouldn't know customer service if it bit them on the butt. read more

believe his name was Josh who assisted me that day, and his customer service was extremely genuine, not just with me, but with other customers I watched him help as well. A couple of months ago, I visited the Val Vista & Ray location and unfortunately had a frustrating experience. I had a 1 PM appointment and ended up sitting there for 90 minutes without my car ever being looked at. I completely understand that delays can happen, but appointments shouldn't be treated like walk-ins. I expected to be out of there by the 90-minute mark. I then had to stand in line for another 20 minutes just to cancel and get my keys back, which added to the frustration. This past weekend, I took my car to the Greenfield & Baseline location, and the experience was completely different. Josh was efficient, attentive, and very aware of the growing line. At one point he proactively asked if anyone was simply picking up, then even apologized to me for doing so, which I told him I actually appreciated because it showed he was looking out for everyone. Most importantly, there was a genuine desire to help me with my situation rather than any pushy salesman vibe. That level of customer care is exactly what keeps customers loyal and not even looking at competitor tire shops, no matter what promotions they're running. read more

I have bought tires for both my car and truck from Discount Tire. Yesterday, May 4th I picked up a piece of metal in my tire on the freeway and was loosing air. I pulled into Discount Tire in Mesa on Power Rd. at about noon. They told me that they would have a new tire put on but I would be in there for 4 hours. I did get my tire changes and was out of the tire shop at 4:15pm. They should have a bay just for walk-ins with problems such as mine. a 4 hours wait is unacceptable. read more

It took 1/2 hour to just get air in my tires. When the line is long they should open up 2 bays for that.

I made an appointment to have a tire leak looked at. I have been waiting for an hour and they have not even started on it. It appears that discount tires has lost their quality service! read more

Mason did a great job answering all of my questions came in with a nail in my tire and had to get it repaired. Wait time was kind of long, but I did not have an appointment and I walked into a full waiting room. read more

I've been a Discount Tore customer for many years and for good reasons! They are a solid company, have a great product and their customer service is consistently amazing! They make it easy to do business by having online appointments, I can shop for tires online or I can wait and get the expertise of a rep at the store (I usually choose the later). I just went there today and met with Jon, who has helped me in the past. He was on point (as usual) and helped me pick out the right tires, showed me the comparison and gave a personal recommendation based off my driving habits for this vehicle. They had me in and out, two new tires, in under 30 minutes! I know that's not always the case but I'm super impressed today and had to share my great experience. I've been to this particular Discount Tire at least four times and each time has been a great experience! I've also visited several other Discount Tires in the Valley and I always always have a great visit, no matter the reason for my visit. Great job, Jon, for being amazing today! I appreciate your help! See you next time. read more

Why does it take so long just to put air in the tires. 5 cars in line I was there over an hour!! Absolute crap

Senior assistant manager Madison is excellent at his job and took great care of every customer that came in. Kaleb as well worked diligently and thoroughly to help me out with my car. All around God bless these two as they went above and beyond read more

Came to get a shredded tire replaced, and they were fast and friendly, with a fantastic warranty policy. I just had that tire and another replaced two months ago for worn tread, so this new tire replacement only cost the price of continued warranty coverage, rather than another $150+! Thanks Kaleb & co. read more

I do not know what location you are in but the your Discount Tires on Power Rd has outstanding customer service. They explained all the details to me as I filled out my order and apt. for Tires. They were patient and knowledgeable. Vincent. Melissa and Jacob are great agents. I have been with Dict. Tires for decades and will continue with them. Thank you!! Carol Hartman read more

I've been going to the Discount Tire store at Greenfield and baseline for years. I took a chance buying a set of house brand all terrain tires for my truck and I've been pleased with the performance after 25k miles. As long as you make an appointment, the service times are as promised once you're in the door. I've read other negative reviews about people's cars not getting in the bay upon arrival and that's just not realistic! The crew here is excellent and efficient. If you complain about the tire pressure check line waits, perhaps you should learn this simple task so you can do it yourself? read more

These guys were great!! I came in as a walk in this morning with a flat tire and they were so patient with me and teaching me why I needed new tires and which specific ones are the best for my car.. I knew I needed new tires, but had no idea what to do, I am very thankful for Logan and Jon's friendliness and willingness to meet me half way with my lack of knowledge. I will come back and work with Logan and Jon again and again!! read more

I scheduled my tire rotation online a day before, I was greeted promptly and the employee inspected my car with me. I was not upsold any services and I got exactly what I came for. My rotation took about 30 minutes from walking through the door till I left and I was happy! I am loyal Discount Tire girlie! read more

I came in for new tires in September. I was looking for the brand I already had because they lasted well and provided a very smooth ride. They were not in stock but could be ordered. The salesperson, Madison (I think), recommended another brand that was offering a coupon discount. I asked him 2 or 3 times if I would be able to tell the difference between them and the ones I had. He said "there would be no difference". After a couple months driving on them I can definitely say that these are not nearly as good. I had a much smoother ride with the ones I had. I admitted that I know next to nothing about tires. So when I go to a professional and solicit advice, I expect good, honest information. I don't think what I expected is what I got and it comes to mind every time I drive. As for the work required in mounting the tires and putting them on, that was apparently done well and was done in reasonable time. read more

I have been coming here since I started driving (14+ years ago). They've serviced my cars throughout the years and have always been friendly and honest. I just came here to get my tires rotated, but was informed my tires were low tread and old (cracking, breaking in the rubber). Brent was friendly, professional, and helpful. He didn't try to upsell me on my tires and found me ones that would work well with my existing tires. He was also patient as I made a decision. The service is always great here, they've helped me, my parents, and now my husband throughout the years. We continue to go back because of the continued good service. It's also a nice benefit to be able to get air put in my tires and tread checks throughout the year. read more

Such great staff and management! Kaleb is awesome and genuinely provides sincere service. Very thorough and transparent staff and friendly team! They replaced all 4 of my tires and sensors in 45 minutes 2 hours before closing. Best service experience I've had in a long time. read more

Jacob was so kind! I had to stop in real fast just for my tire pressure. He was so nice. Repair men can often be condescending or crude and he was neither. Very helpful. Well done Jacob! read more

I had purchased tires in March from this location and came back with an appointment just this past week to get the tires rotated. I only bought two tires because two of my tires were good. I waited an hour and a half after booking my appointment to get my tires done, and when I got my car, I realized that only the passenger side was rotated. After an hour and a half they only rotated one side of my car. The driver side was not rotated and the only reason I know this is because I had two different tires on the back of my car. Now if all four tires were the same I would've never known that my tires were not rotated. I think this is dishonest and a safety hazard so if you go to this location for a rotation, please make sure that they are actually rotating your tires. read more

The only thing I can't stand about Discount Tire is how these poor guys are forced to wear long sleeve button down shirts...in Arizona....in 110 degrees. Hey Discount Management....be decent human beings and let these people wear short sleeve shirts. Other than that, great service, as always. read more

I have been coming to this location since it opened and the current management and employee staff they have is the worst that I have seen at this location. I used to give 5 star ratings and now I can only give a 1 star rating I would recommend going to other discount tire stores as this manager does not seem to be managing very well and probably needs to be moved either to a different location or retrained. There is a management problem here. read more

Discount Tire - 13 cars in line for air pressure check - very poor managing the line - Tires Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Super annoyed because I dropped my tire off to get the hole patched. They said the tire was definitely small enough to patch and it would only take an hour or two. Five hours later they say they can't patch it and I need to buy a new tire (they only care abt money). Anyways I show up and they had taken the tire apart and refused to put it back together, so now I have back shit all over my car because they made me put the tire and wheel separate in my car. Anyways take your stuff to a local shop, they'll do you much better than this awful franchise!!! PS: Brandon or Brayden (guy with a mustache and glasses) totally sucks!!!! read more

The guys here are always SO helpful! I always come here to get my air checked on my tires to make sure all is good and this time I was getting a notification on my dash that one of my tires was low. I got them filled and a few days later that same notification came on. When I told the attendant that he checked it out and saw a nail! SO he explained to me that they repair that issue for free! That is awesome! He also explained to me how much easier on me it would be if I set an appointment to get it done since they were SO busy at that moment ,which I did Super awesome customer service! If the tires to purchase were less expensive id give a 5 star ! read more

They stayed late for an emergency, and agreed to handle non emergency issues as well just because! Exceptional!

Can't believe it takes 2 hours to repair a tire. I have no choice to come here. I will never come here for my personal vehicle. They are quick to sell you new tires and put them on. But slow as heck to get any repair done. read more

Terrible wait times and customers were waiting to be helped while the manager seemed more interested in micromanaging and standing around with his hands in his pockets rather than help customers or making sure cars aren't waiting a hour to be serviced. read more

They're always kind, fantastic service! Appreciate that I always have a positive experience here.

This company/location has been slowly going down hill. Just put new tires/rims on my 4 Runner. Bought Matt black rims. They put shiny balancing squares that really did not look good with these rims. They said the black ones needed to be special ordered. It would seem to me this should be automatic when you buy the rims from them that they have the balancing weights to match. Well my brand new car drove like crap. Had to bring back to have their balancing checked. Turned out three of the tires were not balanced correctly. They corrected it and now the car steering wheel is not shimmering back and forth. As if it wasn't enough I had to spend my time bringing it back they left the old adhesive on the rims where they moved the weights. It would have been easier for them to remove......now I need to stick my fingers between the spokes to try and remove. The adhesive is white and my rims are mat black so this shows up like a sore thumb. Between issues like missing lug nuts in the past to special tools for spares not being put back I'm not impressed. Front end employees are always nice and polite but there is a quality control problem in the back. read more

Had to replace tires during Corona-Quarantine 2020. Discount has the best prices and are great to work with. The brave folks at the Greenfield and Baseline location were friendly, fast and did a great job. Called Kyle this morning and by noon, my tires were in and ready to install. Plus, due to social distancing, I got to see the tires being mounted and installed from the front seat of my truck. It was a pretty neat experience. Thanks again to the team at Discount! read more

Discount Tire - Tires Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

Discount Tire is a nationwide independent tire and wheel retailer and is the largest independent retailer headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. I purchased high end Pirelli tires from America's Tire in California and the warranty was honored in Arizona at Discount Tire which is the trade name in most states other than California. The tires performed admirably and the only reason I needed a replacement was due to a nail in the tire that could not be patched. A replacement tire was ordered and arrived the following day. Brent Struckmeyer is the store manager and runs a seamless operation that is customer service oriented and ensures immediate and efficient service and counsel for all tire and wheel needs. The showroom and waiting area are immaculately maintained, very cool in the Arizona heat, with comfortable seating areas. The store is very busy and has a constant stream of incoming customers who are attended to promptly and given a reasonable timeframe for the completion of the work. This kind of efficient operation could only be secured with vigilant, competent, and professional oversight of the manager, Brent Struckmeyer. My service request posted a challenge as the key for the wheel locks could not be located and a polite request was made if the trunk where the spare was held could be checked for the missing key which I approved of course. Trevor was the professional and courteous technician who changed out my tire with the new one and did and amazing and efficient job. Trevor and Zach are house technicians who not only provide outstanding customer service, but in addition are talented and experienced technicians doing outstanding work. It is very nice to see the nicely pressed uniforms and neat appearance on all employees, as Trevor and Zach, and the opportunity for employees to advance to higher management positions, as Trevor and Zach are surely to do given their superior workmanship and performance. I highly recommend this particular location for all tire and wheel needs. I will surely return again and refer my family and friends to this location. read more

I have been coming to this Discount Tire since I moved to Arizona in 2005. The guys that work here are tremendously caring and genuinely want to make sure you are save on the road. I drive to Texas often and i like to make sure my tires are checked I hit the road. They never want to accept a tip and are always very quick. When I need my tires replaced I come here, because not only are they amazing but also they price match. So why not get the best customer service and the best price.
