Amazing experience at the Discount Tire on Greenfield & Baseline in Mesa! I first called and spoke with Madison, who took the time to explain several tire options at different price points. He was super knowledgeable, honest about the differences in quality and mileage, and never pushed me toward the most expensive option. I really appreciated that. When I came into the store, Izaiah took great care of me. He quickly found a nail in one of my tires and confirmed it was repairable. During the air check, he and the team also noticed my front two tires needed to be replaced, but thankfully they were able to work it out under warranty and even refunded some money back to me. They got me in right away, the wait was very reasonable, and I left with three brand new tires (plus one repaired), all at an affordable out-the-door price. I have bought tires for both my car and truck from Discount Tire. Yesterday, May 4th I picked up a piece of metal in my tire on the freeway and was loosing air. I pulled into Discount Tire in Mesa on Power Rd. at about noon. They told me that they would have a new tire put on but I would be in there for 4 hours. I did get my tire changes and was out of the tire shop at 4:15pm. They should have a bay just for walk-ins with problems such as mine. a 4 hours wait is unacceptable. read more

believe his name was Josh who assisted me that day, and his customer service was extremely genuine, not just with me, but with other customers I watched him help as well. A couple of months ago, I visited the Val Vista & Ray location and unfortunately had a frustrating experience. I had a 1 PM appointment and ended up sitting there for 90 minutes without my car ever being looked at. I completely understand that delays can happen, but appointments shouldn't be treated like walk-ins. I expected to be out of there by the 90-minute mark. I then had to stand in line for another 20 minutes just to cancel and get my keys back, which added to the frustration. This past weekend, I took my car to the Greenfield & Baseline location, and the experience was completely different. Josh was efficient, attentive, and very aware of the growing line. At one point he proactively asked if anyone was simply picking up, then even apologized to me for doing so, which I told him I actually appreciated because it showed he was looking out for everyone. Most importantly, there was a genuine desire to help me with my situation rather than any pushy salesman vibe. I've been a Discount Tore customer for many years and for good reasons! They are a solid company, have a great product and their customer service is consistently amazing! They make it easy to do business by having online appointments, I can shop for tires online or I can wait and get the expertise of a rep at the store (I usually choose the later). I just went there today and met with Jon, who has helped me in the past. He was on point (as usual) and helped me pick out the right tires, showed me the comparison and gave a personal recommendation based off my driving habits for this vehicle. They had me in and out, two new tires, in under 30 minutes! I know that's not always the case but I'm super impressed today and had to share my great experience. I've been to this particular Discount Tire at least four times and each time has been a great experience! I just had that tire and another replaced two months ago for worn tread, so this new tire replacement only cost the price of continued warranty coverage, rather than another $150+! I've been going to the Discount Tire store at Greenfield and baseline for years. I took a chance buying a set of house brand all terrain tires for my truck and I've been pleased with the performance after 25k miles. As long as you make an appointment, the service times are as promised once you're in the door. I've read other negative reviews about people's cars not getting in the bay upon arrival and that's just not realistic! The crew here is excellent and efficient. If you complain about the tire pressure check line waits, perhaps you should learn this simple task so you can do it yourself? read more

I came in for new tires in September. I was looking for the brand I already had because they lasted well and provided a very smooth ride. They were not in stock but could be ordered. The salesperson, Madison (I think), recommended another brand that was offering a coupon discount. I asked him 2 or 3 times if I would be able to tell the difference between them and the ones I had. He said "there would be no difference". After a couple months driving on them I can definitely say that these are not nearly as good. I had a much smoother ride with the ones I had. I admitted that I know next to nothing about tires. So when I go to a professional and solicit advice, I expect good, honest information. I don't think what I expected is what I got and it comes to mind every time I drive. As for the work required in mounting the tires and putting them on, that was apparently done well and was done in reasonable time. read more

I scheduled my tire rotation online a day before, I was greeted promptly and the employee inspected my car with me. I was not upsold any services and I got exactly what I came for. I have been coming here since I started driving (14+ years ago). They've serviced my cars throughout the years and have always been friendly and honest. I just came here to get my tires rotated, but was informed my tires were low tread and old (cracking, breaking in the rubber). Brent was friendly, professional, and helpful. He didn't try to upsell me on my tires and found me ones that would work well with my existing tires. He was also patient as I made a decision. The service is always great here, they've helped me, my parents, and now my husband throughout the years. We continue to go back because of the continued good service. I had purchased tires in March from this location and came back with an appointment just this past week to get the tires rotated. I only bought two tires because two of my tires were good. I waited an hour and a half after booking my appointment to get my tires done, and when I got my car, I realized that only the passenger side was rotated. After an hour and a half they only rotated one side of my car. The driver side was not rotated and the only reason I know this is because I had two different tires on the back of my car. Now if all four tires were the same I would've never known that my tires were not rotated. I think this is dishonest and a safety hazard so if you go to this location for a rotation, please make sure that they are actually rotating your tires. read more

I have been coming to this location since it opened and the current management and employee staff they have is the worst that I have seen at this location. I used to give 5 star ratings and now I can only give a 1 star rating I would recommend going to other discount tire stores as this manager does not seem to be managing very well and probably needs to be moved either to a different location or retrained. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Super annoyed because I dropped my tire off to get the hole patched. They said the tire was definitely small enough to patch and it would only take an hour or two. Five hours later they say they can't patch it and I need to buy a new tire (they only care abt money). Anyways I show up and they had taken the tire apart and refused to put it back together, so now I have back shit all over my car because they made me put the tire and wheel separate in my car. The guys here are always SO helpful! I always come here to get my air checked on my tires to make sure all is good and this time I was getting a notification on my dash that one of my tires was low. I got them filled and a few days later that same notification came on. When I told the attendant that he checked it out and saw a nail! SO he explained to me that they repair that issue for free! That is awesome! He also explained to me how much easier on me it would be if I set an appointment to get it done since they were SO busy at that moment ,which I did Super awesome customer service! This company/location has been slowly going down hill. Just put new tires/rims on my 4 Runner. Bought Matt black rims. They put shiny balancing squares that really did not look good with these rims. They said the black ones needed to be special ordered. It would seem to me this should be automatic when you buy the rims from them that they have the balancing weights to match. Well my brand new car drove like crap. Had to bring back to have their balancing checked. Turned out three of the tires were not balanced correctly. They corrected it and now the car steering wheel is not shimmering back and forth. As if it wasn't enough I had to spend my time bringing it back they left the old adhesive on the rims where they moved the weights. It would have been easier for them to remove......now I need to stick my fingers between the spokes to try and remove. The adhesive is white and my rims are mat black so this shows up like a sore thumb. Between issues like missing lug nuts in the past to special tools for spares not being put back I'm not impressed. Front end employees are always nice and polite but there is a quality control problem in the back. read more

Discount Tire is a nationwide independent tire and wheel retailer and is the largest independent retailer headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona. I purchased high end Pirelli tires from America's Tire in California and the warranty was honored in Arizona at Discount Tire which is the trade name in most states other than California. The tires performed admirably and the only reason I needed a replacement was due to a nail in the tire that could not be patched. A replacement tire was ordered and arrived the following day. Brent Struckmeyer is the store manager and runs a seamless operation that is customer service oriented and ensures immediate and efficient service and counsel for all tire and wheel needs. The showroom and waiting area are immaculately maintained, very cool in the Arizona heat, with comfortable seating areas. The store is very busy and has a constant stream of incoming customers who are attended to promptly and given a reasonable timeframe for the completion of the work. This kind of efficient operation could only be secured with vigilant, competent, and professional oversight of the manager, Brent Struckmeyer. My service request posted a challenge as the key for the wheel locks could not be located and a polite request was made if the trunk where the spare was held could be checked for the missing key which I approved of course. Trevor was the professional and courteous technician who changed out my tire with the new one and did and amazing and efficient job. Trevor and Zach are house technicians who not only provide outstanding customer service, but in addition are talented and experienced technicians doing outstanding work. It is very nice to see the nicely pressed uniforms and neat appearance on all employees, as Trevor and Zach, and the opportunity for employees to advance to higher management positions, as Trevor and Zach are surely to do given their superior workmanship and performance. I highly recommend this particular location for all tire and wheel needs. I will surely return again and refer my family and friends to this location. read more

So do not use this location for tire repair. My truck had been pulled back to the bay now for close to 45 min and my truck is still in the bay on jacks for a damn screw. I appreciate the free repair but when I see 2 other vehicles come into the bay after me that's not cool at all. One was a Tesla and the other was another ram just like mine. One for a tire repair and the other for tire rotation. Still... my truck is on jacks in the bay for 1 tire. They say the guy is "new". discount tire customer service is nonexistent. on Friday at 8am I dropped off a tire to be fixed. I was in a hurry, since I had a doctors appointment. I mentioned this to the service rep but he continued trying to sell me wiper blades and lug nuts and explained the threads o my tires. I asked if the tire would be done that day. he said the tire should be there at 1230 so no problem and they would all when it was done. I went to work after my appointment and never received a call and by time I had a break in business they were closed. The next day my work day started early and was long. I refrained from taking a lunch so I could use that time to pick up my tire. I never heard from them all day. about 20 minutes before they were to close I gat a break and called. they said the tire was done on Friday. I was 30 minutes away and asked if someone could wait and they said they couldn't wait. I explained that the tire was already paid for and I didn't need them to mount it. I would take it with me. they said no one could wait and have me no explanation on why the didn't call. this is the second time this happened at this location, it won't happen a third time I like discount tire but I will stay away from the one in Mesa on power road read more
