I LOVE this place. Alex is the best. He always knows my order. I get tom kha with soft tofu and broccoli only, corn fritters, Thai roti, Thai fried rice, their peanut sauce is to die for. I used to get the red curry with soft tofu and broccoli but it has fish sauce and I can't eat it but it's soooooo good. Best curry ever. I hope this place reopens. Please message me when you do. I've been coming for at least 16 years. read more

The food is ok, the service is horrible. I order from this restaurant because of convenience however each time the service is bad. But this time was the last straw. I will never eat there again and do not recommend going anyone going there unless you like to be treated like dirt. We ordered take and the order was not correct but we didn't notice until I we were home. I called right away hoping for a quick resolution. Unfortunately, they hung up on me the first time I called. Then the second call back they refused to acknowledge the mistake and said they couldn't do anything. They treated us like we were lying about it and refused to make it right or except responsibility unless I brought the food back and they could see and then correct the order. I told them we were hungry and by the time that would happen it would be well past 9pm -- way too late to wait for them to correct the order. By the way, the food that was right, they would not recook or reheat either so that we could eat there. They were completely unreasonable and rude! read more

Pad Thai and Basil Fried Rice are supposed to be the most basic dishes that you cannot go wrong with. And Sri Thai was not upto the mark. Basil Thai Fried rice lacked Basil and PadThai was undercooked. Chicken was very dry and they didn't give complimentary chilli sauce. Pad Thai did not have the pad thai noodles, it was some thick chowmein. read more

Thought I'd try it out. Ordered chicken pad see ew... was suppose to be noodles, broccoli, bean sprouts and egg... I got noodles, broccoli and carrots?! And it had very little flavor, noodles were still white in color rather than a little brown from the Thai soy sauce... so disappointing. read more

Food is always on point. Twice now I've ordered an Iced COFFEE to go (as to have the next morning) and they send me off with an Iced TEA!! Look, if I want Cardamom at 6am that's what I would have ordered!! I'll go back for the Spicy Organic Tofu & Eggplant & their Fresh Rolls (no chicken). But will not waste my money on the iced coffee. read more

Being in Hacienda, there are many choices of food but we were feeling Thai. The restaurant was really empty for dinner time but eh... it was worth a try. I was in mood for noodles so I defaulted to Pad Thai. It's pretty bland in the restaurant itself, just 1 TV screen with the Golden Globes playing with no sound and dim-ish lights. Service was quick and friendly, water always filled...but a bit quiet though; the waitress was a bit soft-spoken. The food came less than 10 minutes after we ordered and portion sizes were pretty big. Thai tea was mixed behind counter when ordered so it's fairly fresh. The noodles and everything of the dish was pretty tasty, but very flavorful. It's not a bad thing to be flavorful except when it felt like the dish was laced with MSG. I was super thirsty half way through my meal and pretty much chugged through 2 glasses of water afterwards. Final Thoughts: Everything was very quick and decent, prices were reasonable... just felt like the food tried too hard to impress and ended up failing. Maybe another dish next time? Or I'd just wait awhile before trying this place again. read more

I've been to Sri-Thai several times to date, the latest of which occurred this past Friday night. Binky and I couldn't decide where to eat, and so, we ventured to this familiar location with empty stomachs and lofty expectations. We ordered, per usual, a serving of the Tom Ka (Binky's favorite). The Tom Ka, is admittedly, very, very good albeit SMALL. I understand that it is a single serving -- but even still, I feel that Sri-Thai's single portion is still smaller than most other establishments in the area (and for $4.50 a bowl!!). The soup IS delicious, however, and contains a GENEROUS portion of chicken with a few mushrooms and cilantro on top. Perhaps it's the ex-vegan in me, but I do wish with ALL my heart that they would serve the soup with JUST a FEW more mushrooms. I WOULD order the vegetarian option, instead of the chicken option, but I'm afraid Binky might cry if I were to do that to his beloved...so the vegan in me is left to scrounge exactly three to four mushroom pieces floating at the top of the soup. For our main course, Binky and I shared one Pad Kee Mao (w/ tofu -- Binky doesn't much care about the noodles) and one Duck Red Curry. The Pad Kee Mao was alright -- it was good, and flavorful, but neither the best nor the worst I've had. The Duck Curry, on the other hand, was definitely UNLIKE any other curry I've ever tasted (although admittedly, it is also the first DUCK curry I've ever had). Both Binky and I thoroughly enjoyed the curry. Some of the duck fat/juices inevitably seeps into the curry, giving the curry a REALLY nice flavor. They also have little bits of pineapples, tomatoes, and bell peppers in the curry, which helped to alleviate my burning, seemingly unquenchable desire for vegetables that night. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is primary the location of this restaurant that makes it so successful. Sri-Thai is one of the few (if not the only....) decent restaurants in Hacienda Crossings and makes for a great dinner prior or after watching a movie (how Binky and I first discovered this location). Overall, if you can avoid being swayed by the neon lights of FuddRuckers/Over-the-Border/Lazi Dog/Johnny Garlic's/etc., go to Sri-Thai! read more

VISIT: So BF & I were in the Dublin's Hacienda Crossing Shopping Center this past Monday evening coming from Ulta Beauty, when we both look @ each other, "What are we gonna eat for dinner?" Neither of us could think of anything @ the house & figured we'd just walk up to the theater area since it's surrounded by restaurants. About to make our way to Taxi's when I see Sri Thai restaurant..."Babe let's have Thai food instead", & in we go =) LOCATION: On the same section & in btw Taxi's & Starbucks. Plenty of parking in shared lot; depending on time of the day can determine how long u'll drive around to find parking tho. Store front looks small outside, but opens up when you enter. RESTAURANT: Spacious & clean w/ white table cloth dinning, & armless chairs. Restaurant can prob cater 40-50 people. There was a large party (like of 12) already dinning inside when we got in & few other folks. The place is welcoming for all people shapes & sizes really. CUST SVC: Upon entrance, flagged down from staff coming from the kitchen "Party for 2?" & got seated immediately. Friendly, patient, & prompt staff. TASTES: We got 2 Thai Teas that were greeeat! We did the "family style order" w/ plans to just share, so we got Yellow Chicken Curry (I love yellow curry), Spicy Beef, & Fried Rice. Entree plate sizes were common to other Thai restaurants...not large servings, more like medium size servings. Yellow Curry had cooked the chicken tender & curry was scrum-didly-umptous! Fried rice was just eh ok & pleasing. Spicy Beef...the seasoning was tasty, but we felt the beef was chewy if you will. FINAL TAB: So 3 entrees & 2 teas later, we end our dinner w/ a $40.45 tab & a lil' bit to take home. Of everything sampled, don't think I'd recommend the Spicy Beef, but everything else is great. APOLOGIES: Had a small lunch this day, so when the food was set in front of us, I completely 4got to break out w/ my Sony CyberShot. Sorry folks, no pics on this dinning trip, but none the less, worth trying out Sri Thai if visiting Dublin Hacienda Crossing =) read more

Food was good and very tasty. Will go back for sure!!!! One of the best thai food I tasted.

My favorite exclamation from a table-mate after tasting my "Thai hot" food for the second time after it sat for a few minutes and I stirred it up: "Holy **** Jim just brought the fires up from hell when he stirred that stuff!" I enjoyed my Thai hot yellow curry and a spring roll as well as what I sampled of several others around the table. I actually didn't think it was that hot though. I came here for a quick lunch, the place was a bit busy at 3 pm, but I didn't wait that long to be seated. Service was ok nothing really special. Food was ok too, but a bit pricey compared to other Thai restaurants I've been too. I came Sunday so I did not see any lunch specials. Nothing really strikes me to give this restaurant a 4 star or higher. I was not offered food suggestions or any special service. The ambiance is casual and the place is clean. I'll probably try to visit this place again some other time. read more

My husband & I love this restaurant! Let's just say we are dinning here every time we are in Dublin! We are greeted right away, our waiter was very nice soft spoken and friendly! We came here quit a few times & never a disappointment (knock on wood) lol. Sri Thai is a small place, with one huge TV, very fancy, super clean. Every time we are here my husband would ask the waiter to put the sports channel and he would change it with out any hesitation! So thumbs up for that! I've actually tried everything on the menu, let me tell you I absolutely love it! So much flavor & color in every dish! Every bite is like heaven in your mouth! My favorite are the currys! Best one would be the yellow curry with chicken! I love love love their Tum Ka (hot& sour soup with coconut ) and a side of brown rice which is 2.00 & white rice is 1.50! Not bad right ! Don't forget to try the duck curry! So much duck meat & veggies in one plate! Yum !! Pad Thai is a must have ! Not to salty and not too sweet it's just perfect! Definitely coming back read more

Sri Thai - Pad Thai - Thai Near Me - Dublin, California

So when I first entered this place I was like man I am going to be paying some bank for what I want because it is so beautiful the way they have there set up. It was to my surprise that to me they had very affordable options for "what was on the table". My plate with nothing added was 10.95. Now he did offer me rice to go with it and said that would be extra which to me and to many other restaurants I have been (especially Thai) that comes stock with these type of meals. It was only 2$ and at least he made mention of it‍. The company as a whole to just add that to come with may be more pleasant to not have as many un needed words in a conversation such as requesting for rice or ordering and expecting rice with it and not getting it. I am mainly giving 4 star as oppose to 5 for another matter though. The cashier was kind with his words and tone, however his demeanor did not match the profile. He said words of gratitude but did not look at me one time during our many exchanges of dialogue. So it felt very script as if i was not dealt with in any individually specified way. On the other hand the waitress who did not partaken in being the cashier was very kind and attentive and it felt in a way that was very genuine. The setting and food was legit nothing I could really pin point to improve in regards to those aspects. Def will consider going again but if i deal with the same cashier I plan to let him know in the most Graceful manner possible for the greater good of himself and the customer if lead. It could just be a cultural barrier but sincerity is a virtual language. Well anyways nothing left further to say. I hope people read this and are moved. :) read more

A little too fancy for us, but very typical for Thai. We were hoping for a more casual establishment because of the kids. But when you want your Thai fix, what are you going to do...So unlike a previous poster, I was all for the flat screen T.V. mounted on the wall. It was playing American Ninja Warrior and kept my son quiet the whole time we were there. My daughter on the other hand..... Anyhow, onto the food. We actually weren't expecting much from this place considering it's location in Hacienda crossings. But food was actually pretty decent. We ordered the Som Tum (green papaya salad), Tofu and vegetables in a spicy garlic, black bean sauce and pork fried rice for the kids. Lunch came with a free soup, which was nice. The salad and tofu dish were quite tasty. I thought the salad a trifle overdressed and a bit too sweet, but otherwise it was nice and refreshing. The tofu dish was satisfyingly spicy (though not crazy - would call it medium) and full of flavor. The only disappointment was the fried rice. It was tasty, but it didn't really taste like fried rice. It had an orange color and looked more like Spanish rice to be honest. I also did not care for the pork (which was just bits of pork stir-fried and not cubes of BBQ pork). Vegetables were also noticeably lacking in this dish. But then, this was for the kids and they may have left the vegetables out on purpose. My son seemed to like it and that's all that matters. Prices were a little steep for Thai, but that is to be expected for this location. They probably pay a premium to have a restaurant here. read more

#55 is the best. Alex is the waiter who makes your visit worth going to. Service is fast and the food is great.

Good Thai food that's conveniently located if you wanted to meet up with friends for some grub prior to a movie date. What we swallowed: CHICKEN PAD THAI: Sauce wasn't too runny and had good flavor. PAPAYA SALAD: Cold and crispy with just the right amount of tart. PANANG CURRY WITH BEEF: Great curry flavor loaded with beef. They have a brown rice option which is always appreciated. read more

I can't believe that some people gave this cute restaurant less than 5 stars! First of all, the service is great. I always get seated right away, except for Friday or Saturday night before a movie, but the most I've waited was about 10-15 min. For lunch, all the meals come with a delicious hot and sour soup. Then I always order Seafood in a Clay Pot that always taste FRESH like it came out from the sea (shrimp, mussels, calamari, scallops on top or jasmine rice). If you order this dish for dinner, it's on top of vermicelli noodles. I've also tried their fried rice which is delish, another dish with green beans, I can't remember the meat, and salmon sticks. For dinner, I love to order Crispy Calamari (nice light breading with sweet chili sauce), Seafood with eggplant and basil, Seafood in a Clay Pot, and BBQ chicken (OMG...yumo!) with a side of jasmine rice, of course. I gulp it down with Thai ice tea and hot Thai tea. Then for dessert, it's deep fried banana (wrapped in lumpia wrapper) with coconut ice cream which hits the spot!!! Hubby and I can eat, huh? This is all in one night and after this, we sit and relax at Regal Cinemas. This place does NOT serve their dishes with MSG (I know because if they did, I would get migraines for days and I asked). Plus, the seasoning is just right. Not too sweet, not too salty. I can eat here everyday. read more

We frequent this place for lunch, and dinner times and have been coming here since 2010. WAITSTAFF: 8.5/10. They are pretty ok, unless you are there during their peak hours (when there is a dip in service, but they have gotten better over the years. FOOD: 9/10. Love their "Thai Spicy" Pad Thai and their Green Curry with Seafood! These are our standard orders over and over again at this place. They do not use MSG/Ajina Motto/Monosodium Glutamate in their food, so what you taste here is the real taste of the food. They have a good selection of choices for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. SEATING: 7/10. They have plenty of tables but for parties more than 6-8, I would suggest to call ahead to see if they can reserve or accommodate. PRICING: 8/10. Their pricing is comparable to their similar competitors. Average meal costs between $12-15 per person depending on your choice. Overall, this has been a prime hangout for us foodies (and will be in the future!) read more

Funny, one could make a living off coaching small immigrant-owned restaurants on the finer points of customer service. Lacking at Sri-Thai - friendly greetings, smiles, helpful order-taking and common sense - showing a horror movie on the huge TV on the wall of a Thai restaurant? (No, I don't care to watch someone getting strangled in bed while I eat - thanks.) Actually, the service was fair, but the food was really good! I liked everything I ordered - Pad Thai, eggplant dish and coconut curry chicken dish - not sure about the names, sorry. Good food makes up for other deficiencies I mentioned. I'll give them another try soon...maybe next time I'll get a smile to go with my noodles? read more

I am sorry to give this place two stars but very, very underwhelming. Penang curry was super sweet, Thai vegetarian egg rolls were not fried all the way through she were doughy, the ginger pork entree was so under seasoned. The Tom Yum was the only saving grace. Decided to try this Thai place cause it was walking distance from my friends hotel despite the mediocre reviews. Big Mistake as I'm currently writing this review from the toilet. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and it was terrible. The noodles were not the correct noodles and the chicken tasted old. The entire thing was drenched in sauce like a puddle of goop. Two hours later it's giving me the diarrhea. My friend even thought someone blew up the toilet and asked what that smell was when I opened it. Steer Clear !!! read more

Great food and customer service. Would definitely recommend. We had Pad Thai and Yellow Curry and it was delicious.

This place is awsome in a way that could demand 0 stars but still manages 2 for its quick service and location. Thai food here looks stale, tastes nothing like authentic thai and probably needs to pull up a ventilation into their claustrophobic settings. So we entered, (a) Stinks in the beginning then you eventually get used to it (b) Menu is limited (even Little Home Thai has more on its menu) (c) New place so we order the usual curry and Pad Thai Chicken, both of them had cashews, curry, veggies but had to 'literally' dig for chicken. I know...its Five Guys or the rest, next time. read more

This is my second time here. Food here is great! It is a must try if you are in the area. I took off 2 stars due to the fact that there was hair on my empty plate and it was definitely not cleaned all the way. I asked for a new plate of course and I was given one right away. I also asked for lemon on the side for my water and they forgot. I asked for it the 2nd time and they finally gave it to me right before the food arrived. On top of that, there was no elbow room since we were sat next to the wall. Other than that the service was okay but, the food was definitely a 4 star! The Thai Style Fried Rice was full of flavors! And the fried calamari was crispy and tender. I recommend trying their food! Below are the 3 categories: Food - 4 stars Service - 3 stars Cleanliness - 2 star read more
