We pretty much don't eat anything before we go because you need a very good appetite. The veggies and protein selections at bar are abundant! The appetizer selections are amazing, lots to choose from. My favorite is the Happy Salmon Roll. You order the meat selections for your hot pot from a menu and they are delicious and fresh. Also a very good selection. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Constantly checking in on you. Place is very clean and you can reserve ahead of time. We usually go between 2-3pm and never had a long wait at that time. It does get very busy during dinner so reservations are recommended at that time. Overall it's a great experience and very delicious.

There was a good selection of veggies, noodles, and add-ons. The sauce station's variety seemed less than what I'm used to. The meat selection seemed top notch. The beef selection was great, but they passed it off to us in a stack without even telling us the order of the meat there; I was disappointed by that. The other side of the table got a meat tray that looked grey. I didn't dare touch it whatever it was. They also offered a sushi menu and an izakaya menu, which was just okay... nothing to write home about. I don't recall seeing or being offered any desserts. Would I visit this place again? Maybe. I think Spring Mountain Road has a lot to offer so I'd probably give another place a visit first before coming back here.

The wagyu and ingredients were fresh, the broths were flavorful, and everything was consistently great from start to finish. Our server, Christina, was amazing. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and took the time to answer all of our questions without ever making us feel rushed. Her service made an already great meal even better. It's always nice when a restaurant chain maintains the same standards across different locations, and Mikiya absolutely does. I highly recommend this location, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Las Vegas.

Our server was also very nice and attentive. My disappointment is with how the menu options were presented. I arrived at noon for lunch and was only given the full-price all-you-can-eat menu. Based on what I was shown, I thought the $45 tier was the least expensive option available. When discussing the different tiers with my server, I explained that I really wasn't interested in all the extra sides and additional items--I was simply looking for meat, vegetables, and rice. He even tried to talk me out of choosing the lowest $45 tier, but at no point was I told there was a separate lunch menu. It wasn't until AFTER I had eaten and received my bill that I asked whether there was a standard menu where you could order a smaller meal. That's when I was handed the lunch menu for the first time. I was honestly shocked. The lunch menu was exactly what I had been looking for from the beginning and would have been plenty of food at a price that fit my budget much better. Had I been presented with it when I arrived for lunch at noon, I absolutely would have ordered from it. Instead, I ended up spending around $70 on lunch because I believed the $45 all-you-can-eat tier was the lowest option available. I understand that I could have specifically asked whether there was a lunch menu, but when you arrive at noon for lunch, I don't think you should have to know to ask for a menu that isn't presented to you--especially after explaining that you're only looking for meat, vegetables, and rice. Good food and genuinely good service, but discovering a more appropriate lunch menu only after I had finished eating and received my bill left me feeling really disappointed and unfortunately overshadowed my first experience.

So that's what happened to us when we were supposed to try a popular Japanese BBQ spot nearby, but with a two hour wait, it would not work out for us. So, we fell in to this AYCE Hot Pot place which turned out to be an excellent surprise. Staff here from the host to the ones that take your orders and especially the food runners are very much on top of their game. Anything ordered from the kitchen came out within minutes. You are never without any meats to cook or sushi to eat. The self serve vegetable bar, sauce bar, and other accompaniments are up to you. Such a large variety of options. The hotpot burner is so fast, it reaches a boil quickly and you're on to preparing your creation of soup with noodles, seafood, vegetables, and meats that it's endless, or all you can handle. Definitely worth it and it was good we discovered it.

Highly recommend if you're looking for solid hotpot without breaking the bank!

My 11-year-old granddaughter took me to Mala Town for my 70th birthday. I had seen a lot of ads on…read moreYouTube for Mala Town and it looked good. I asked her if that would be ok and she told me she had been wanting hot pot for a few days. We entered and the place was super clean. It wasn't a typical shabu shabu restaurant, since it reminded me of Mongolian BBQ where you pick from over 50 items, from mushrooms and tofu, to meats. Everything was fresh. When your bowl is filled, they weigh it and pay by the pound. They let you pick from one of more than 10 broths, and the level of spiciness. They bring the finished product in brass bowls. Both my granddaughter and I enjoyed our bowls. I had mentioned to Paul (who took excellent care of us) that it was my birthday. He wished me Happy Birthday several times. He made us feel special. We will definitely put Mala Town on our list of places to make a regular visit and where to take people when they visit Las Vegas.

I was…read morecurious about the tomato sweet and sour sauce, since I'm looking for the same broth flavor I had back in Oregon. Sadly to say it was nothing similar. When you first enter this place you come up to a bowl and some tongs, it's basically self-serve, and you weigh what you have at the end. They did have a pretty impressive selection of things, but at $15.99 lb I started to limit my options of what I could have. At the end I paid for both bowls for me and my son, I'd say about $40 which was surprising to me since I didn't add much in it lol. I had a few slices of meat, 2 fish balls, 1 packet of noodles, some jelly noodles, and some bok Choy the total for my bowl came out to $20 lol. I wonder, does the bowl itself get tarred out since it carries weight? I should've asked since most of the things to me felt like it shouldn't have weighed a lb. I opted for the sweet and sour tomato, and waited for my bowl to be cooked, which took about 10-15 mins. I also made my own sauce at their sauce bar, with a little selection but made due with what they had. Flavors were ok, and the amount of food I had was tiny. I don't think I'll be coming back. For that price I could've gotten lunch special at an ayce establishment. But it was good to experience it to know what it was about.

The food was something else. I usually don't complain at all or don't care to but from my experience we were given the worst cuts of meat imaginable. I know this is "all you can eat" and there shouldn't be a high expectation for quality but we chose the lower tier option and the selection looked promising but it took a turn. One plate of brisket was great then the ribeye for the shabu came out, cooked it and we at it then spit it out. It was the most gamey, toughest, and old tasting meat I've ever put in my mouth. The weird part is that for the second round it a was great marbled cut and tasted good then the third time we got the same rotten tasting one. This place is scamming you with quality and thinks they can get away with it. This place is really too good to be true as they're switching out good meat for bad meat and mixing it up so you won't notice! This place obviously wants you to get the highest tier to have decent tasting meat which is messed up as they have also raised their prices. * I also tried the other location on eastern yesterday and it was the same! So to be fair skip Mura entirely. LOCAL SCAM BUSINESS

Came here for their weekday late night special, which is all you can eat. Arriving at around 9:30…read morepm, we were instantly seated at a table. There's options for shabu meats, nigiri, rolls, and appetizers. The veggies for the shabu are self-serve, as is the sauce bar. Honestly, my biggest complaint is that the table is definitely not big enough for both shabu + food orders at the same time. As a result, we ended up ordering sushi first and shabu later, to ensure there was enough table space. Maybe getting some tiered dishes or having a side holder for the shabu like maybe hot pot spots have would help here. The sushi was pretty solid and I really appreciated how the nigiri didn't have too much rice. The shabu meat was also pretty solid quality. We ended up going about 4-5 rounds until the kitchen closed at around 11 pm. Service wise, it was hard to get our waiter's attention. The waiters also messed up a couple of our orders, in one case forgetting to put it in until we ordered again, leading to way more food than we wanted. We also ordered soju, which they forgot about and took us 15 minutes to flag them down to get. Why 4 stars and not 5? The price and quality warrants a 5, but the lack of table space + the wait staff mess ups warrants a deduction.
