Yummy food! My bf and I got the spicy tuna hand roll with the Addictive chicken bowl. Our favorite was the bowl. The chicken was nice and crispy and sweet and savory. The tuna hand roll was also delicious! It tasted fresh.
Authentic hakata ramen in Las Vegas. Lots of chasiu topping with the perfect ramen egg. Broth is nice and piping hot. Recommend checking this place out!!
Even though it's summer and our days are in the 90s, or above, it was time for some hot soup for dinner. I checked Yelp and I decided to place a take out order with Sakura which isn't too far away. I got there early, so I had a seat on a bench and waited for the meal to be put together. In a short time, I was brought the bag and reminded that the noodles were at the top of the broth. When I got home, I took the noodles in their plastic holder out and I poured the spicy broth into a bowl and heated it for a minute in the microwave. I then added the noodles and stirred them around. The noodles were good and the spicy broth was just what I wanted. It could have been spicier, but it was OK the way it was. I stopped eating the ramen to enjoy the avocado with eel in nori. They were little Japanese tacos. A good choice for dinner even though it's a bit pricey.
This little local hideout has been part of my restaurant rotation lately, and I keep coming back ;) 1. Ramen - The ramen is delicious. I usually go for the spicy tonkotsu, and I love that they serve the spice on the side so you can control exactly how spicy you want it. Such a simple touch, but it makes a difference. 2. Gyoza - This honestly feels like comfort food. Easy, flavorful, and just the perfect little bite to have alongside your ramen. 3. Hand rolls - Definitely try the spicy tuna or the eel. The restaurant has that cozy, small, "hole-in-the-wall" feel that makes it feel like a genuine neighborhood spot. Seating is comfortable and I can usually find a table without much of a wait. The staff is also super inviting and does a great job checking in on the tables without being overbearing. Definitely one of those places that feels like a little local gem. I'll keep coming back.

The food was good, a bit too salty. It took a bit for food to come out even tho it wasn't very busy. It's nice that they offer a prize for kids when dine-in, I get to bride my kid to eat finish their food. Happy kids happy parents.

My boyfriend is a huge ramen lover, so after moving to Vegas, we decided to give this place a try without expecting much--but it completely blew us away. It's now our absolute favorite weekly spot! It's owned by an authentic Japanese chef, and the difference is clear from the very first sip of the broth. The meat-based broths are not salty at all, just incredibly savory and clean. They use all-natural ingredients, so unlike other places, I never feel bloated or sluggish after eating here. As someone who is extremely particular about food ingredients, I was deeply impressed by their Veggie Ramen--it is the definition of pure, clean flavor. With 9 different types of ramen on the menu, there's something for everyone. The side menu and desserts are just as spectacular: Chicken Karaage: Incredibly moist on the inside, with a subtle hint of curry flavor that makes it the absolute perfect pairing with a cold beer. Hand Rolls ($3.99-$4.99): If you want something refreshing on a hot day, I highly recommend these. They are packed to the brim with incredibly fresh ingredients and offer amazing value. Traditional Japanese Butter Corn: You also have to try this--it is cooked to a beautiful, smoky char. Pure perfection! Shaved Ice: They even have shaved ice for dessert, which is the perfect sweet and refreshing way to wrap up the meal. Eating here always leaves my stomach feeling clean and satisfied, which is why we keep coming back every single week. If you're looking for high-quality, authentic, and clean Japanese food in Las Vegas, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended! Love this place
My husband and I chose Sakura for a weekend date night. Upon entry we were immediately warmly greeted by staff. The restaurant isn't very large-- maybe 7 to 10 tables to serve 20 to 30 people at any given point. We were on the earlier side of dinner, so we were one of only 2 or 3 parties dining in. My husband ordered the Spicy Tonkotsu which he said was good but just wasn't as spicy as he would have hoped for. I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen without mushroom. I found it to be good ramen. For dessert we decided on the Double Berry Japanese Shaved Ice after seeing another table order it. While there weren't many diners eating in during our dinner, there appeared to be a steady stream of takeout orders. While the shop is small, the staff were friendly and food came out quickly. Staff were attentive without hovering. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at Sakura.
Probably one of the best off-Strip ramen spots in town. Although, with my go-to add-ons I.e., corn and extra egg, it comes to +/-$26. Pretty steep for a bowl of ramen, but quality comes with a price I suppose. I've dined here once and have gotten an order for pick-up also once. Just a heads up: This place gets b u s y.
If you are a ramen enthusiast, Sakura Ramen is an absolute Las Vegas gem that you have to visit! Ramen Master Hideto Kawahara has brought his incredible craft to this new location, and you can even read his inspiring story right there on the wall. My family and I used to frequent his Kashiwa location in Costa Mesa once or even twice a week with Hiro, and I am so happy to say that the same perfection we fell in love with there is exactly what you get at Sakura Ramen. Everything we had was spot on--the Sakura Ramen was phenomenal, the karaage was perfectly crispy, and it all washed down perfectly with a cold draft Sapporo. Beyond the food, the staff was incredibly friendly and great to strike up a conversation with, making the whole experience even better. This is officially my new must-stop ramen spot every time I'm in town. Do yourself a favor and stop by to try it for yourself!
Best ramen broth I've ever had this was the first time I've finished a whole bowl Of ramen broth. It had a light and savory flavour , not too rich. The beef was good, I could have preferred a softer texture. Perhaps not the best restaurant for vegetarians looking to get some protein intake as they do not serve Tofu. I also don't see indicators for gluten free food so you will Need to check with the chef if they have gluten free items. This is a small restaurant but it wasn't too busy when we got there. Get on the waitlist so you know how long you have to wait. We didn't have to wait too long only A few minutes.
We came here after finding out our usual spot was closed permanently. Sakura ramen has a good variety of ramen, bowls, apps and dessert. We had Maria as our server, the service provided was impeccable, enjoyed the small conversations. We both ordered the Sakura Ramen and spicy garlic edamame, seasoning of the garlic edamame was on point. Ramen was delicious. The restroom is single stall unisex since the store itself is pretty small itself. The best part..the to-go bowls they have separate the noodles and the broth. To me..this was really cool. Definitely recommend this place to you reading this.

Saw their 3rd anniversary special with all ramen at $10 and decided to give it a try. They actually take reservations on Yelp which is great because I'd imagine there'd be a long wait at that price. We arrived a few minutes early and a table was reserved for us. There were people waiting the whole time we were there. It's a small cozy restaurant with pretty basic decor. There are 12 small square tables that could be either stand alone or joined together. Do the maximum capacity is only about 24. The two of us ordered a Sakura Ramen and a Miso Ramen. For some reason, they were pretty slow. It took 36 and 38 minutes for the ramen to arrive. Other tables seemed to be waiting for a long time as well. A few minutes before our ramen came, the waiter did come by and told us that we'd be next. When we were done eating, the waitress also came by and thanked us for waiting. Our water was being filled while we waited without asking. Both were very courteous. Both ramen tasted very good. The Sakura Ramen came with thin noodles while the Miso Ramen was made with thick noodles. The thick one had a bit more texture but the thin one was also very good and maybe more suitable for the lighter broth. I think the soup base for both is the same pork broth but one had miso mixed in to give it a stronger flavor. The cha-shu portion was very generous. It was very well-prepared: tasted fresh and had a good texture to it. Overall, it was a great ramen spot. Just wish the service could be faster. read more
I visited during their 3rd anniversary special so that I can enjoy $10 ramen. I arrived about 30 minutes after they opened, and it was busy as expected. However, the waiting list was organized and my party of three was seated in a reasonable amount of time. Service was friendly and attentive despite the longer than usual wait for food. When the the food arrived, it was presented with the same excellent presentation without any signs of being rushed. Quality and taste matched the level of presentation. It was well worth the wait, and I look forward to returning. read more

Food: this ramen just did the job. I ordered the hakata ramen with egg and corn at $2 extra. I also ordered extra noodles cuz I am a bit hungry. Service: it's a sit down place so you just take a table and they have like 6 ramens to choose from. Some California hand rolls. Some side dishes as well. Ambiance: first thing is the music, I think it's either jPOP or anime sound tracks from all over. I definitely heard one of the openings for Naruto. Just a quick bite to eat before doing my evening errands. read more

Hi! I'm back again for the 84836227827 time haha! My boyfriend and I tried some new things on the menu and they were outstanding. Pics down below. We finally met the other chef officially her name is Fu and she is a sweetheart! Of course Maria like always is great and takes care of everyone. What I love most about this place besides the food is amazing the people who work here actually care about taste, presentation, and their own artwork. Ugh just love this place! read more

Their ramen noodle is really tasty. Lots of favor to it. I love the noodle. They cooked it perfectly. Broth is not too salty at all. They give lot of meats too not like other places only one piece. All people that work there are Japanese. Super nice even though the place was packs. They still give good customers service. Very cute little place. read more
Recently we gave Sakura Ramen another try and things have changed for the better! I love their Miso Tonkotsu ramen. It has that rich, flavorful, hearty broth with egg noodles, which is my kind of ramen! Not sure if this is permanent since they have a sign/picture of it on the wall, but it's not on the actual menu. I really hope they serve it year round, because this is the one big reason for me to come here! On our last visit, we tried the Matcha and Red Bean Shaved Ice for the first time. Very interesting that they import the ice from Japan. When they brought it to our table, it was tall and looked like a very big serving. We were worried that we wouldn't be able to finish it, but the ice was finely shaved and it was really really good! Light, not too sweet and perfect for sharing. Customer service is friendly, but sometimes they forget to refill the waters. Please don't ever take away the Miso Tonkotsu ramen! read more

We came here on a Monday at about 245p. It's a small and cozy authentic ramen shop with a chef direct from Japan. The shoyu bowl was delicious! The Sakura broth was so good. We got to start off with a curry bowl and chashu bowl and we ate those as appetizers until our ramen arrived Everything was great! read more
Delicious food and authentic vibes! We've tried Sakura Ramen twice and had great experiences both times. They have rich broth that is flavorful without being too oily (which is often my gripe with other ramen spots) and the noodles have great texture. Sakura Ramen also offer a ramen set special every day from 12pm-5pm that comes with a half chashu bowl, half curry rice, gyoza, or karaage. We've had the chashu bowl and curry rice and they were full of flavor! I was very impressed with the presentation too. The food comes out quickly and all the servers we met were very kind and happy to answer questions. I definitely recommend and plan to be back! read more
I've been here a few times and this last visit I ordered the Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen but with thicker noodle. To be honest there's no difference in the size of the noodles. I thought it would be al dente but it was too soft for my liking. The broth was yummy. Now the karage was delicious. So tender and I order the 2 piece which was perfect. I also asked for a glass of red wine which the server said they didn't have any so I OPT for the plum wine. Strange but the worker put ice in my wine. I've never had it served that way as it's usually chilled. Still good. Overall, service was good and personable. read more
This was our first time visiting this ramen eatery, and it was quite good! The interior is quite small but has cute and casual decor with a Japanese theme. It was a bit warm inside on the evening we visited; I'm not sure if their air conditioning was working properly. The server was very attentive and friendly and explained that the business is actually a Japanese chain. We tried the chicken karage and gyoza starters which were quite good. The gyoza definitely seemed handmade and not simply a frozen mass produced gyoza. I had the shoyu ramen which had a delicious and flavorful broth and tender pork with the associated standard toppings. I especially liked the thicker noodles, and there was a good quantity of noodles as well. Save room for dessert! We tried the cafe mocha parfait and the double berry shaved ice. The shaved ice is huge and definitely suitable for sharing. The parfait was delicious and in true Japanese style was not overly sugary or sweet and featured a nice coffee flavor. Both were perfect for a warm evening! Definitely visit Sakura when you have a craving for ramen! read more

Ordered the Sakura ramen and charsu bowl. Ramen had no toppings , one piece of pork and hard noodles. Cup of noodles would have been better. Also very very salty. The pork bowl also was very salty and the egg didn't look fresh. Chile oil spilled all over. It was not packed properly. read more

Came here cause i craved ramen on a weird summer night, we like to try new places and this place pleasantly surprised me! I had no idea of the background of the chef until i walked in and wow i loves everything! I grew up in japan so ramen is a staple and im so tired of the typical ramen we get here in the us! It can be good but sometimes we just need a simple delicious bowl of ramen! The house made gyoza was amazing as well! I also wish we could order singles of the skewers cause the package was a little too much for us cause we also got karaage. Amazing food! read more

After our favorite ramen place closed down we couldn't find a new ramen place and one date night we found Sakura Ramen. Our ramen date nights were then changed forever. The food is to die for, oh so flavorful! From the ramen to the rice bowls, and all the appetizers. The staff is among the friendliest we have met, to the point that they know all their regular customers. The ambiance is super cute too. It makes you feel like you're at a restaurant in Japan. You gotta come here. read more

Noodles Are silky Luxurious and Deliciously smooth... soup Flavor Has A great Umami... Taste! Chicken Kara age is Amazing Here. Always... i opted for the Sculptin ipa... San Diego brew goes Very well with this Cuisine... Hoppy a Little spark and citrus... Did a Cali and unagi Hand Rollz! Got A Little Dessertz @ da End... will try A Rice Bowl or pasta... Wow.....the Best Ramen in town hands down! I was blown away after coming here and trying their Ramen. The place was so clean and super cute with authentic japanese decor, the bathrooms were spotless too which was a plus. The service was amazing, Maria was super sweet and helpful during our first visit! She was on top of everything and checked up on us to make sure we were doing good. She also recommended the Gyoza she said its made in house for next visit! The Ramen was fantastic, The broth was super tasty filled with flavor and its homemade, you can taste the love put into this broth. It was salty either which is a plus for me. The pork was flavorful and super tender! The noodles were cooked perfectly. The egg was so good too love how the yoke was wet not fully cooked. It was the perfect amount but i would love more broth and meat added next time just because ;-) Also the Price was fair ,This is my new to go to spot for ramen when in the area. A quiet cozy little gem to get your ramen fix nestled in a small strip mall. When we walked in we were greeted right away with a welcoming smile and hello and seated immediately. I forgot to get our servers name but she is a sweetheart. We told her it was our 1st visit and she took the time to explain the different types of ramen broth and point out a special they offer and gave us time to decide, although we didn't need much time, lol we already knew our order. 2 shoyu ramen, 2 piece karaage chicken, gyoza, California roll and some hot tea. Our food came out quick, hot and ready to eat. Everything was delicious no plate / bowl left in touched. Lots of parking, minimal to no wait time and a return visit a must when we are in the area. read more
