I've tried a lot of ramen in my life, but Sojo Ramen is absolutely the real deal. This place is a total hidden gem that deserves all its flowers and then some! I ordered the Signature Black Garlic Ramen, and it was incredible. The broth was remarkably flavorful, rich, and had that perfect depth you only get from high quality black garlic oil. Every bite was consistent, and you can tell they put a lot of heart into their craft. Beyond the food, the service was great. The staff was attentive and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. If you're looking for your new favorite spot, this is it. Went with SO. I picked this place for its its reviews and the fact it had kimchi on the menu... for me, kimchi is a must. If a place doenst have it, I don't want to go. Apparently they took kimchi off the menu so that was very disappointing for me. Service was good, ambiance was nice and quiet. I got the tonkotsu and added tofu. The brother was pretty good. Partner got the spicy mala sichuan. He said it wasn't very spicy. I took a try and it tasted... interesting. It didn't taste like a Japanese ramen broth but more of a western chicken style brother with seasoning. Not my favorite but he said it was alright. The gyoza was so suuuper good. Sojo has not lost their mojo!!! We hadn't been here for a while and when we went, it was just as good as I remembered! The broth is flavorful and they have added new menu items to stay on top of trends such as the spicy Sichuan mala ramen!! The pork belly and egg on top of the ramens are always cooked perfectly (like melt in your mouth goodness)!! Finally made it to Sojo after hearing about how good it was and it definitely lived up to the hype! Space is small, but not cramped at all. Well lit, clean, all good stuff. We were seated right away and I was shocked at how quickly the food came out after ordered! We got the chicken fried rice, chicken karaage, tonkatsu ramen, and spicy miso butter ramen. Everything was delicious! The fried rice was surprisingly so good (even my picky eater loved it). I really enjoyed the spicy miso butter ramen. Broth was rich and flavorful without being too greasy or "too much". The noodles were all cooked perfectly and the pork on both ramens were perfect. Hope to be back sooner than later! read more

Came in on 4th of July and it's completely empty, amazing for us because we were hungry and didn't want to wait. We were initially a party of 6 but 2 people were not eating. One of them left after dropping us off because he did not want soup on a hot day (understandable). My mom didn't eat bc she has a cut on her lip and didn't want hot soup either but she sat with us to feed my niece while the rest of us ate. We let the waiter know that 2/6 of the people would not be eating so that he could take the extra waters and plates/chopsticks he had placed on the table and he took it before we ordered our food. When we got the bill, there was a 18% gratuity added. ( the menu said 6 or more parties will charge a 10% gratuity ) We let the waiter know, and he nervously said that the card reader charges a table of 5 or more. I mentioned that I saw the menu stated 6 or more, not 5 or more. And he said oh well the card reader charges it manually, I can't modify it. Which is strange because does that mean they charge a party of 2 that walks in the 18% fee if they pay by card? NO, he lied twice just to get 18% gratuity. He had a bad attitude after that, this is poor behavior and I am not ok with someone stealing, which is that since he lied TWICE just to get us to pay the 18% fee. Went on a Saturday afternoon the place was quiet and relaxing for lunch, I had the teriyaki bowl wasn't really good because they added mayo to the rice made it too rich. The spicy ramen wasn't spicy at all, but it was ok, opened since 2019. People that works there are Chinese speaks English and Mandarin, service was good and fast. The chicken was soooo tender. All other ramen spots I've tried the chicken is either tough or chewy. The chicken here was so tender and fresh. I also had the edamame, which were also good. I ordered fried rice not knowing that it had corn. I am allergic so I alerted the server to see if it could be remade without corn or if a switch was possible. Solid ramen spot! Came here with my partner, we both got the tonkatsu and split an agadashi tofu. Food came out pretty quick and was nice and hot. Decent soup to noodle ratio (I didn't have a full bowl of soup after finishing my noodles). Noodles were a tad softer than I would have like but that's just personal preference. The egg was perfectly soft boiled! Agadashi tofu had a good crisp. The sauce was a touch overpowering for my palate but my partner loved it so much they ordered a second plate. A hidden gem of ramen place away from China town. Attentive and friendly staff. Very smooth but rich flavored broth. Their pork is melting in the mouth but not fatty. The egg and bamboo are both very delicious. But the best and must try is their fried calamari, may have to get two orders when we return!! This restaurant is quickly becoming one of the new favorites in town, mainly due to the consistent quality of the broth and the affordable pricing. You know the economy is rough when two bowls of ramen and an appetizer costs $60 after tip. This is my experience with most ramen shops in Vegas nowadays which is the very opposite of what ramen is supposed to be, which is cheap comfort food that you can grab at any time. Not some "luxury" experience. Sojo has these prices beat, because my meal for a party of 2 here came out at around ~$45, for 2 ramens and a chicken kaarage. I also love this restaurant because it passes the MSG test. You know a restaurant overloads on the oil and MSG when you feel, for the lack of a better word, like shit, and you end up passing out and feeling drowsy for hours. After eating here a few times, it's safe to say that I can still adequately manage the rest of my day without taking a long nap. The only other restaurant that passes this test is Ramen Hashi, and that place is known for being on the healthier side with chicken-only broths. read more

I love that they have a kids ramen option so my littles can have their own without all the added stuff that they don't usually eat. It's a big portion for them and reasonable at $8.
