Jesus and Brandon were amazing! I don't even know where to begin. We have hired three different companies for moving in the past six months and I wish we would have found them first. They were fast and efficient with everything they did. I had to ask them to take a break, I think if I hadn't they would have powered right through the three flights of stairs up and down that we had. They were so polite and outgoing May friendly to my kids, which any mom can appreciate. And when it came to the most important piece I had in my house, my great-great grandmothers hope chest, they weren't just careful with it, the seemed to really care that the piece was so important to me. I was also impressed that they called more than once before their arrival to let me know where they were and how long they'd be before they got here. As far as the company, they were easy to get ahold of for a quote, that far beat everyone else's. They also called the day before to confirm our move. And were happy to answer any questions I had when I called back. I was so impressed and I'll be sure to recommend them as much as I can. Jesus mentioned that they were out of the north location, which is newer. I hired them to pack up my apartment and move me to my new apartment and unpack my stuff. This morning 6/28 they quit. I need a mover right now. These idiots said I have an insect infestation. I get my apartment cleaned every week. The guys who packed me weren't must accommodating. The packer Brandon was an idiot. THERE IS NO INSECT INFESTATION. We were very happy with Square Cow Moovers. We moved from TN to CO and had heard too many horror stories about the van lines that combine your stuff with other people's and things get damaged. My husband's coworker had previously worked for Square Cow and recommended them. We are so glad he did! The entire process was easy and went smoothly. They gave an estimate and that's exactly what we paid, no surprises. The movers put our stuff on one truck and drove directly to CO, no other moves, just ours, door to door. They took their time carefully wrapping our furniture to ensure no damages, and everything was delivered perfectly intact. No scratches, nothing- everything just as we sent it. The movers were super friendly and respectful. They showed up on time and everything was well-communicated. We will definitely use them if we move in the future and give them our highest recommendation. It's hard to find customer service this good, they are really on top of their game! read more

The moving crew was friendly, fast, considerate, and careful...with one exception. They move went well until the end when they were moving our dryer into the laundry room at the new house. They set it down hard and left a big scratch on the hardwood in a very obvious part of the floor. The scratch was deep and spanned three hardwood planks. The damage claim: They said I'd hear back within 24 hrs. It took over a week. I didn't have any spare planks. They sent a flooring guy out and he couldn't match the floor (which is fine; I'm trying to see if I can track that down), but the square cow damage guy (Jordan) said they were closing the claim based on an estimated $8.75/square foot material valuation, without any inquiry to the flooring company about labor cost. The flooring company told me they have a $1000 charge minimum for this type of work. -I suggested to Jordan that if he wants to close the claim quickly that $1200-1300 seems fair to cover labor and a box of planks. -He said that's too much and that it will probably be around half that. He couldn't even give me a real ballpark but said it will be whatever the check says when it comes in the mail. -I asked if I could get another quote to help us understand if we could do better to cover labor. -He said no, the claim is closed and that's not negotiable. -I then said, "to confirm then, you are unwilling to fix the scratch? You told me you have no other companies that can provide a bid. I'm working on finding the match, if I can find it and this company can fix it it it will cost twice what you're willing to pay, so you are unwilling to fix it. -He basically said sorry and hung up. read more

Marty and Lawrence where very polite and professional. Took great care of our belongings moving it from one place to the next. Not a scratch on anything. The process was very well communicated and even when it took longer than we all expected (and the team was working hard!) - they stayed perfectly professional and were awesome through the whole process. Would NEVER EVER recommend this company, if you value your belongings! My elderly sister and I combined two households, and moved 250 miles. We had to put our things in storage while waiting to move into our new home. The movers were supposed to be right behind us. They showed up about 8 hours later. We later realized it was because they went through our things and had plenty of time to decide what to help themselves to. A table from my deceased mother, an antique lamp, and more. This happened a while ago, but I still can't believe someone decided they were entitled to my possession and simply took them! I woke up at 3:30 this morning with this on my mind, and just HAD to post. Todd reached out to me, and I commend him for that. He remembered many details regarding our move, including taking the two guys to dinner that drove the truck to it's destination. The guys (around 8) finished loading our house by about 11:00 am. SO.....WHAT happened in the hours until dinner?? He emailed me a claim form, which I have declined to fill out. The missing items are priceless to me, and getting them back would be the only acceptable resolution. I stand by my previous review. read more

We chose Square Cow Moovers after getting several quotes from movers, and their pricing was the most competitive. Todd was easy to communicate with and very clear on all expectations, and answered all questions I had. They included our piano in the move at no extra charge. The day of the move, our elevator didn't work (...) and the guys had to bring everything down the stairs. They were friendly and did the job as quick as they could. This review is simple: - these guys showed up on time, busted their butts from start to finish (even though they were getting paid by the hour and not the job) - they were respectful of the items they were moving and the homes on both ends (asked to use restrooms, cleaned up their lunch, etc) Their trucks were clean and well organized too. I was nervous about hiring movers for the first time. I was afraid that things would go wrong and I'd be overcharged and left with no options. When the movers arrived, my concerns were quickly put to rest. They were friendly, professional, and FAST!! I had already been moving personal things for the past two days so I was tired. They quickly did a tour of my home, confirmed what needed to be moved, and got on the job. Our movers were incredibly slow taking over twice the amount of time estimated and over twice the time our move the year before took with another mover. After charging us $875 the manager then called us wanting to charge us even more. We were incredibly disappointed, angry and felt taken advantage of. Square Cow Movers were really great. First of all, it was very easy to book a move, and the price was reasonable. They arrived within the pre-scheduled time frame, and the move took pretty much exactly the same amount of time as they had estimated. I rented 3 U-box containers (like a PODS container, but smaller) and needed help to load my belongings into the containers. Since the containers are sort of small, this was a little challenging, but the movers made it work. I feel like the movers could have wrapped/loaded my stuff a little more carefully, as some items ended up scratched, but, all in all, it worked out. When I paid the final invoice, I was told that I'd be charged for an extra 30 minutes due to the long drive time it took to get to my house. I was never advised on this before; it may have been in the "fine print" of the contract, but I did not see it. I wish they had been more clear on this from the beginning. Moving is never fun or perfect; I'd hire this company again. read more

We were very pleased from start to finish. Michael N and Jaquan were 2 of 10 moving company representatives that even bothered to come to our home to provide a moving estimate. I immediately asked if they could drive the moving truck, which Jaquan did with a partner, Ricky. The price was substantially more reasonable with far better reviews for Square Cow Moovers. I have never met such customer oriented group of gentlemen. I was overwhelmed with gratitude that our first preferred date for moving was available and Michael was appropriately in touch with me every step of the way. Cameron supervised and worked with a group of 2 others to wrap our furniture for the move and finish packing items that we hadn't had a chance to. Cameron also supervised a group of 6 to load all items on the truck. Michael had estimated we would only need 1 moving truck and he safely made it work which saved us the cost of an additional truck which every other mover said we would need. Well, we didn't! I was truly blown away with Michael's courtesy, listening skills and the staff he had chosen to help with our move. Reserved my move with square cow VERY last minute due to a prior company I hired not returning any of my phone calls. The person I talked to was very friendly and willing to help. The next morning the guys called me to let me know that they were on the way and were very quick to arrive. Both guys were very friendly and productive. They wrapped all of my furniture and breakables up nicely as to not damage anything and were very quick to get everything done and moved. They asked me when we got to the move destination if I wanted them to move anything to a specific place for me which I just had one stone table moved. At the end of it all I was very pleased with the service I received. I had never hired movers before so I didn't really know what to do for them or expect. I did have a bottle of shampoo and a bar of soap come up missing, which is odd because it they were in the same box as some other bathroom stuff that I do have, but that is replaceable, a bad experience is not, which I was I got with the company I was talking to prior to finding square cow. Jesus and Sabino let us know when they were going to show up and arrived ready to work. I was very impressed with their hard work, respect to us and our belongings.
