The property manager made false allegations about me now twice. She is a liar, and a bad person. Literally had my car towed by the police for an "investigation in a crime" and the detective cleared me of all wrong doings, and I still don't have access to my stuff/unit. They have me locked out completely... AND IM INNOCENT!!! I have so much more to say about her but let's just say I have a litigation consultation Monday with Robinson and Henry , P.C and I'm suing her personally and won't stop till she is fired. Well unfortunately I lost my job and had no money to continue to pay, but I spoke to the manager asked for a couple days to get out (and I did), two days later. I advised her I was out and advised her she could stop my code access etc. told her thanks for everything all this time (2 yrs) here. Then two days later they bill me for the full months rent. Which I couldn't pay in the first place, that's why I had to move. I advised her I lost my job and couldn't pay had no where to currently stay :/ that's why I asked for a couple days to get out. So when I called to see what was the deal; she said there's nothing she could do about it! That it already went in and she couldn't change it! If I can't pay it would be sent to collections! Wow! And she's been the nicest:/ But that is why I asked her- because I couldn't pay- had she said No! I would have been in and out all night until it was empty, on the 30th! But she said o.k. And two days later billed the entire months rent for the unit that I was out of on the 2nd! Not good business practices, you're only as good as your word. If your word's no good, well, self explanatory :(. I don't want to have a bill on my credit that's not a valid charge. I wasn't occupying it- they could have rented it since the 2nd. Well technically since the first if when I asked her on the 30th she would have said "No" you have to be out by TODAY or you'll be billed the entire month rather you're there or not"! Our 10 x 15 unit was costing us $221 a month at this time last year. Then they raised it to $279 last December. And now they've just raised it AGAIN to $335 a month. A $114 per month increase in less than a year! I've never seen such price-gouging! In any other storage facility I've been in, rent increases were modest ($5-10 a month) and not more than once a year. We are in a position that it has been impossible to move out - but that day is coming soon. They're almost impossible to reach. I just finally talked to the manager, who told me several times that he agreed our unit is now way over-priced, but there's not much he can do. He's submitting a request for a rent decrease to corporate, but will unlikely be able to get it under $300 - and only for 3 months, then it goes all the way back up. I've been there for hours during business hours - when nobody was in the office and the bathrooms were locked and unavailable. I would NEVER rent with Public Storage! read more

Melissa is great, the other person who works there, Kevin, has earned this facility a 1 star. I just moved my stuff in from a different facility and did not know that I wasn't allowed to use the dumpster here- it was a convenient amenity at the last place I had storage. I was taking a big bag of used boxes to the dumpster and Kevin comes out and starts rudely chastising me for having a bag of trash, 'can you see the sign?'. He blames me for a bunch of boxes and trash that someone else left and threatens to charge me if I don't ask next time. I tried to tell him it was my mistake because of the courtesy dumpster back at my other place and he just continued to be rude. Really uncalled for, very poor customer service. Considering how wonderful Melissa was, it was a blind side. read more

Honestly I would not recommend this place to anyone. The are awful to work with, prorate nothing so even if you move out on the first you still pay a full month and the facility is unkempt as is the management. Spend a few extra dollars and go anywhere else. read more

My husband and I have rented our unit at 10455 Irma Drive in Northglenn, CO for several years now. The staff there have always been helpful and kind. Jeff Leszman, our old District Manager who retired in June of 2022, took time to talk with me on several occasions and helped with our requests. This year, Amber, our local storage unit Manager and her District Manager, responded to our request immediately. Amber is very supportive and knowledgeable about her job, the Public Storage facility that she manages and always reaches out to us, her customers, when we need assistance, guidance and help. I was just at this Public Storage location today with a friend and the red headed lady working there is very rude and unfriendly. A true JERK. My friend is all paid up, no hassles just wanted to ask a question. She ignores customers, is pushy, unprofessional and very unfriendly..... and for no perceivable reason! I understand people have a bad day but after being there 5 minutes I will not use their company and tell everyone I know on every form of social media I have that they suck. I told my friend to go somewhere else and he said he will soon. That red headed lady is a lawsuit waiting to happen as not only is she unpleasant but she isn't really suited for working with property, funds and professional people. I can't believe that with all the people looking for work that Public Storage off 104th in Thornton could only find this person to work for them. Unbelievable! I don't even think she is suited to work with other humans at all. I realize Public Storage is a huge company with lots of locations but this ONE employee is probably costing them more money than they are paying her and losing them money in droves. I worked in retail for 10 years providing customer service and I can honestly say that if she was working on commission she would make ZERO dollars. What an epic fail for a company during this covid hassle, oh yeah and BTW she wasn't wearing a mask not that I care but I thought their website stated their employees had to wear them? The worst storage ive ever use. The rates were extremely overpriced and went up after I had my stuff already in the unit. I was late my last month to pay it and they cut off my personal lock and went through my belongings. When I inquired within they stated that, that was policy and they went through my storage locker. On top of that, I had to replace my own lock to secure my belongings once again. So I had the extra 50 dollars after 3 days of being late plus I had to pay a extra 20 dollars for a new lock that they approved. With several thousands of dollars worth of personal belonging in someone else's care, it felt extremely unsecured. I have since moved out and will never be using public storage EVER AGAIN. read more

Public Storage has recently made large rate increases on short notice and is very pushy about payments and threatening about extra fees more than the $33.00 late fee...Also monthly payments are due on the 1st and late with Late Fee/s after the 4th of the month...Insurance of $11/mo is also required. The $1 1st month move in is actually $24.00 Plus $1 for account Set up fee and $1 for incentive 1st month rate. Local Management at site was fine but corporate culture at Public Storage defines PUSHY GREEDY.! Denver area has higher storage prices so go out to a small town for storage and reasonable price decency. I have notified Public Storage Manager of my Intent to move out before end of month..and P.S. email billing me and calling me (with threats of more fees) to pay the entire month in advance as usual. They just notified us our rent is going from $66.75 to $92 a month... if you're doing math that is essentially a 40% increase and what do we get for this extra fee? NOTHING! DO NOT GO HERE! The people are rude, they have no concept of customer service nor do they want to create lasting relationships with their customers. I used to use public storage for all of my business/personal needs and they were fine in CA. I came out here and they wouldn't even let me throw away a piece of cardboard in their monster trash can. I tried to leave the storage unit on the 30 day mark and they charged me an extra month because you only get 29 days in the month... When I contacted the district manager Jeff Leszman he was also rude saying that they have a 97% fill rate so another person would just take my month. Providing a review for services I receive is not something I take lightly. I feel that if I am impressed enough to write a review, there has to be something above and beyond the normal services. This is why I have written this note. This storage facility has been really good to me and my family. Over the last 5 years, as a family, we have had as many as 5 units rented. Some as a business for tools and supplies, some for personal use. I enjoyed the ownership under CubeSmart, and now as Public Storage, the management seems to be very kind and understanding. I am not into the 1 unit I currently have more than once or twice a month, if that. I don't interact with the management on a daily basis. I feel that if things are working well, there is no need to bother them. I pay the bill, they watch my stuff. Its a good trade. I did not like the price increase that Public brought with them. Although, I expect that there are compromises to be made. I do recommend this location for your storage needs. read more

Took a little longer route just so my children could get a little fun on our ride which is much appreciated is this heat with some toddlers who care nothing about our business transaction (didnt even feel like we were on business). I just moved out of my unit at this location after staying about 6 months, and I had a really good experience with them. They were offering a really great special when I moved in so I ended up only paying half the monthly rent than the other places I'd looked at! I was a little wary about getting a unit on an upper floor, but they made it easy moving in and out. The girls in the office were awesome, they were really helpful when I had questions about what I would need as far as moving supplies and were always friendly when I would come into the office. I'm a renter there and my husband and i go once a month to check on things. we went on a vacation and was at the unit the day we left because we needed something out of there. well 17 days later we went back and someone had been in our unit and stole everyone of my husbands tool boxes and tools. when going into the office i asked if they have security feed and they said yes. i told them what was going on and they said oh well we don't have security cameras in that part of the storage units. they asked if the lock was cut i said no and she asked what kind of lock it was, i said it was one i bought from them. she then said oh well it must be someone you know. I have both sets of keys to both my husbands storage and my own storage. she didn't even seem surprised. she said all i can tell you is you need to call and make a police report and call insurance. and that she will look through the video feed of the rest of the units but its going to take her time. i hope the rest of the units next to me didn't have anything stolen. just be aware if you rent here, make sure your in a part where there is cameras and put double locks that you buy somewhere else on them. and get the best insurance and don't leave tools beacuse thats what they were looking for. they could have stole a 12k+ wheelchair lift or 15k+ stairlifts but only went after the tools. read more

I rented a unit at this location several years ago and had a good experience, so when i needed to rent another unit, coming back to Public Storage Northglenn was a no brainer. When I called to ask about unit availability and pricing, Lisa was so helpful. I feel she went above and beyond the call of duty! I wish more people had the customer service dedication that Lisa has.
