    Buffet $26.99 pp

New Year's Eve dinner at Knotts. Don't let the classy and upscale exterior fool you - this is a buffet and the ambience is straight up "cavernous church hall." The service was non-existent, which seems impossible since all they had to do was take drink orders and take away empty plates. The girl at the cash bar said she was thrown there and had no idea what she was doing. My friend Brian said open that bottle and pour! There were a ton of staff working but no direction. Where's the training? Where's the management? Zero stars for the experience and service. Two stars for the food: highlights were green bean casserole, Mac n cheese, sweet potatoes, and believe it or not, the fruitcake! Definitely not worth $26.99 per person. At least we got our 10% annual pass discount.

A moment for being thankful for the people in our lives.

After having Thanksgiving breakfast at Spurs Restaurant I'm surprised that Spurs has only 3 stars. My experience was thoroughly wonderful. Being Thanksgiving we did have to wait a little while (even with reservations) but it wasn't a long wait. As we walked in the place was beautifully decorated and the buffet tables looked like holiday greeting cards. The back room where we sat is much more humble looking then the front room. However it is also much more quiet than the front room so I am really glad we were sat back there. Our waiter was really nice guy. Very friendly and courteous. My boyfriend was a bit miffed that the bus-woman (or someone) didn't take away our used plates fast enough. For me, since it was Thanksgiving and our table was largest enough for a new set of buffet dishes and the 2 used dishes it didn't bother me. She apologized, got the dishes and was off. The food: AMAZING. When you first walk in you can see the buffet tables to your right and it was literally picture perfect. Everything we tried was genuinely cooked / prepared to perfect or near perfection. The turkey was incredibly moist and the gravy was delicious. The salmon was fresh, the pasta was flavorful, the bacon was cooked thoroughly and not a single burnt one in the bunch. The fruit was fresh and the desert table was beautiful. The only suggestion I would offer is that I wish they had more 1-bite size samples of various desserts that they had in slices. I hate to waste food and I can't eat a lot of desserts. Also - a couple more sugar free 1-bite size samples would be nice.

This restaurant is a hidden gem (super stunning decor) and one of the best hotel restaurants I've ever eaten at. They have an incredible selection and prices are decent. The breakfast buffet is well worth the price with a wide range of options. Service was great both times we ate here and I would absolutely return again. Thank you to them for also giving my daughter a delicious complimentary dessert to celebrate her birthday!

I got the Thirty Acres Burger with the sunny side egg and bacon, and man was it good! The burger was cooked proper. The egg perfectly runny, but not overly so. The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the burnt ends appetizer we got was also quite good! Their boysenberry cocktail drink menu is also filled with tasty options as well, which is unfortunately why this review has no pictures as we were having such a good time I forgot to snap any. :P The servers were friendly and were quick to check on us and keep the drinks coming - they were well staffed, and things were flowing perfectly. The ambiance is new and clean, I know it's a year or so old now, but it's clear they keep the place up. Lots of seating, and the restaurant is attached to the bar so it's about as close as the kitchen is. In all I was really pleased with everyting about this place and I would certainly return. :)

Although CJ's was a much better restaurant from 1977-2005 when privately run by the Nickoloff family and took another quality hit when the otherwise excellent Landry's chain took over in 2010, the remaining locations, including this one, are still decent sit down, casual, and family dining restaurants. After visiting several times for lunch and dinner on both weekdays and weekends during both peak and non-peak hours, in our opinion, Yelpers who have complained about poor service both from servers and seaters as well as the seats being run down have not had a typical experience here. Although getting seated was a little slow on several of our visits, the people who seated did not have a bad attitude and on a few occasions it was our server. Although several of our servers here were friendly and attentive, Austin on our last visit, really did a good job. This is one of the only remaining CJ's that still has a salad bar and we have gotten it on several visits. We have also had the ribs and chicken pot pie at this location as well as some of their cocktails. Although it is sad that soup is no longer included in the salad bar, the food quality is still good and comparable to other renaming CJ locations such as in San Diego and Vegas (Henderson). This CJ's is located in a strip mall with limited parking and is across the street from Knott's Berry Farm. Parking can be difficult and the spaces are small, but we have always been able to find a spot so far. There are several other good restaurants in the area, but if you are visiting Knott's and want a sit down, casual, and family dining experience, this CJ's is a good choice and better than eating at Knott's--CJ's chicken pot pie is bigger and better than Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant. The 3.1 current Yelp average for this CJ's location is too low--it should be a 4 star. It cannot be a 5 star unless the return to the former quality and quantity the restaurant had under the Nickoloff family.

My kids typically order on the adult menu but they were excited that the kids menu had two side options. My daughter ordered the chicken tenders. They did not disappoint they were Krispy and delicious. My son ordered the French toast plate and he rally enjoyed it. The fruit in both plates were fresh. Unfortunately my meal was nothing like my kids. I ordered plain avocado toast. The first time it was brought out the eggs weren't in correct. Our server was kind and said she would have them remake it. I was hoping they actually would remake it because the avocado in the toast makes the bread soggy. The second time my plate was brought out it was the same toast eggs made correctly. As I cut my toast I noticed it was soggy and there was a hair on my plate. The manager was kind and did not hesitate to take it back. I was offered a fresh meal or a nee plate but my appetite was completely gone. Overall the service wasn't bad, I'm not sure what went wrong. Lesson to learn here. Check your food & have the waiters read back your order.
