Ghost Town Grill was worth the stop, even with the long line during Merry Farm. It definitely took some patience to get in, but once we did, the triple threat cake made it all worthwhile. It was incredibly delicious and felt like the perfect post-Thanksgiving treat--rich, festive, and totally indulgent with its layers of cake, cheesecake, and pie. I loved it so much that it actually inspired me to want to recreate it at home. While the wait knocks the experience down just a bit, the dessert alone makes this a fun seasonal stop inside Knott's Berry Farm. The staff was fantastic, and the Christmas carolers posted outside during Merry Farm added an extra dose of holiday charm that made the whole experience feel special. read more

At Knotts Berry Farm with a friend yesterday, stopped by for lunch at 2. No line, seated right away in a booth. Located in ghost town it had a western wagon theme, kind of cute. Carolyn our server was kind and attentive. We ordered a turkey sandwich and a hot Tennessee chicken sandwich, both with broccolini on the side. The food came out in about 20 minutes. We both liked our sandwiches and the broccolini was ok (barely steamed, a bit hard and crunchy even eating with a knife and fork, but better than if it had Ben overcooked). Portions were just right. My sandwich was not at all spicy but it was flavorful with dill pickles and coleslaw and a homemade biscuit that tasted buttery and well-toasted. For amusement park fare, it was decent. We were ready to go brave the Calico Rapids to cool off! After the ride I realized I'd forgotten my hydro flask water bottle at the restaurant. They had it for me at the front counter. We were here for the Boysenberry Festival and it was fantastic! There were too many choices to possibly try in one visit. The service is quick, the offerings are just a bit small for the chicken wings, but still satisfying. The tables could use some cleaning. The ambiance festive. I always look on Yelp to find the newest menu for this restaurant, but when I arrived the menu that was closest to today's date was already outdated and they no longer had those items. This rustic restaurant is located at Knott's Berry Farm. Funny, we had never noticed it before but it has been over 10 years since I last visited. We arrived just as they opened so our party of 5 was seated right away. We loved the ranch style decor, which gave you a feeling of the Old West. We had the nicest and most attentive server. She took our orders right away so the food came out quickly, which was great because we were famished! Everybody enjoyed their meals. I liked my Chili Relleno spring rolls with the spicy sauce. It's always a nice lunch here at Knott's Berry Farm at the Ghost Town grill. We always sit on the patio which is surrounded by flowers and gives you a view of all the park goers walking by. I stuck with my usual, the buffalo wings, and did a mix and match with my son, who ordered the Nacho Burger. Have you ordered a patty melt. The nacho bird was good, with housemaid salsa and melted pepper jack. Pepper Jack was super melty--sooo good. They have started serving seasoned fries, and I'm so glad. They're pretty good. I have had lunch here with my family twice in the past year or two and both times we have all been very pleased with our meals. There's a good selection of items on the menu for pretty reasonable prices despite being inside an amusement park and the portions are large. Decent offerings of beer, wine and cocktails, too. I ordered a very tasty salad on the first visit and the special pastrami burger on this most recent one. The burger was HUGE and really, really good. Just look at the pictures, man, this was a BEAST! I could only eat half of it with some fries but that wasn't because I didn't absolutely love it, I did. My wife and daughter helped pretty much finishing it off. I would NOT have liked leaving the other half! The kids all ordered chicken tenders and the wife ordered a great Club Sandwich (pictured). Everything seems to be around $20. I walked around and nothing appealed to me. Stumbled upon this place and I didn't know they had a sit down table service restaurant in the park. It's a cold day and they just started a new menu that includes chicken with wild rice soup. So that's what I chose. Had to wait a bit and the chef came out to tell me they were toasting the crostini. Never in my life would I expect this at a theme park. The soup is creamy and delicious and the crostini...just wow! It even had some roasted fresh sage leaves on top. I want to try some of their other dishes when I come next time. If you are heading to Knott's this is the best option in the park. read more

A fine place to sit down and get a bite and drink inside of the Calico Ghost Town area of Knott's Berry Farm We ate here on the busy first day of Peanut's Celebration, and service was fast and consistent. The two of us were seated quickly, and servers came by often to ask about food and drink. We've been coming here for years and it's a real shame how it's changed. We went on a busy day, which is understandable, but the experience was a mess from start to finish. There was a huge line out the door, and unlike just about every other restaurant in existence, they don't use a waitlist system. After waiting an hour, we were told we were next and could even see our table sitting there... just needed to be cleaned. Then, out of nowhere, they sat the next table ahead of us. Then the next one. Then the next one. We stood there another 20 minutes while the slowest busser in the history of restaurants, slowly worked through tables as several other staff members stood around chatting. When we finally sat down, we noticed half the dining room was empty. How can there be an hour-long line and that many open tables? Poor management is the only explanation. Once seated, things didn't get better. They were out of several menu items, and the food we did get wasn't any better than the quick-service options in the park. The salmon was straight up overcooked and fishy. The server was doing her best so I don't blame her, but honestly, most of the staff, especially the front of the house, seemed like they'd rather be anywhere else. If you can avoid this place when it's busy, do yourself a favor and skip it. Grab something faster elsewhere, you'll save time, money, and frustration. read more

This is nice air conditioning restaurant with table service. The decor is of the old west with booth seating and patio seating. Your food comes from an area where there is a stagecoach. They know who to make a delicious mango margarita. Carol was my server and she asked me for my drivers license in order to have a margarita. I took it as a compliment. I was served a fresh delicious salad with habanero sauce and avocado sauce on the side. This is a wonderful family restaurant. Haven't been here for a while and so glad we stopped by for lunch. They have a special edition menu with a yummy bourbon peach twisted tea and strawberry blondie Sunday. We also ordered the Baked Mac n Cheese with BBQ Pulled Pork and Mashed Potatoes & Ultimate Nachos with steak. Both items were so delicious and satisfying. My family and I have seen the lines out the door for this table service restaurant, so we decided to try it out for lunch on our last visit to Knott's. We were there on a Saturday in June (lunchtime ~11:30 am) and the wait time was ~less than 5 minutes. We ordered: grilled chicken sandwich (with a side salad), hand carved turkey club, grilled mac n cheese with grilled bbq pork (bbq pork was delicious), and from the kids menu- fettuccine with meat balls in marinara sauce with garlic bread (side of fruit and for dessert, a scoop of boysenberry ice cream). All the items from the sandwiches and more section of the menu were large portions, so they're good enough to share. Instead, save room for the boysenberry ice cream :). On a whim, we decided to try Ghost Town Grill for dinner since we were already at Knott's Berry Farm. The restaurant is inside the park near the Blacksmith and Pitchur Gallery, so you do need to purchase admission for the park to enter. The restaurant was empty, so we were able to be seated right away. We ordered two bowls of lobster bisque and two of the grilled ribeye entrees. I did enjoy the bisque, but found it to be lacking in lobster pieces. It was served with crackers, but would have been much better if accompanied by toast. Both steak entrees were ordered medium, but one came out more medium rare, but was edible. The second steak came out looking like a skilled vet could bring it back to life. We sent this one back, and waited...and waited. By the time we got the replacement, we had finished the other steak and sides and just opted to take the replacement to go. Great place for a sit down lunch or dinner while visiting Knotts. The food was really good, the only complaint, if you can call it that, would be the turkey sandwich needing a little more seasonings for flavor. But even then, I added a little salt and it was so good. Very fresh and BIG! My bf got the seasonal fish n chips and they were also really good. Portions sizes are big and you can definitely share. They give you so many French fries which is good bc they're good also. The wings were the first thing we smelled walking up to the line. They did NOT disappoint, would recommend them! By far the best restaurant at Knotts Berry Farm. The chicken dinner place was my very first favorite, but since it's gone downhill, I prefer this place. It's not like Disneyland where you have to make a reservation on the app, you can just literally walk in line and be seated. The quality food is very good here and fresh. My kids like the food and so is my husband. My favorite is the grilled chicken sandwich. Don't forget to use your Knott's pass to get a discount. The restaurant reminds me of an old little house on Prairie restaurant. It's really cool that you could sit on the patio during the holiday season and see the fake snow. We drove 5 straight hours to come here and when we wanted to try their famous Boysenberry pie we asked to be seated and waited 45 minutes, but even though we were the first in line, and 7 tables were open they still didn't seat us. We watched unfortunately, the staff dancing (warning : horrible danced moves, traumatized me) when we asked why we weren't getting seated they responded by screaming at us for no reason and lied to us several times when we asked for the pie. However, when we asked this exquisite staff member that goes by the name of Ronald (Thank you Ronald) he claimed that they a dozen pies. Thanks to Ronald we were able to get seated and weren't traumatized by bad dancing. Eventually, we got our pie and it had no a bite in it and had no Boysenberry. WORST DAY OF MY LIFE! read more

It was approaching the end of our day at Knott's Berry Farm and we were feeling a little peckish. I wasn't sure what I was in the mood to eat, but when I noticed that Ghost Town Grill had chili on the menu, I was immediately interested and intrigued. The decor inside the small restaurant certainly matches the old west vibe outside, and while various menu items looked promising, I obviously decided to go with the Old Fashioned Beef Chili. I got that without cheese and topped with just onions. It's decent chili. There's not a lot going on in terms of flavor aside from salt, but the mixture of ground beef and chunks of beef was quite tasty. The raw onions enhanced the dish, although the lack of heat was a little disappointing (if predictable). The chili at Ghost Town Grill will never win any awards, but it sure hit the spot after a long day of wandering. read more

I have been to Knott's Berry Farm many times but for some reason it's my first time at Ghost Town Grill. I have noticed it many times but never had a chance to dine here until earlier today when I went in with my son and nephew to have lunch. After a few hours at the busy park we needed to fuel up and this place had a few people in line compared to other eateries around. After waiting 10 mins in line we were seated. Our friendly waitress took our order right away, we all ordered the hamburger with fries and I got a boysenberry wings to try cause it sounded interesting. Let me tell you how delicious it was ... yummmm. We also ordered an iced cold boysenberry punch that hit the spot right away. The burgers and fried were perfectly cooked and tasted delicious. Large portion place for $18 ... I would say the prices here are very reasonable and the food is good quality .... And amazing customer service. Great ambiance as well. We had dinner here a couple weekends ago around 5 PM. My wife and I and our two kids. Cool location. We sat outside. Weather was great. The food, however, was not good at all. First of all, everyone at our table was served first. I had to wait 10 minutes for my meal. my wife, because she has good manners, waited to start until I was served. I insisted she not wait, but she did anyway. So by the time my salmon came out she ate cold food. The kids I made them eat and not wait. This is unacceptable. I don't know if this happens all the time or it was just my lucky day. But we will not be returning ever again. Nor will we recommend this place to anyone. read more

It's a really cool place if you're at Knott's for the day and need something to eat. The food is pretty good and surprisingly low-priced (for a theme park). They got the food out really fast, too! The waiters were very nice. It's also got a really cool vibe. Dim lights, rustic furniture. Kind of like if GhostRider was a restaurant . If you go here though, just be aware that they only take two checks. I went with a group of five, and two people split the check and we paid them back. It's a bit complicated to understand, but the waiters explain it pretty well. But other than that, it's great! Definitely a cool place to have dinner after a long day at Knott's. read more

I asked if they had boysenberry wine and they did, though it wasn't on the menu. So just go ahead and ask. We are a 9 yo picky eater, a vegetarian, and a gluten-free. We're an annoying nightmare...and we're all pretty happy eating here, hence the 5 stars. Is it the best food ever or even at Knott's? No, but it's pretty dang good, and the burger and fries I ordered were on point (impossible on gf bread, w chimichurri and delightful mushrooms). And I don't often get burgers and fries. We were at the Ghost Town Grill on New Years Eve. Granted, the place was packed and so service was a bit slow. My sister and my wife ordered the glazed salmon and I had the Chicken Quesidilia, and my nephew had Chicken Fingers. We waited and waited and waited. Finally, the food came out. There was no glaze flavor in the salmon, and by the way, in terms of vegetables, all they had were carrots!!! How is that possible? NO brocoli, green beans or anything else. My quesidilia was pretty bland, I think Del Taco could have done a better job. And somehow, they burned my nephews Chicken Fingers. I know over the years, Knotts has always had good food at their eating locations in and out of the park. I dont know who is in charge, but they need to get it together. I ve heard that even the Chicken Dinner Restaurant has slipped a bit. I dont think the Knott Family would be happy with that . Cedar Park needs to get it together and put more focus on their food!!!! Okay, so this is for all of your Knotts Berry Farm novices out there, thinking about visiting the park. Since visiting an amusement park is always sooooo expensive, you might want to pay attention The Ghost Town Grill is absolutely the best deal in the park for some quality cooking, a variety of choices, to include vegan and vegetarian options, as well as GF, at a very reasonable price--as in "leave the park during lunch to get normal prices on food" kind of pricing. As with pretty much all of the restaurants in Knotts Berry, the service is very good, so you are all good there. And if you don't already enjoy the old west decor and theme of the place, then go during the Christmas season when Ghost Town streets are all dressed up for the holidays and it snows right outside the restaurant--you will fall in love. My family and I eat here every time upon arrival the first night during the holidays; nothing else, just check into the Knotts hotel, walk to the park (this is with season passes, mind you) and down the red&green, glittery, Christmassy streets, and enjoy a nice dinner at the Ghost Town Grill. I'm getting all warm and fuzzy just thinking about it Oh, and the food, very good here. I love the toasted sandwiches, like the turkey club. The mac&cheese with pulled pork--drool . Fresh tasting salads. And the french fries are always hot and crispy! Have whatever you are having with a boysenberry beer, and you're all set. And when it comes to lunch at the park, it's either this or go pay about $20 a plate for various snack foods, or $20 for a burger at Coasters or Johnny Rocket's--not that these are terrible options, but the grill is way more affordable and a sit down setting--rest those tired feet. OK, so we all a know that amusement park food generally isn't great. So I'm grading on a curve here. But overall it was good to sit down to eat, in a space that wasn't overly crowded. The menu is pretty much what you'd expect from a ghost town themed restaurant... lots of American homestyle type of comfort foods. I'd say that nothing we had was outstanding. OK, probably really all was very mediocre. But at least the service was friendly, not really prompt, but friendly, and the kids were happy. read more

It was a good dine in lunch stop at Knott's. The 1st time we had visited Knott's we ate at Grizzly Creek Lodge near Camp Snoopy. The 2nd time around, we were near Ghost town during lunch time, so we stopped by at this restaurant. There is decent seating inside. Atmosphere feels like an old western town. I loved the decor inside. We ordered the following Chicken Tenders Tri-Tip sliders Classic Cesar Salad Total with tax and park discount came to ~ $39.76 Tri-tip sliders were a little hard to bite into. Ian ordered it for himself, but he could not enjoy the sliders. So, we all traded our plates *Laughs* The Mrs. ended up with my salad, and Ian ended up with the Mrs.'s Chicken tenders. (-1) Salad was very good! It was the right amount to satisfy the hunger bug during our long day at Knott's (+1) Chicken Tenders and Mashed potatoes were good. Service was good. Our waitress was pleasant to talk to, and kept checking up our table frequently.
