Let's talk about this diamond in the rough! Located right off the DoubleTree by Hilton in Buena Park, they provide reasonably priced meals for guests. And the food quality is terrific. Fresh, good presentation and delivered with not only a smile, but also conversation. Room service is available until 10 PM or you can also order takeout. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very pleasant and they seem to have a great system of keeping it clean and checking on each other's tables. Surprisingly, really Good food. I'm normally a little skeptical about hotel restaurants, but this one surprised me! The blacked chicken Alfredo was well seasoned, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. Chicken wings were fried crispy but not overcooked. Good amount of sauce. Buffalo hot. Overall, great experience! Breakfast options are served hot and got Zero complaints from me.. I'm glad I came by and checked this place out as there wasn't too many reviews online let alone a updated menu. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and given a menu. The food here is good the eggs was over easy, the steak medium rare , and the omelette fluffy cheesy. The service here is above and beyond making sure I was satisfied. Truly impressed with the food This place is attached to the double tree of Hilton. Which makes it even nicer for Hilton members. Came here right when it opened as we were going to knotts that day. I was ordered to go since my family was still asleep. I was literally the first in line and ordered separately from my two friends but we waited forever for our food. Over 30 minutes. The people who came in and sat down were served their food before us. I was upset over that but didn't say anything and when we finally follow up on our food. They brought all our to go food out at once. I don't know why they thought we all wanted our food at the same time. I would have left as soon as my food was ready. Staff was nice tho. Average food. Was just convenient since we were staying in the hotel. The worker said if we dined in, the kids would have ate free. I tried asking if that all day but she didn't know since she only works the am shift. read more

Absolutely delicious food! We had arrived early for dinner from a long day of teaching HazMat classes at Rio Hondo Fire Academy.....glasses of cab and a wonderful meal topped the day off perfectly! All I've had is the deli buffet. When they have events at the hotel they offer a buffet for $8.95 that includes a salad, various breads, Swiss Plus American cheeses, turkey, roast beef and ham. Plus mustard or mayo and lettuce, tomato, pickles and onions. Plus mushrooms in Italian dressing and a huge bowl of fresh mixed fruit. It's a great deal and great service. Overall, our stay was comfortable. It's affordable and the food is decent for breakfast. We have stayed here about 4 times in the past. I like the mini fridge in the room since we have a toddler and need to keep her milk refrigerated. It's a family friendly hotel. We always pay to have the breakfast included. This the the NINE dollar French toast that supposedly has four large slices of cinnamon French toast. Which is two regular sized pieces of bread.... The kids meal got three pancakes, 3 bacon pieces, and a drink (yeah... I stole some food from my kids...haha)! We ate at Ventanas Grill at the Holiday Inn Buena Park twice in August. Wonderful experience! Lunch on Thursday, 8 August. Breakfast on Friday, 9 August. EXCELLENT service and delicious food! Then, we attended a banquet in the hotel on Saturday, 10 August, I assume prepared by the Ventanas Grill kitchen. We have traveled all over the world, eaten dozens of banquet meals in many hotels. This was by far the best hotel banquet we have ever experienced. Not only was the food delicious, it was beautifully prepared. Will definitely eat here again when staying at this hotel. read more

The salad was fresh and salmon was cooked just right, we had fish and chips w big pieces of battered fish, and the homemade potato chips were great with pork sliders. My review is down one star due to the drinks being a little weak, almost like watery. The staff was super helpful and efficient. I really give it a 2 1/2. I ordered a custom burger asking for it to be cooked medium. While the menu states all burgers are cooked well done, I asked if I could order it differently and was told yes. It came well done. I ate some of it but then took the patty off. I also ordered the chocolate cake. I think the term "cake" should be used loosely. It was mostly frosting, ganache and then more frosting with chocolate chips. I think the actual cake part was maybe a quarter of an inch. If you love frosting then this is the cake for you!!! If you love cake - you might want to skip it. read more

Absolutely amazing service. Isidro was so nice. He was so kind and great with our kids. This restaurant is lucky to have him. We stayed at hotel and had breakfast every morning (6 days) and dinner several nights. Food was very reasonable and was excellent. We will be staying here whenever we come to Buena Park. read more

First - let me start out by saying this is NOT a Mexican restaurant. Why it's classified that way on Yelp is beyond me. Second - if you order a cocktail - it may take 20 min or more and several requests, even though the restaurant is empty. Third - Parking sucked. We were staying at the holiday inn it was connected too and had to make 3 passes around the whole lot just to find a space in the very back of the hotel complex. Did I mention this was 8:30 at night? Fourth - The food was terrible. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and my friend ordered wings. The wings were borderline so-so - but the quesadilla?!!! It was AWFUL. When it came out - I was suspicious because it seemed too 'thin' for having chicken in it. Then I opened up a triangle of it and it was just a mess of red pepper and onions in some sort of sauce. Wish I had taken a picture to share on here. No chicken and pretty much invisible cheese. I should've just sent it back and went elsewhere to eat but it was late and I was hungry. Against my better judgment I sent it back for the chicken (because the server couldn't locate it either) and it came back with some small bits of chicken but it still did not taste right. And did I mention the cheese was invisible? What makes a quesadilla if there's no cheese in it? Someone should tell the chef that Quesa = Cheese. Any how - I wouldn't recommend this place at all. There are several better restaurants near by that are much better. We went to El Zarapa's the next night about 15 min away and the food was fabulous. read more
