She was afraid that wherever we went might be out of geraniums (her favorite), so I called Lyn's that morning and they had several colors/varieties in stock. The nursery was much smaller than I'm used to, but the plants were all beautiful and healthy. It actually felt more like a pop-up shop than an actual store since they have canvas walls on their structures. However, my mom uses a wheelchair and had no problem getting around. I would have given them 5 stars, but *dang* are they pricey compared to some other shops. Don't get me wrong, I'd rather give my money to a mom and pop operation as opposed to the big guys, but the bill was much higher than I expected. That being said, the great customer service that started on my intifada phone call continued while two staff members helped load our goodies into our car. We'll definitely be back next year! As a matter of fact they had a wide variety of grasses in both one-pound and five-pound sized pots. The lady employee was extremely helpful, she showed me where the grasses were and helped carry them for me. I ordered and prepaid $450 for a security door at the Thornton Home Depot 5 days ago. First of all, after someone came and took the measurements I had ZERO response so I went to the store in person. I ordered a door from Larry, the door guy there, and prepaid over $450 for the door and install. Turns out the door would NOT have fit my door anyways, but no one called to tell me that. AFTER I PAID I HAD ZERO CONTACT for my door. I called to get a refund. I am still waiting for it to show up in my account, and yet Home Depot still did not refund over $250 for the installation charge. I called and FINALLY got a hold of COS Roberta. She refunded only the door, not the install. So, I called back and left a voicemail. ZERO response from Roberta. I now am going in today to see if I can get my money back. What an absolute CLUSTER. I will NEVER shop here again and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THORNTON HOME DEPOT. The staff is friendly but no one takes responsibility for any of this order purchase and I cannot even get my money back for a product they could not install (and never bothered to tell me they could not install) in the first place.

We had some very hot temperatures and started to see areas dying. We called Colorado Turf and asked them what to do because we never have had this happen before. The older lady told my husband not to worry it will come back. She told him to water 3 times a day and told him what type of fertilizer to purchase. We did it all. The new sod died! We had to rip out the sod we just purchased and install more. When we went to pick up the sod, they wanted to see pictures so we show them the dead sod along with the rest of the established lawn that was totally green and healthy. THEY GAVE US A $20.00 DISCOUNT!! Really?? I see other reviews with similar issues- in my opinion, trying to save a few dollars and using this company will cost you double in the long run when you have to rip out the sod you just purchased from them and replace it. Lots of metal work, windmills, wind chimes, mushrooms, dragons, large pots, frogs and such. Seeds. The clearance items were more my speed, as many of the offerings are higher priced than I was willing to pay. Possiblly more movement on items if price lowered a tad. Kind and helpful owners. Lots of space. Peaceful. Joyful. We were lucky to find it. We will return. Well worth the drive.
