They have very nice Christmas trees, too! I swiped some cut wood pieces off of trees that they have piled up in bins, free to all, that I like to use as coasters or candle holders. There were a lot of books that were "hot" right now on social media, as well as ones that were hidden gems that you may not have heard of. The price was equal to what you'd pay at a big book store chairs (so why not support local!). They also have a selection of used books that are greatly discounted. The person that was working when I went in, was very kind and gave us some recommendations, and also talk to us about our day. As I have aged more & more of the yard's care has gone undone to the point that none of my plants bloomed this year. This year I contacted Chris & asked her to rescue my plants. She carefully explained that my plants may take more than a year to recover, but she started them on the road to recovery. So far she has spent time trimming & shaping the plants. She has taken bags of old, dead growth out of each bush. They have been fertilized. Slowly they are beginning to grow back & look healthy again. Next spring I will see some flowers & the following year I will have my beautiful yard again. When that happens I will share pictures. In the meantime, I get complements every day about how much better my yard looks after every visit Chris makes. She's the greatest thing to happen at my house in many years.
