The new owners are not the same, and noticed bugs, bugs and more bugs on almost every plant I picked up. I asked where they get their plants and they wouldn't answer me. I think they are buying poor quality plants and charging the Hardy Boy prices. Good luck with that! I spoke with the staff and they admitted that they are having a fungal nat problem. I couldn't find one plant that didn't have bugs when checking the stems. Lots of stressed out plants too. Will never come back. Sorry. Too bad since it's a cute store and even shopping at the old location.

I sent an email to Colorado Bonsai Ltd., and received a friendly response within hours. Marcia and I sent several emails back and forth and she made it possible for me to purchase a lesson via phone. She was very accommodating and friendly. I work retail and having someone make my last minute shopping easy, was a breath of fresh air. My work schedule is crazy the week before Christmas and Marcia did everything in her power to help me. I can't wait to give my fiancé his gift and was amazed by the service I received from Marcia. Every year, he brings the staples that we all know and love, but he also does something special or different that gives you something to look forward to as well. Kerry is a plant guy who knows all the common and Latin names and anything else you want to know because he really loves what he does. All his plants are healthy and vigorous, and you can always get help finding stuff. Everyone goes shopping there as soon as you can get your plants in the ground (or, as we do, shuffle them into the house at night when temps are not quite ready, but that way we don't have to wait until mid-May). They will never disappoint you, and it's like a community picnic. I like to bring a couple of boxes of popsicles or iced tea for the crew on hot days, and it's just the best feeling to share the fresh beauty under the Boulder sun.

As I have aged more & more of the yard's care has gone undone to the point that none of my plants bloomed this year. This year I contacted Chris & asked her to rescue my plants. She carefully explained that my plants may take more than a year to recover, but she started them on the road to recovery. So far she has spent time trimming & shaping the plants. She has taken bags of old, dead growth out of each bush. They have been fertilized. Slowly they are beginning to grow back & look healthy again. Next spring I will see some flowers & the following year I will have my beautiful yard again. When that happens I will share pictures. In the meantime, I get complements every day about how much better my yard looks after every visit Chris makes. She's the greatest thing to happen at my house in many years.
