We were in Webster visiting friends and decided to get Chinese takeout. Thanks to Yelp we found Spring Garden. We all ordered dishes to share. Isn't that how everyone orders Chinese? Anyhow, our orders included chicken & snowpeas, Kung pao chicken, sesame chicken, beef & broccoli, and fried dumplings. Also fried rice. Looking now I guess we all like chicken. When opening our containers I immediately noticed they were filled with large pieces of fresh vegetables. This is always a positive for me. I tried all the dishes except the sesame chicken (too sweet for me). They were all tasty. I enjoyed the chicken & snow peas the most. Overall a good meal that I'd order again if in the area. 2025-20

Food was hot and super fresh. Definitely the best tasting in the webster area. Very reasonable portion for the price. Must try!

Not very impressed. Ordered beef with broccoli, beef was very slimy and rubbery. Everything was very oily. Flavor was bland.

Don't recommend, too many better options nearby. I was at…read morean office next door and called in a take out order for Kung Pao chicken to pick up on my way out. It was right around noon and I picked up the order 10 minutes later. I wasn't really paying attention when I scanned my card but somehow an order that was listed as $9.95 on the menu (+$1 up charge for noodles) came to over $15? So wayyyy overcharged. The up charge for the noodles was NOT worth it. They tasted old, like left over from the day before old, and not even fully reheated before I got them, some parts of the noodles were still cold. The chicken was rubbery and not spicy at all, which is what I wanted, Kung Pao is supposed to be spicy, they even note on the menu that it is. I had to ask for cutlery and the hostess acted put out that I wanted it. It's dusty and run down inside and out. No one in the parking lot and I was the only take out order waiting when I went in, at lunchtime on a busy Friday, so that probably says a lot. I won't go back, there are too many other options around here.

Service is still very good. Ambiance however is tough. It is dark and disorganized. Cobwebs hanging from the ceiling all over the place and menus are sticky.

The food has real, traditional spices and bold flavor. Nothing tastes watered down, and everything is seasoned the way you hope it'll be when you order Chinese food. Last time I got chicken fried rice, orange chicken, pan-fried dumplings, and crab rangoon. The fried rice was solid and well-seasoned, the orange chicken was crispy with a good sauce, the dumplings were nicely pan-seared, and the crab rangoon was fresh, crunchy, and hit the comfort-food spot. I've only done takeout, so I can't say much about the ambience, but it's centrally located with decent parking. Inside is traditionally decorated, and there's a giant golden throne in the lobby that's great for a quick picture. Service has always been speedy and friendly, orders come out fast, everything's packed well, and the staff is consistently nice.
