Ordered my food to eat at the restaurant. Not much of a dining area as this is a takeout location. They do have a single table with chairs I was able to use. Ordered my food and it was ready in less than 10 minutes. Very hot and tasty. I do wish I got more chicken in my order. More vegetables than anything. In this area this is simply the best place for Chinese food. It is consistently quality and very affordable. They have an extensive menu & feature luncheon & combo specials. The service is great & pick up time is usually about 15 minutes. The only downside here is ambiance- it's a small take out fare- eat in & the picnic table outside do not make it conducive to in- house dining. read more

First time going, and last. Food was okay, but the sweet and sour chicken was bland and oily, the sauce (separated in a container) had no flavor almost like out of a jar...no sweet and no sour. Wonton Soup had meat that tasted like it went bad. We couldnt eat either of our soups other than the broth and after the taste of foul meat we unrolled and tasted to check its flavor, we left that too. General Tsos was better than the sweet and sour, had red longhorn peppers for spice in it. That was okay. husband said -3 and I said 3 stars. This place was great. There are not a lot of quick service options in Palmyra but thankfully they still have Happiness Garden. The owners have this place down to a science. Order, cook, serve, repeat. They keep pumping out order after order of Chinese food at reasonable prices. We ordered a few dishes and grabbed a spot at a picnic table on the sidewalk. They brought the food right to us with everything we needed to eat. It tasted fresh and exactly what you expect from Western Chinese cuisine. We'll be back. Well done! read more

Standard Chinese food, "spicy" is not really. I should have ordered the Hunan chicken spicier. The sesame chicken was well sauced. The sweet n sour chicken was surprisingly bland. Neither sweet nor sour stood out. The egg roll was wonderfully crispy but not oily. read more

Some of the best take out Chinese I've had in the area, we've ordered from here twice since moving and I Palmyra and the portions both times for different dishes were generous. The vegetables in my Kung Pao Chicken were fresh tasting and the pork fried rice has large generous chunks of pork compared to other local takeout places. If you're searching for a hole in the wall authentic Chinese food while in Palmyra New York, they have some of the best tasting white rice. Mu Shu pork was fresh and delicious. The sweet-and-sour chicken tasted like they had cut and breaded the chicken that day. The ambience is, what can I say, old-school. Don't let that deter you. My family really enjoyed this restaurant! My 5 year old wanted the shrimp mei fun so I planned on sharing with him. It was such a large portion that the four of us shared it and still took some home! It was delicious and not oily (my biggest hesitation when ordering Chinese). We also ordered the won ton soup and broccoli and beef. There were huge delicious won ton full of flavorful meat. The broccoli and beef was more broccoli than beef but it tasted great! The beef was so tender! We had a meal for two in left overs. I saw some good reviews online and I'm so glad I did because it doesn't look like much from the outside. The gal that helped us was so friendly and kind. It was so appreciated as we (my family of 7) were tired and hungry, arriving at about 2:30 for lunch. Everything we ordered was made to order and seemed homemade. My kids were impressed with the real orange peels in the orange chicken. The Sesame Chicken was great as was General Tso's, Kung Pao , and Lo Mein. There was no skimping on portions and I really appreciated the broccoli added to each plate. I had the Hot and Sour soup. I was delicious and had a lot of flavor, and even better- lots of vegetables, something in every bite. I felt like it was actually soup and not just watery broth. My husband loved the Egg Drop soup and kept commenting on how good it was. I didn't try the egg rolls. They looked handmade. They looked mostly full of cabbage and I think my kids were wishing for more meat. But they were ok. Overall it was delicious and a great value. Very good food for reasonable prices. Loves the sweet and sour chicken. It was fresh, hand breaded, and they give you the sauce to pour yourself so that the breading doesn't get soggy. Delicious rice with every meal. Mushu pork also very delicious. The only problem I can think of was that the mushu pork wrap was a little dry...still yummy though.
