Ordered from here last night and paid over 50 dollars simply so I could take it to work the next day. Never opened anything until today to find bugs in the soup, broccoli and chicken and veg fried rice. I just threw it out. Disgusting and on top of that I payed over 50 dollars. read more

Best Chinese takeout in town! The food is always delicious and fast. We ordered in person and waited less than 15 minutes for our food.

I so want to give this 5 stars as it is my family's go to for Chinese food. However, the restaurant clearly needs updating. Looking at the dining area being used for storage for vacuum cleaners, and extra sodas, supplies, etc. is unappealing. I've also noticed a lot of dust and cobwebs. Carpet as others stated seriously needs to be replaced. The owners should really invest back in their restaurant. Food is ok. It is a quick trip when rushing after a sporting event/son's game. I agree with the reviews that although told 15-20 minutes, it often ends up being much longer. It is still much better than waiting for a pizza or going out to dinner to sit down and wait. Plenty of parking available. 3 stars as the concerns aren't deal breakers for us and we'll be back. read more

Would give 4.5 stars I've had both take out and eat in here. My son was able to get sesame chicken, minus the sesame, no hassle. It was yummy, especially the pork fried rice with lots of meaty pork ! The sushi is VERY fresh. The rice so fresh, it's warm. Not a hint of fishy smell to fish. My son enjoyed the salmon here way more than Wegmans. The owners kids were there and were polite and not interruptive. The daughter about age 11 and son in teens. Place could use an update. I would recommend and I feel the prices are fair for fresh made food, especially sushi. read more

I ordered late night saturday around 10pm, 30 minutes before close. I have never gotten food here before and i have to say my first experience was great and it would be a place i'd recommend. Usually going to Chinese places at night, the food is all leftover and not so good, but this food was ALL FRESH! I was so pleased to see that. This was during covid so i was picking up and eat in was not an option, but it looked like a nice area and the staff was very kind. The prices were good as well. read more

While most Chinese restaurants have your standard menu, one thing that stands out at Evergreen is the Sushi. I was not a sushi eater before, but now it is standard with my order. The Dragonroll is delicious and is always being made when I go to pick up (good thing!). Fresh wasabi and pink ginger. I have not enjoyed it like i do from here. Staff is always friendly! You can tell its a family run business, the children are very friendly as well. My only negative is location and atmosphere. It is attached to a gas station, it would shine if you had a location with better parking and a nicer dine-in setting - but that could be a risk. Overall - highly recommended. But room for improvement and diversity. read more

Went in person to place an order and was in the middle of doing so, when the employee decided to interrupt me to accept phone orders, one after the other while I was standing there. Evergreen Express is my favorite local takeout Chinese food. Unfortunately, It's just that- takeout. This isn't really the place where you would want to dine in. Now, that's fine for me, Evergreen makes good food, but I'd prefer to eat it at home. If you're looking for somewhere to dine in, this isn't the place. If you're just looking for take out, the prices are very reasonable, especially at lunch - and the foods good. read more

Ever Green is just down the road from us. We always get takeout. Sesame chicken is my son's go to, as well as my boyfriends. I get the Kung pow shrimp and shrimp with garlic sauce. It's American Chinese, you get what you pay for and it's very good. Fast service, delivered super hot! read more

I can't comment too much on the food since I almost always order the same thing whenever I go (General Tso's lunch special, extra spicy). Though it lacks the "extra" in the "extra spicy," it's consistent and pretty good. I'd give it 3 stars on the food alone. Their "pick 3" lunch specials look good and fresh whenever I've looked. However, the owners use the restaurant as a daycare for their two kids when school is out of session, giving them free rein of the dining area. iPads playing videos, no headphones, and if you think you can find solace in one corner of the restaurant, they get bored and move seats, leaving you no escape. It's a shame because it's so close to my office, but I will be finding another place to go on the days I'm looking for a quick and quiet escape. read more

Tried it because we just moved to Canandaigua and read great reviews on here but I do NOT recommend this place to anyone wouldn't even give them a one star but that's the lowest you can go. Completely overpriced and just bland and just tastes like cheap product. It always smells so good when I'm doing business nearby that tonight we gave it a try. On a scale of 1 to 10 the food was maybe a 6 which considering the reasonable price was okay with me and more or less what I had expected. The problem was our youthful server. He was sick! Thank God all he did was take our order and bring our drinks. He was snuffeling and even sneezing and wiping his nose. We almost left (probably should have) but we didn't. When we paid he handled my credit card. Good thing I keep disinfectant in my pocket. I cleaned the card with disinfectant as well as my hands. By the time I got home we were concerned enough that we took Zicam just to be on the safe side. People with colds and flu should NOT be working in food service while they are sick. I hope I'm not sick from this through the holidays. read more
