Hidden Gem for Chinese Food. Always quick and fresh when we order. The portions are huge for the price. The sweet and sour chicken is enough for us to split every time, as you are given a large amount of chicken and rice. Every dish we have tried has been delicious. I like the wonton soup, sweet and sour chicken, and chicken lo mein in particular. The hot and sour soup contains pork pieces, which many Chinese restaurants no long do. We were in Webster visiting friends and decided to get Chinese takeout. Thanks to Yelp we found Spring Garden. We all ordered dishes to share. Isn't that how everyone orders Chinese? Anyhow, our orders included chicken & snowpeas, Kung pao chicken, sesame chicken, beef & broccoli, and fried dumplings. Also fried rice. Looking now I guess we all like chicken. When opening our containers I immediately noticed they were filled with large pieces of fresh vegetables. This is always a positive for me. Decent to-go Chinese food. Their place is small with 2 tables indoor, it's good for sitting while you waiting for your food, not dining. I had bbq boneless rib and general Tso chicken. The chicken is soft and spicy which I like. The rib is so so and they fill the rib box with lettuce to make it look full. Staffs are friendly. read more

I have been going here since i was 5 years old. This place is amazing and so homey. Every time I walk inside I'm greeted with this amazing smell of warm Chinese food and it smells amazing! Not only this, it's close and local, which i love supporting local businesses! The food is amazing and i can tell that it was made by the heart. I have been a faithful customer at this restaurant for years but it has changed dramatically since Covid. This is a high volume, popular take out restaurant in Webster that is no where near as good as it use to be. First I had an issue with their egg rolls that were served to me with cabbage that was brown, dry, and inedible. In the last two weeks I have ordered their sesame chicken which was mostly breading and very little chicken. I spoke to the owner today and was told that it is the most popular dish they have. I respectfully disagreed. I have just returned from The Spring Garden after dropping off my entire order for a refund because we found a worm clinging to the side of my wife's bowl of shrimp chow mein wiggling around. They were very nice and apoligetic but this has gone on one too many times for me. I do not recommend this restaurant anymore and I will not be returning. It is not worth it. read more

This is the best Chinese takeout we have found in Webster. The food isn't amazing but there aren't many other options. They have typical chinese takeout faire. Food is always made within 20 minutes. Nothing in particular stands out from the menu. We have tried a good ammount of the menu over the years. Lately we have stuck to General tso, lo mein, meats with vegetables, mooshoo, fried rice, egg rolls. None are the best I've had at a takeout place but none are the worst either. The owners are nice. They are usually there and their kids are out front playing. Prices are reasonable but have crept up on recent years. Lunch specials are cheaper. They have a small seating area. I wouldn't dine in. This is mostly a takeout place. I've never had anything delivered and I'm not sure they deliver. I saw them on a few delivery sites though. read more

We've ordered from many Chinese restaurants in Rochester and surrounding areas and we have been pleased every time with Spring Gardens speed and flavors! I want to start by saying the food itself at Spring Garden Restaurant in Webster, NY was good. However, I just want to warn other customers that the online menus do not reflect the substantial price increases. We have teens in the house, so we placed a somewhat large order that we thought would be just under $50. We were quite unpleasantly surprised when the total came to over $70. To give a couple of examples of the price increases, the fried dumplings used to be $5.19 and are now $7.29. The chicken with cashew nuts was supposed to be $8.79 (according to the online menus available), but the current price is now $11.29. All of those $2-$3 increases add up! read more

The owner and staff are always very friendly , and the food is always delicious. Please give them a try! It's located in the plaza next to salvatores and across from wegmans. The quest for an wife approved Chinese joint has finally come to an end. She is a pretty impossibly picky eater when it comes to Chinese food so it's great to get her stamp of approval on this lol. They have a great location for us on the west side of Webster right across from our wegmans. Standard Chinese menu and all the normal offerings. Price is great as we got more than enough food for $25 and the quality was also really good as well. No delivery service is kind of a bummer, but they were super fast and were on time with their time estimation. They do have a pretty solid Covid setup as well for those wondering. read more
