I happen to really like this place. Food itself is mostly on par with many bbq places. Sides are decent as well. The added bonus here is pickle spear! Service is generally good. Manager here is super friendly and plenty of space for large groups. Their fresh bread is amazing and melts in your mouth. What an incredible experience, taste, service from afar to to finish. The sandwich and baked potato was delicious. I can't wait to go back.

I visited the Spring Creek at 5935 Hwy 6 N today and ordered two 3 meat plate dinners, which come with a total of 4 rolls. When I received my order I asked where my rolls. The cashier proceeds to go back to get them in the food line. They didn't have any there, so she went to the area where they cook the rolls and desserts and they didn't have any ready either. She proceeds to come back and tell me this as if I'm suppose to just say okay for something I paid for. I said I would wait for them to prepare more and she proceeds to say the yeast had not risen so they wouldn't have any more today. I asked well how are you going to compensate me or what are you gonna give me in exchange and they offered buns that they use to make the sandwiches with. I let them know that absolutely would not work. Finally I requested them to write on my receipt that they owe me four rolls and I'll come back another day to get them. I asked them to sign it and they act like they did not want to, then I insisted that a manager sign it because someone can easily think I wrote that on the receipt myself, I can't believe they gave me such a hard time. I'm very disappointed in this locations service and after I go back to get my rolls, I will not be visiting that location ever again. read more

Another great visit to Spring Creek BBQ. I have to say that Aqsa is a lovely, welcoming employee that made us feel at home! I got to meet Izzy, and Sual who also made our visit even more enjoyable! I love this spot lol. I always get the chopped baker all the way with fried okra and jalapeño ranch. No complaints here really, I just have had "better"' bbq at another spot not in the area. I'm going to be honest here. I like the brisket and sausage combo but it's a little pricey. Also I decided to dine in an hour after lunch rush and the place was empty. I was never offered an extra roll which is customary for this establishment. Due to the fact that the roll lady was on her cell phone the entire time I was there and ignored me. I'm from Mississippi and our BBQ is WAY different than Texas. Our bbq is more flavorful, while Texas has a different twist to see, not bland but pretty good. However, Spring Creek was great. Pay a bit extra and the sandwich can be filled with brisket. They aren't skimpy with it at all. I recommend that juicy marbled brisket. The sandwich bun wasn't great, but the star is the fillings. I got my baked potato all the way meaning bacon, cheese, chives, butter, and sour cream. It was absolutely delicious. I could live off of baked potatoes alone if only I could live in pj pants lol. To wash it all down I got a cold beer and had a good lunch with my family. If you want conveniences this is the place to be. Also make sure you leave some room for the fresh bread. This was my first experience with Spring Creek, and it was a take-out order. The meats were great; brisket, turkey, and sausage. The bread rolls were a nice touch. The potato salad, cole slaw, and Italian beans were solid. The half corn on the cob was water-logged, my advice is don't choose that one, the other sides should be fine. Overall what I liked was that the food was not overly salty. The website was clear and easy to use, they packed up our order very quickly and I was in and out in less than a minute.
