Eh, it's okay. It doesn't really fit Texas BBQ flavors or maybe I just like full flavored meats and sides. Here's what we tried: turkey- get some sauce for it, ribs- tender, chopped beef- good, potato salad- bland, beans- good, rolls- great. The service is friendly and fast and prices are comparable. I would recommend a good cleaning of the walls next to the booths. Not sure I would eat here again with all the other choices so close by. read more

We decided to eat BBQ today. We were going through the line when I found a dark long hair in the onions. These are the onions everyone has access, too. An employee behind the counter watched this happen and just stood there and watched, but did nothing. I told the young lady checking us out and she acted like it was nothing. I finally found the manager and told her, but she seemed to busy to hear me and offered nothing but that is terrible. I ordered a sandwich that I wanted onions on. Not one person offered to get me some new ones or another meal. This was terrible customer service and a health hazard. Everyone that comes in the doors has access to those onions!!! We needed to host a meal for a dozen people with very short notice. The folks at Spring Hill provided a delicious feast that fed everyone and we had plenty of leftovers. The bar b que was delicious, the sides were fresh and the rolls were amazing. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable, friendly and great to work with. If you have a crowd to feed, or just need a night of not cooking, this if a great place to come. read more

Food was tasty, but it was a little too pricey for cafeteria style service. I ordered brisket and the other folks with me had ribs--very tender, but not enough seasoning. Their homemade sauce was watery...definitely NOT worth paying $6 for a jar. read more

Surprisingly pretty good for a very good price. They serve their barbecue cafeteria style. You can have all of the sides you can eat. I had the brisket and it was really quite delicious. I love it when your expectations are very low and you take your first bite and you are thinking "Whaaaaaaaat!" This place surprised me to the upside. Really a nice formula they have here. Cold brisket, cold sausage, over all the food was not worth the 60 Dollars we spent plus it asked for a tip when we paid and my wife left a tip for no service , no dessert, grumpy employees , this is why it had been a year from my last visit. And we will not come back. read more

Always consistent. I grew up in Arlington eating at the original location on Cooper St and they know how to make some great BBQ. Spring Creek is my go-to for BBQ here in town. The staff is friendly, the bread is hot, and to me, it tastes like home. read more

I had one of those buy one get one free coupons. My sister and I went to the Burleson Spring Creek. I cant understand why something like chicken or turkey costs 13.95 or 14.95 for a dinner but tonight we got 2 for the price of one. By the time we got to our table the sausage and the brisket was stone cold as were the beans and rolls. I can get a nice 13.95 meal from anyplace else and at least it is hot. I just ate the things that were supposed to be cold like potato salad and pickles and took the brisket home along with the beans to heat in my microwave and have for lunch. Very disappointed. The meat is wonderfull, the cobbler has added more than just a few pounds to my stomach. The one thing that I have issues with is their BBQ sauce, and since this is a BBQ resturant that is why it only got 2 stars. Spring Creek! You can NOT go wrong with a pound of lean beef and some rolls, PERFECT dinner for 2! Not to say that we dont enjoy their sides, we totally do. They offer a wide selection, all AMAZING. Food is great but the girl baking the bread was not wearing gloves, would push her hair back then touch the food. Used foot to shove some food in the refrigerator. Wiped off counter with her hands, then dumped more bread on it. Never once observed her washing her hands. GROSS! read more

This is the best of all the BBQ chains. Like the other reviewer, I grew up in Arlington and ate at that location all the time. Can't beat the hot rolls. The sauce is also pretty good compared to other chains. read more

on 7/4/2020, ordered 2 lb. marbled barbecue brisket at Spring Creek in South Freeway on 35 in Burleson Texas. I'm very specific I told them I don't want the bar and I don't want an inch of fat on it. Got home open it up and I got the opposite dry with a lot of bark return it back and the manager split open the whole plastic bag & with his glove hand try to look for a marble slice & he found one marbled slice with a lot of bark. He was justifying that they are peppers (the peppers are outside that's the burned bark).Did I mention that he scattered it on the countertop & I told him I want to see how it's sliced so I know what I'm getting. I stand or watch the guy cut it & it's not even mine apparently the manager cut my own I don't know where any kept on insisting that it is 2.1 lb. Whoopi do I ordered 2 lb.for $47.00; don't come to this place they have seven food violations, finding it by joining the Yelp app that I have to join for this review.The managers name is Richard,he's rude & needs good customer service. Did you know they have seven violations per Yelp. He needs to apologize for his behavior you don't need him. Your business is going to go down because I will spread this out all over the Internet. There is a lot of people needing a job that will have better customer service. There is an older gentleman that is so kind when I was there and at least he gave me my condiments which the manager threw away and did not replace it back. To the business owner if you don't correct this I will disseminate this in the Internet so your business will go down. Richard needs to apologize for his rude behavior; Yelp is just the first stop. And with this covid economy, it will be a tragedy for your restaurant. I just ate at Spring Creek BBQ in Burleson. I had the ribs, and they were so tough that I actually had to take the meat out of my mouth. They were dried out. I think they must have saved them from last week. I won't be going back. Cousins in Crowley is MUCH better read more

Came in to have some dinner. I love the turkey plate so I just ask for no bread . The boy still puts bread on my plate so I politely remind no thank you on the bread . He looks at me very plainly annoyed , grabs the roll in a hurry off the plate with his hand and tosses it in the air and it goes flying in the back , and where it landed who knows . He looked so frustrated after he did it but then laughs about it shortly after and so did the girl who was there laughed they thought it was so funny . Meanwhile I'm still standing dumbfounded that someone could be that disrespectful and rude . None of the other employees batted an eye , they were not friendly at all. Just seemed like it was ran by of bunch of kids who didn't care about the job at all. The food was ok . Turkey on the salty side but all in all potatoe salad was ok and so was the slaw . This visit really upset me to the point I will be contacting corporate. I don't come in to restaurants to spend money and get treated like that. Very upsetting experience read more

I've had a lot of meals at Spring Creek. Never a bad experience. Portions are large, prices are reasonable, and the food is excellent. The bread is bottomless and delicious. The ribs are not the best I've ever had, but certainly very good. All the sides you can fit on your plate and are numerous, fresh, and very tasty.
