We have lived here for almost five years.But for some reason, this was our first time going to spring creek. But it won't be our last. My husband came here for his birthday and got baby back and St Louis cut ribs, and brisket. He also got Mac and cheese, potato salad, and they gave him plenty of BBQ sauce. They also gave him some complimentary peach cobbler and ice cream for his bday. Can I tell you everything was good!! BBQ at Spring Creek is consistently ok. Service has always been quick and friendly. This trip the ribs were dry and a little over done. The brisket was good and not much fat. The rolls are hot, fresh and tasty as always. Got a complimentary cobbler and ice cream from the rewards program which was the highlight of the meal. From eating at other more "craft" BBQ joints I feel like Spring Creek is a bit over priced for quality. Usually get served enough at the craft BBQ joints to have leftovers to take home. This Spring Creek seems to be getting a little run down as well. A door in the Women's Restroom was broken and had to be manipulated to be able to close and lock. I hope the Spring Creek management is reading yelp because as you can see from my previous review, I love spring Creek barbecue. This particular location however could use a little help. The food quality is good and of course the staff is always spectacular but unfortunately this restaurant is getting a little "grubby" From the faded and chipping pain on the exterior windows to the fingerprints on the front door to the condition of the men's room, I'm hoping you can revive this restaurant? I think the folks who work inside and eat inside deserve a little better. As for my meal, the brisket and ribs and beans and potato salad alongside the perfect fresh dinner rolls were spot on. Came here on a Sunday after landing in Dallas and checking into my hotel. My colleagues and I hustled over to get there before they closed. There was a little bit of everything left so we ordered the choice platter. The MacNCheese was lightly cheesey, which I prefer. I don't like when the MacNCheese is slopped with cheese and over cooked noodles. This one was not that and very good! The coleslaw rocked and not too saucey. The BBQ was a bit plane. We tried the ribs and while tender, they had a ketchup taste and were pretty plain. Brisket was okay but plain too. The bread basket women was very nice and came to our table four times. We also didn't know t he closed at 9 and only noticed at 9:15. It was very kind of them not to rush us out. The BBQ theme was fun but a bit on the nose. Good food, quick friendly service! Got the three meat combo and pecan pie and wasn't disappointed in any of it. Brisket flavor was good, although a little dry. Pepper sausage was excellent. Spare ribs were also very tasty and fall off the bone ready. Pecan pie was outstanding. Loved the fact that there was a young lady pushing dinner rolls every few minutes. Chained BBQ, what do you expect? It's close by and always hits the spot for me if I'm craving bbq brisket. Friendly/family oriented. Theres a room in the back if you would like to reserve for special events/occasions. All of the workers here are always welcoming. You walk in, grab a tray and silverware, order your meat(s) (they have fries/okras etc that isn't out as well as kids meals you can order), grab your sauces, sides, dessert (they also have Ice cream on the other side usually by the exit door on your way out), drinks (you can always ask for a to go cup if you prefer). If you don't already know, you can order which cut of the brisket you like! If you like marble /lean you can let them know and they'll cut that part for you. The bbq sauce they have behind the counter and slightly sweeter than the one they have out for you to grab so I always ask for extra of the sweet bbq sauce. Same for the ribs, my husband always points out which ribs he prefers to have and he's never been given any issues for it. Not a lot of people know but the sides are unlimited! You can get as much or as little as you please. (yes you can get back in line for more. Just ask for a small plate if you get back in for more sides!) I love love love that they constantly have someone come to your table to ask if you would like more fresh baked rolls! Those are my favvvvvvv!! (Except for the occasional burnt ones LOL it happens..) I prefer those than the ones that they give you in line when you get your meat (it is never hot or fresh... it always tastes old and that it has been left out a little too long..) One main complaint I have is the potato salad. The past couple months I've noticed a decline in it. The okra basket always arrives about the time we are halfway through eating our sandwiches. Never have this problem at other Spring Creeks. First thing we came in and all the trays were wet so you couldn't set your silverware on your tray. Then a heavyset Hispanic girl ( we were told she was a manager), was hollering at a young black man to come do something. (VERY unprofessional) Next we sat down and they were starting to clean up ( we got there about 8:20 and they close at 9:00) and the young lady working in the roll cooking area grabs the trash can with her mitts on and then grabs the bread and puts it in the basket. Next a young lady comes over and pours a 5 gallon bucket of water on the floor where the rolls get cooked (our booth was right next to the baking area) and water was everywhere including our booth. I will not be going back to this location. There's a lot of training that needs to be done here regarding health safety as well as just plain safety. read more

The server scalded me with hot water all over my arms and hands after dropping a metal serving plate into the serving bar while I was placing my order (against their training and policy so I was told). Not only did they not help me other than to give me balm and a simple verbal apology for 2nd degree burns with scarring. WORST MANAGEMENT decision was also to charge us for our meal!!! They refused to complete an incident report and said they would only help with payments towards a medical visit "IF I NEEDED IT". My second visit to this restaurant today nov28,20 at lunchtime . The food was amazing as always. The serving staff were friendly excellent service. The only negative thing about this visit is the younger female cashier. I was standing waiting to pay and she's telling me and my cousin to go sit down while she's waiting to cash us out, I didn't understand why she was saying. So I told her I'm ready to pay but she says to me I'm waiting fir the guy to cash out. And I told her he's not with us m, why would you assume that he's with us, I never said he was with us , she didn't even ask me at all. So she's says my bad. Ok so I let that go. Then my cousin and his so go up and get their meal, pay for it and on the way back to the table, the same young cashier flags my cousin down and says Theresa mistake on the charges. It turns out my cousin payed for the guy behind him. The young cashier assumed the guy was together with my cousin and his son. Now that is going to be the 2nd mistake that cashier made, The manager or somebody needs to train this young lady to ask first before you start assuming things. She thought the guy behind in the line was with us because we're the color, that is racial profiling and I don't appreciate ignorant people ASSUME before ASKING. 07/31/18 Tuesday 7:00 pm. I ordered the brisket and peppered sausage plate with sides. I will start by saying that I believe they aren't as generous with their meat as they used to be. Half of the brisket they served me was old and dry. The other half for which I waited for was hot and flavorful. Why didn't they just give me all of the fresh brisket? I should have spoken up but I had no way of knowing. The peppered sausage was very good. My sides were green beans which were well flavored and hot yummy! The potato salad although it looked good alternated between mushy and undercooked pieces. Bummer. The bread was great as usual. I come for the meat though! My hubby's ribs were very dry and not very meaty. His brisket was from the fresh as he was right behind me. Maybe next time it will be better. read more

Honestly they should rename this place Senior Citizen BBQ. I've lived in Texas my whole life and I would be ashamed if anyone from out of state got the impression that this place in any way shape or form represents Tx BBQ. It's like the Luby's of BBQ. Everything is bland not a speck of spice or salt in anything that they offer. The sauce was even bland, which as a person that loves to cook I can't even fathom how they were able to pull that off. Somehow a pepper sausage had no flavor, less a hint of pepper. I honestly thought I had covid again while eating there. It's terrible. I've eaten here before and the only reason I ate there was my kid had a school event there that night. I felt swindled honestly, your food is absolute garbage that belongs in a nursing home. I've tried their pulled pork sammich before which was pretty good, but decided to try the chopped beef sammich, yesterday. It was even better! Since I haven't been feeling all that well this week, I decided against getting a plate or platter, so no side orders with my meal; just the sammich and a glass of tea. I'm kind of glad that I did, too. ... The guy piled on about a pound of chopped beef between the bun. That sucker was stacked about a mile high! Not a fan of the pricing they have for side orders, though. They'll nickel and dime you on side items. Get the fries added to it and they'll charge you over $3 just for that. Come on, it's french fries! Who the hell charges $3 for french fries?! They don't even have chili or cheese on them! I can understand adding $3 to it if you're drownin' 'em in chili and cheese (I still wouldn't eat them that way, but at least I'd feel the $3 price was justified!) They do have a friendly and helpful staff, though (... but I ain't payin' $3 for them to smile at me. Maybe I can smile at them and get some of my money back... but I doubt it) :) read more

The manager at this location is PHENOMENAL! And I cannot stress this enough. He has the most amazing customer service and it flows throughout his staff. Every time i come to this location I have a good experience with him. On Valentine's Day they were slammed and i had a huge to go order and my 4 year old daughter fell asleep on me. He had his staff carry my food out to my car for me. The girl even placed the items in my floor board so they wouldn't slide around. Like wow!!! Turkey & Brisket were moist and delicious. Sausage is nothing special. This place reminds me of a Boston market. It's quick and fast and everything comes pre made, except for the rolls. Green beans taste straight out of the can. If you get guacamole on your salad, it's from a pre made container, it's not fresh. In fact, nothing is fresh really when it comes to the sides. We were not impressed. The Mac and cheese is bland. If you need a quick easy meal to feed a family fast, this place is great. Stopped in for lunch here last week, because the sign said "barbeque" on it. It's set up pretty much like a fancy cafeteria. You go through the line and order brisket or ribs or sausages, and then you heap on all the veggies you can fit onto your plate from steam tables. Fill up a soda, pay the cashier, and find a place to sit down. The food is not bad at all. I enjoyed my brisket. The veggies were not what I came here for, but I felt that I had to eat a lot to get my money's worth. While eating, they had some waitress-types there offering us more bread, and, later on, ice cream. The ice cream was actually really fabulous - except it had no chocolate! My husband and I moved from Ft. Worth to Burleson over 6 years ago and have found Spring Creek BBQ to be the best place for BBQ cuisine to be far better and a head above other BBQ locations in Ft. Worth, Arlington, and surrounding areas. Why? you ask. First because its great location and is an easy on and off experience. The friendliness of entire staff is a pleasant surprise. Cleanliness of food stations as well as dining areas and restrooms is impeccable. I am a CCRN by profession and know cleanliness when I see it! I had to apologize to my guests for suggesting this restaurant. I'm new to the area and had an old friend in town. I used yelp and found this place. We met for dinner were it was $54 for 3 people. That not much for dinner, but my wife as well as my guest did not finish their plate because it was so bad. I got the "famous" ribs. They were edible but definitely not worth your time. The food has good flavor but make sure you ask for fresh meat when you go. I noticed the food had been sitting on the grill for awhile and asked for fresh meat then they accommodated me.
