But Dan wasn't done, he looked at the measurements and put in an order for a men's size in extra wide trusting it would fit- and if they didn't we could exchange within 30days. Four days later, my mom put on her first pair of shoes that fit in over a year. Im in tears of thanksgiving. To see her walking in a new pair of hokas, with proper balance and arch support. She's so excited and we are forever grateful. Also, they didn't try to sell me the most expensive pair, they had an awesome shoe that was less than what I expected! Decreasing the ability for staff to service in store guests can not be the answer. Today I was in store and noticed that an item I have been stalking had been marked down. I used the scanner to confirm and it rang up a different price. I walked the entire women's section 2 times. I walked through the 'dressing rooms' that are always closed and used as a storage area twice. There were no sales associates on the floor. I asked a custodial associate about calling someone for help and he kindly let me know that they are not supposed to do that. I walked through the shoes and accessories department and there was not one associate in sight. I tried to look for a mirror to see if I could just make a buying decision without trying the items on. I had to go to the home - mirrors section just to look at the items I was interested in buying. I finally went to the front of the store and saw two people standing watching the registers. I asked one of the individuals for help in ladies, and received a , 'For what?'. I blinked a few times. I think I understood what she was asking, but that was definitely not how you professionally ask that question. After all that the wrong signage was posted. The associate helped me, but I'm not sure if they were happy about it. I ended up having to buy 2 different sizes because I had no way to really determine which size would fit. Now I have to return one of the items. Positive - The Free Assembly / Scoop buyers/designers have leveled up the options in a major way, but who wants to play a guessing game with sizing with a higher price point item. The racks have been fairly full for over a month with these items. Maybe if people could try on items they would purchase more. I'm just waiting for markdowns as this point. Do better Walmart.

I work at a public tennis facility in Georgia. We have a Tennis Tower that is approximately 15 years old that needed the throwing wheels replaced. I found the phone number for Sports Tutor on the serial number plate and gave them a call. I expected them to tell me that we would have to work with a distributor who was local, but James at Sports Tutor dealt with me directly. I was expecting to pay around 150.00 dollars for the throwing wheels, but the total cost with shipping was 75.00. Once I took the machine apart to replace the throwing wheels I also needed a motor linkage, an elevation switch, and a set screw. I called back and they never charged me another penny, not even for shipping. Unbelievable!! They shipped the parts to me for free and now our ball machine is working great again and our customers are very thankful. I can not say enough good things about how the staff at Sports Tutor walked me thru all the issues I had and how patient they were when I called. The way they stand behind their product and the support they offer is second to no one. read more

WOW!! What great service!! I've had my tennis tutor for over 20 years and it needed a complete overhaul, batteries, electric wiring, all rollers, shoots, wheels, battery charger, broken plastic pieces, etc..you get the picture. I dropped it off (Burbank office) and a very nice reception person greeted me and introduced me to Ron. Ron said he would fix it and call me at the end of the week when it was done. He got very busy and couldn't get to it. So he said he would fix it and send it to me. To my surprise is was soon fixed and sitting on my front porch. Because it was not done when promised Ron did not charge me a penny, not even for shipping. I basically now have a brand new functioning machine, good for another 20+ years!! WOW!! We have Tennis Cube for years. It is still running great! We are exhausted after practicing with the machine for an hour. The machine is made in US and it is well built. Even better than the machine is their customer service. I accidentally broke one of the plastic flap. I contacted Sports Tutor. Peter is very friendly and he quickly helps me to replace the broken flap. I highly recommend Sports Tutor. They offer great product as well as truly customer-driven experience. This might be the best customer service department I have ever dealt with. Many years ago my tennis ball machine was working sporadically, they sent the part to repair and patiently explained to me step my step what to do free of charge. Recently I purchased a second machine, a part is required that I broke and no problem, they are sending a replacement. By the way the machine is the Pro Lite, very happy with it. read more

As someone in the tennis industry, I have had great experiences with Sports Tutor. So many ball machines are made overseas and parts or service is difficult or impossible - but not with these machines. In particular, the portable models really fill a need. When my order arrived, the product was damaged and defective. The pole had two visible chips. The stage plate had a dent. The gel protectors on the stage feet were already peeling and falling off. Worst of all, no matter how much I adjust or raise the stage, when I step on a certain plate it pops downward toward the base. That's not just cosmetic -- it's a serious safety concern. To be clear, this damage was NOT caused by transit. These are obvious manufacturing and quality control issues. However, the company repeatedly tried to suggest it could have been due to shipping, which was extremely frustrating given the nature of the defects. For this price point, the quality is unacceptable. When you pay $1,800 (with $300 of that being shipping alone), you expect proper quality control and a product that arrives in excellent condition. They eventually offered an exchange -- but said it wouldn't even be available for another month and still couldn't guarantee the quality due to possible transit issues. Waiting another month for a replacement that may also arrive defective is not a real solution. That response was incredibly discouraging. What's even more disappointing is that I purchased a stage from this company three years ago and the quality was absolutely perfect. That's why I chose to buy from them again. The difference in quality now is shocking. This one feels like a complete piece of junk in comparison. After three weeks of back and forth without a proper resolution, I felt I had no choice but to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Between the manufacturing defects, safety concerns, declining quality, and poor resolution process, this experience has been incredibly disappointing. If you're considering purchasing, you may want to explore other companies. At this price point, customers deserve much better.
