My to go order was ready when I got there. Parking can be challenging. There was a long line to order so I felt happy we preordered for lake out. Food was good and big portions. Travelled well and still takes great? Lots of flavors and items.

I was craving Greek food after my Seaworld trip and found this place on Yelp. There's paid street parking in front. We did a pick up order and it was ready when we arrived. They were jamming some cool hop vibes and this place seems super chill to hang out. I got the Doner basket mixed meat, extra protein for $2, and mixed fries, my bf got the 12 piece wings. The server was super friendly. The food was fantastic and worthy of the phenomenal rating. I loved all the sauces. My plate was loaded with food. It did come with a falafel which was perfectly crisp just not my thing. I really liked the gyro meat, next time I'll skip the chicken shwarma. I loved I got the fries with all the fixings plus some lettuce. The wings were seasoned so well and the best I've ever had. This is my new favorite place.

Final decided to try Spitz in pb and I was honestly surprised. My friends and I ordered a wrap and a salad, and both were pretty good. The portions were much bigger than we expected so we didn't finish and had leftovers. They have an indoor and outdoor area and you go up to order food and they'll bring it out to u with a number. The staff was nice and the food was good and felt pretty healthy for Mediterranean street food. I will be back!

Really cool spot with vegan options within walking distance of the hotel. Service was awesome. Got a medi bowl with falafel, with quinoa, chickpeas, pickled onion, cucumber, hummus and olives. Ample portions, I had leftovers for later.

Ambiance was great! Staff was really nice too but the food was just not as authentic in flavor for Mediterranean food. Honestly the sweet potato fries were my favorite! Bowl was pretty good. I think if I go back I would check it out for a happy hour. Their deal looked great!

Service is very friendly and fast, which is impressive bc they're usually pretty busy (lots of pickup orders too). They have a solid happy hour and a good local tap list. I've tried their OG gyro twice - once w the lamb/beef mix and once w the chicken. Both so good, ingredients taste fresh, and pita is soft and warm. Quinoa salad was also well seasoned and filling. On happy hour, I believe the gyros are only $8 and the quinoa salad is only $4!

Tried the Berliner wrap and the street cart wrap with regular fries. The fries were a bit salty, but everything else tasted great. The staff was super friendly and helpful while ordering and even checked on us after we got our food, which you don't usually get at a fast-food-style spot. My favorite was the Berliner wrap--very generous portions and great for sharing. Tip: sign up online with your phone number to get a buy-one-get-one offer. Great location!

We were so happy that we came to Spitz on a weekday between 3PM-6PM because they have an incredible happy hour! My husband and I got $9 gyros and $3.50 pita strips and humus! I saw a sign about Tuesday specials and those are really great too. Service was super fast! The seating was nice where you can sit at high top chairs, a booth, or a standard table with wooden chairs while getting fresh air for the open garage door. There is cool eclectic decor with neon lights and vibrant art on the walls. We really loved the gyros! The pita bread is so good. The hummus with the pita strips was good too. Great prices especially during happy hour! It was super fast from when we got our food and staff were really amazing. Highly recommend!

I was in the area and needed some lunch, and saw this pop up on Google Maps. It was a Tuesday and around 3:30p, right before Christmas Eve. The place was empty; the cashier was super friendly! There's a Happy Hour special on weekdays starting at 3 through 6. So my partner and I got the OG Gyro, Spitz Gyro and the fried pita strips, for a total of ~$30, including tip. They've self-serve water, I appreciate not having to wait for water service, in case they're busy. The music is lovely, there's no vocals so it feels more vibey and lo-fi. No need to talk over the music. Okay but the food: do not skip the fried pita strips. They're so good, the texture reminds me of beignets, fluffy and a tad crispy! The seasoning is delicious, I wish there were more after I finished them. The OG Gyro is exactly what you'd expect: fresh lettuce, tomato, feta, very fresh and healthy with beef and lamb. The Spitz Gyro is more savory and saucy, I thought of it as tomato-y with fries and beef and lamb.

Casual spot in PB for healthy modern "Mediterranean" food. Berliner bowl: It has a lot of veggies and pickles, the flavor profile was quite sour even though I added hummus to it, comes with extra sauce which I didn't feel it needed. Mediterranean wrap w/ beef & lamb: My husband got this and he liked it, also thought it was quite healthy Sweet potato waffle fries: These were soooo good! I think these were a little less greasy than waffle fries from elsewhere, comes with a great sauce as well. Overall I wouldn't come here if I were craving actual Mediterranean food, but I would stop by for a healthy bowl or some sweet potato waffle fries.

Overall, solid place! I enjoyed their food with my favorite being the gyro pita sandwich. Street cart doner wrap was fine but maybe too much veggie for me. Wings were standard, nothing special. I love that they offer a variety of sauces at no extra charge - my favorite was the garlic aioli. Vibe was great on a Friday night. Lots of people just hanging out with friends here. Parking is a little difficult since it's PB, but just pray that you get lucky finding a free spot on the nearby residential street. They offer an email sign up promo (either 50% first order or BOGO free so try to search for that promo link to create an account with them).

Went to some local bars and was underwhelmed with the food and vibe. Walked in here and immediately knew I was at the right place to curb my appetite and relax with some good vibes. I ordered the Spitz wrap and a beer. Man that was absolutely amazing. My wife ordered one of the bowls and I ended up eating more of her bowl even though I was full just because it was so good. Staff was super friendly and came to check in multiple times. If you want some delicious Mediterranean food and good vibes then come check this place out. You won't regret it. read more

We had a group of 6. Everyone ordered something different and we were all pleased. I recommend the pita strips, which are well seasoned and come out warm with a side of hummus. We got the Doner Basket with the three meat combo & subd rice instead of fries and my husband got the Mediterranean Wrap with Zesty feta and the sweet potato fries. Spitz PB was such a fun spot! I got the Berliner falafel wrap, and my husband got the Spitz gyro with sweet potato fries and garlic aioli. Everything was so flavorful and delicious! My wrap had a great portion size, and the flavors were on point. The tzatziki sauce was also so good, and the garlic aioli with the fries - a must!! The staff were super friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. They have a ton of seating indoors and outdoors, plus fun little extras like games to play - we ended up playing Uno while hanging out. They also have a bathroom in the back, which is always a nice bonus. Parking can be a little tricky, but that's pretty expected for Pacific Beach. That's something you don't come across as often anymore, and it definitely deserves recognition. It was amazing! The food is healthy Mediterranean which is like no other place around here that is open late. They have good happy hour deals. It's super cute and artsy. It's close in location to many of the local gyms around here too. The service was outstanding - we had Aiden take care of us and he went above and beyond. Their Street Cart fries are a must have (fries were crisped to perfection) and the Street Cart and Mediterranean wraps were really good. This has become my go to spot since they opened. Great location in PB and is walking distance. The restaurant has a really nice atmosphere with vibrant lighting and excellent customer service. The owners are so friendly and treat me like family every time . My favorite is the street cart fries with beef and lamb. The portions here are massive and easily shareable. By the time they added the fruit, the coffee, the surcharge for using my credit card, the tax and the tip, the total came out to over $36. That's a lot for a stack of pancakes and a cup of coffee, especially in a restaurant that is not full-service. So, while I enjoyed my meal, I can find gluten-free pancakes at other places for a lot less.

Back again after a long time!! I used to come here a lot back before covid but haven't been back…read moresince then. The name has changed but the potato dish is still the same! It's still as delicious as it used to be. Simple place, simple and friendly service, solidly good food. Glad to see that some good things can actually stay good for a long time.

Might be the best Mediterranean food I've had in San Diego!…read more The beef wrap was perfect! And the chicken tikka bowl was also amazing! Everything tasted so fresh and clean. You can tell it's all homemade, even the amazing desserts. The staff were so friendly and gave amazing recommendations. It's a small place with outdoor seating and only street parking available, which can be a pain in Mission Beach, but worth it for the food. I'll be coming back!

Compared to the gyro bowl you don't get a ton of chicken with it. The tzatziki and mint sauces - ORDER EXTRA!! They are small sizes, you will wish you had more. Both bowls we got heavy on the white sauce. My only note is "heavy of the white sauce" was very much a California heavy, not an American heavy, but it's ok I'll stay skinny! The falafel was not for me. The crisper outside was great, but the inside was mush and overall tasted like eating grass. I couldn't finish it. Will try something different next time based on the good reviews of the wraps!

My toddler also loved the spaghetti alle vongole and the mushroom pasta. I don't recommend the wild boar pasta and the pizza was just okay.
