Large order of thin cut fries w/ garlic aioli
    Drew N.

I'm only giving Spitz 4 Stars because this review is based solely on the food. We ordered on the Spitz website and our food was delivered via Uber. Had the OG Gyro and Thin cut French Fries. The Gyro was substantially filled with fresh vegetables, tasty and tender chicken. Large order of perfectly seasoned fries were filled to the top of the bag. Fries came with two containers of delicious garlic aioli perfect for dipping your fries in. A great take out experience from Spitz!

This place is sooooo good. Lots of amazing deals going on throughout the week and the food is absolutely delicious. Ordered a wrap and a bowl to split with my boyfriend and it was more than enough food for one sitting. Lots of awesome sauces and even a great selection of drinks. Our bartender was great! I'll definitely be back.

Tried the Berliner wrap and the street cart wrap with regular fries. The fries were a bit salty, but everything else tasted great. The staff was super friendly and helpful while ordering and even checked on us after we got our food, which you don't usually get at a fast-food-style spot. My favorite was the Berliner wrap--very generous portions and great for sharing. Tip: sign up online with your phone number to get a buy-one-get-one offer. Great location!

I was in the area and needed some lunch, and saw this pop up on Google Maps. It was a Tuesday and around 3:30p, right before Christmas Eve. The place was empty; the cashier was super friendly! There's a Happy Hour special on weekdays starting at 3 through 6. So my partner and I got the OG Gyro, Spitz Gyro and the fried pita strips, for a total of ~$30, including tip. They've self-serve water, I appreciate not having to wait for water service, in case they're busy. The music is lovely, there's no vocals so it feels more vibey and lo-fi. No need to talk over the music. Okay but the food: do not skip the fried pita strips. They're so good, the texture reminds me of beignets, fluffy and a tad crispy! The seasoning is delicious, I wish there were more after I finished them. The OG Gyro is exactly what you'd expect: fresh lettuce, tomato, feta, very fresh and healthy with beef and lamb. The Spitz Gyro is more savory and saucy, I thought of it as tomato-y with fries and beef and lamb.

Had to come back and update my review because a good happy hour just got even better. After a long day in the sand, there's nothing better than craving some solid food and a cold drink and this spot has already been a go to for just that. The happy hour was already great, but now they've added $20 pitchers, which honestly takes it to the next level. Good food, great drinks, and the kind of laid back vibe you want after a beach day. When you find a place that keeps making an already solid happy hour even better, you've got to give them credit!

Casual spot in PB for healthy modern "Mediterranean" food. Berliner bowl: It has a lot of veggies and pickles, the flavor profile was quite sour even though I added hummus to it, comes with extra sauce which I didn't feel it needed. Mediterranean wrap w/ beef & lamb: My husband got this and he liked it, also thought it was quite healthy Sweet potato waffle fries: These were soooo good! I think these were a little less greasy than waffle fries from elsewhere, comes with a great sauce as well. Overall I wouldn't come here if I were craving actual Mediterranean food, but I would stop by for a healthy bowl or some sweet potato waffle fries.

Overall, solid place! I enjoyed their food with my favorite being the gyro pita sandwich. Street cart doner wrap was fine but maybe too much veggie for me. Wings were standard, nothing special. I love that they offer a variety of sauces at no extra charge - my favorite was the garlic aioli. Vibe was great on a Friday night. Lots of people just hanging out with friends here. Parking is a little difficult since it's PB, but just pray that you get lucky finding a free spot on the nearby residential street. They offer an email sign up promo (either 50% first order or BOGO free so try to search for that promo link to create an account with them).

Spitz is the replacement eatery for an uber popular brunch spot in the heart of the PB neighborhood. This LA-founded chain serves Mediterranean street food as opposed to a breakfast-focused menu like its predecessor. The decor was changed with a bright splash of pink color to the awning and interior. The seating arrangement remained intact with a long high-top table in the middle of the dining area and then several smaller tables along the sides of the room. The covered front sidewalk patio was also retained. Döner wraps, gyros, bowls and salads were the main food categories. Adding a side and drink to make it a combo cost an extra $7. I picked a Remix Bowl with chicken as the protein and rice as the base from the list of four bowls/salads for my to-go order. The other ingredients were dill-tahini quinoa, tomato, cucumber, roasted corn, feta, harissa, kalamata olives, crispy and marinated garbanzo, cabbage slaw, and lemon herbed tahini dressing. The portion size and quality of the ingredients were good. A cup of hot sauce was also provided which I didn't use as the dressing added sufficient flavor. Garnet Ave is now saturated with so many Mediterranean/Middle Eastern spots that it has become difficult to stand out from the crowd. If you prefer gluten-free/vegan/vegetarian fare, then Spitz does have a section of the menu dedicated towards those types of items. For the price and quality of my bowl, I gave a rating between three and four stars.

My Son and I visited Spitz 3 weeks ago . Got seated near their open big window, plenty of tables to sit on. My Son and I had our Combo meal ( side + drink ) he got the SIDE STREET CART WRAP with a side of SWEET POTATO FRIES and LEMONADE and I had the FULL-SIZE ZA'ATAR CRISPY WINGS Both were delicious. Wings are not that big but they were good. Their Homemade sauces are also good. Service was good, our waitress was always at our table making sure we had everything we needed.

I had a mixed bowl with falafel... omg. It's SO GOOD!! While waiting for my to go order, Aden gave me a sample taste of their strawberry and margarita wine smoothie, bc unfortunately, I can't have it to go. It was so refreshing and doesn't taste too heavy on the alcohol. It's quickly become my favorite restaurant here in PB! So refreshing, filling but not heavy at all. My very first visit here was with my bf, and we shared a mixed bowl with lamb/beef and had fried pita. Again, SO GOOD!! We both left feeling satisfied but not full.

Amazing vegan options! I was very excited to try Spitz after learning that they had multiple vegan options - and even a vegan section of the menu. I placed an order for take-out, so I did not stay very long, but was still able to experience the fun atmosphere in my short time there. I loved how saucy and satisfying the Vegan Gyro was! The Vegan Doner Salad was so flavorful and the fried pita strips were out of this world! The only "con" would be that I asked for regular fries and got waffle sweet potato fries instead, which turned out to be a pro because they were some of the best fries I have ever had! In fact, I ordered them again the next day!

I came here on Saturday around 2 PM. My friend lucked out with parking right in front of the restaurant, and I was able to find street parking just a couple blocks away, which wasn't bad at all. The spot is open and welcoming, with outdoor seating, indoor tables, and bar seating. I grabbed a seat at the bar so I could watch the football game. My server was beyond friendly and gave great recommendations. He was super attentive making sure I had napkins, silverware, water refills, and checking in to see how everything tasted. Very personable and easygoing. I ordered the OG Gyro with chicken, and it came out in under five minutes. It was absolutely delicious. A little messy, but very fresh and hit the spot. You can also add a side and a drink for only seven dollars more, which is a great deal. Overall, the pricing is solid, the portions are generous, and the food quality is excellent. The staff is friendly, the vibe is fun, and it's a great place to hang out. I'd definitely come back. Bonus points for daily specials and weekday happy hour too.

This place is incredible. Great food. So many yummy sauces. The combo meal deal comes with delicious sides. My quinoa salad was to die. I'm obsessed with this place. The gal who served me was super friendly, checked in frequently, and went above and beyond even offering to put my coke in a to go cup. My new fave fast casual spot for lunch in PB hands down. Ate here 4/24/26

I ended up here after trying to get into another busy café nearby, but the lines were out of control, and I wasn't in the mood to wait. Juice Kaboose had no lines, so I decided to give it a try, and I'm glad I did. I ordered a green juice packed with antioxidants, and it was delicious fresh, vibrant, and exactly what I needed. I also tried the turkey ciabatta sandwich which came with potato chips that I ended up throwing out. I wish they would have asked me if I wanted fruit. Oh well. . It was good overall, though I would personally recommend toasting the ciabatta a bit more so it's crispier, ensuring the lettuce is fully fresh with no wilted spots, and making sure the avocado is extra fresh with no discoloration. With those tweaks, it would be even better. The menu itself is impressive, and they have a wide variety of juices, smoothies, and healthy food options to choose from. The only downside for me was the weather; it was raining lightly, so I wasn't able to sit outside to enjoy my breakfast. There's no indoor seating, but they do offer several outdoor tables for nicer days. Overall, it's a great grab-and-go spot for healthy eaters, especially when you want something quick, fresh, and nourishing without the long wait.
