We ordered 2 bowls for lunch and they were fantastic! Fresh, quick and most importantly delicious!. The shop is tucked away next to the goodwill on Garnett and the ambiance is enerjetic and inviting. Service is excellent! She answered all our first timer questions. Highly recommend!

We came here for brunch 10/10!!!! Service was great very attentive. Easy parking . Drinks were good. The machaca and chia pudding were my favorite. Would definitely go back.

Not sure why this place is reviewed this high because I don't think their food is that good. I had a Mexican cashew chipotle breakfast sandwich, it tastes really plain, I feel I can easily make one like this from the things in my fridge at home. It's not really worthy the price. The coffee also tastes so so. The only thing is good was the smoothie that my friend ordered. The store was very small and squeezed, and the sunlight was so strong to sit by the window.

Delicious plus charm...nothing not to love about this spot on the main drag of Garnet Ave in Pacific Beach. My friend and I picked one of the 5 tables outside and had no problem carrying on a conversation with the quiet traffic passing by. Lunch was delicious. She had the chilaquiles with an egg and I had the machaca burritos. Great flavor. Beautiful presentation. And can I rave for a moment about the strawberry lemonade? I would literally come back just for the strawberry lemonade. Bill for the two of us with tip was $67 which felt a little high but I knew I was paying for quality. Will return!

The food and shakes were so yummy. The seating area was cozy and the music was fun. Customer service was great.

Cute little spot on garnet. Second time now. Food is delish in nice portions and fresh ingredients. Very calm spot with both indoor and outdoor (small patio). Order at the counter and they bring it out to you. First time was after a yoga class. Next was with my partner for a quick off day brunch. Coloring papers were cute :) only thing is it is on the pricier side for a half self serve

Had a simple meal at Armonia, which had a very warm inviting feel. There was an aesthetic feel inside along with very clean plating/presentation. Almost had a bit of an LA vibe Ordered the huevos rancheros since I was feeling a heavier breakfast. Have definitely had better versions elsewhere. Wasn't a fan of the mushed beans (not what I was expecting) and felt like the portion of potatoes could've been larger. But with that said, it was still filling with the potato cubes, beans, and two eggs topped with salsa. Wish I tried the burritos instead!

Super impressed with the food and coffee here!! Loved it and will definitely be returning soon and frequently!

On the search for the best breakfast burrito in SD I ended up here in Pacific Beach. I loved this burrito and the salsa that it came with. I ordered the breakfast burrito with all the vegetables and I added turkey bacon. There's just a few downsides to this place. Firstly I wish that they had the option of adding crispy potatoes to the burrito. Not sure why it isn't an option but it's not a big deal. A bigger concern I have is--why is the burrito so expensive? I paid $24 for this before tip and if I had added avocados it would easily have been $30 altogether. Even though it's delicious, that's exorbitant. Still, I was very happy with the quality of the ingredients and would return just to know I am eating a clean, tasty, and flavorful breakfast burrito.

Probably the best breakfast burrito i've ever had. The perfect size, not greasy at all, but definitely on the pricier side. I got the build your own and added avocado and turkey bacon. the turkey bacon added lots of flavor and definitely would get again next time. The guac and chips were honestly pretty bad and had no flavor. the chips tasted stale and the guac had no flavor. the latte was honestly really good. it is seasonal.

Only ordered a matcha as I had already eaten. However, the service was quick and kind. The matcha was tasty as well as beautiful. All the food people ordered around me looked amazing, and the people talked about it being delicious. It was small inside, but it was clean and cute. There was patio seating as well. Excited to go back to try their breakfast tacos!

I told my friend the food was worth the wait. After an hour we got sat at the bar and our first server was friendly. There was a transition of servers (not sure if he left for the day or went on lunch) and the new server would check on everyone at the bar except us. My water remained empty for most of the meal. The bartenders in front of us were clearly having a conversation and I didn't want to interrupt. My friend claimed her Irish coffee was sour? And didn't realize cheese came on a side of eggs (she should've checked when she ordered but the server never clarified either). We weren't checked on during the meal until the bill came and by then we just wanted to leave. I ordered the fluffy pancakes and found an egg shell inside. The cracking of eggshells in my mouth made me loose my appetite. We paid (still tipped of course) and left. It was great the first time and mediocre the second time. I prefer consistently in service, especially if I'm waiting an hour to be seated.

We had spent most of the day around Bankers Hill and decided to grab an early dinner at Books & Records. Getting reservations was easy, but from the moment we walked in, the ambiance alone already had us sold. The place was still pretty quiet when we arrived, and to our surprise it was happy hour, so naturally we ordered a bunch of items off the menu along with drinks. Everything was ridiculously good. Not one miss. What really stood out though was the attention to detail. The host brought us a complimentary glass of champagne after hearing we were celebrating our anniversary. Small gesture, big impact. Stuff like that matters. As the night went on, the restaurant filled up, live music started playing, and the whole atmosphere just came alive. Our waiter never rushed us once, which made the experience feel even more intentional and relaxed. We were able to actually enjoy the moment instead of feeling pushed through dinner service. Good food is one thing. Great hospitality is another. This place gave us both. Next time we're in San Diego, we're absolutely making it a point to come back. Lovely spot. Lovely experience.

She recommended the bloody Mary flight so did grab that to try! We also ordered the biscuits and gravy to share and orange juice. The portions are so large! So I am glad we decided to share the biscuits and gravy but let me run down each thing. Bloody Mary Flight: Honestly every single one was amazing. My favorite was definitely the pickle Mary! Everything tasted so delicious and was garnished beautifully. Well worth the 22 dollars. Biscuits and Gravy: Absolute perfection of comfort food. The biscuits were so fluffy and well seasoned. The gravy was also soooo good, just like my mom makes. The sausage in it was also cooked so well and juicy. I've never tried mashed potatoes with the biscuits and gravy but it worked very well! Orange Juice: Not a fan really, not pulpy enough and I wasn't a fan of the flavor. Overall this is definitely a must visit! I will definitely be back.

"Over medium" eggs came barely cooked, still had clear egg gel floating around. The table next to us had the same issue. The fried chicken, which is beautiful looking, was strangely flavorless. Another table was also talking about this issue. Bacon was way overcooked as well. I also really dislike when food timing for a table is way off. I rather it stay in the kitchen under a heat lamp and come together rather that spend 5 minutes staring at my food being polite. So, for a fun "wow that's a ton of food" experience this is it. But I much prefer quality ingredients and attention to detail and flavor over unfinishable portions at a premium price point ($100 after tip for 2 ppl).
