I had the horchata latte and it's a definitely a must try! It's got a good balance of cinnamon, coffee, and creamy horchata flavor. I'm a sweet drink person so this was perfect amount of sweetness. I got the coconut bliss bowl and it hit the spot! Fruits were fresh and I like my bowls with half coconut and half acai :D My friend got the bagel with cheese, egg, and bacon and said it was really good. It's a cute little shop with beach vibes. The horchata latte is A MUST!!! Holy moly was it good!! We also got the banana latte and beachside affogato which were both delicious as well! For food, the avocado toast was perfection! The bread was the perfect amount of crispy; not soggy but also not so hard it hurts your mouth. And the best part of the whole experience was the baristas who were so nice while also working so hard! Came here one morning for drinks with a friend! Located near Mission Beach, this little spot is adorable. Some tables outside, inside, and little bar seating inside. The menu includes juices, smoothies and breakfast items. I ordered a large The Funky Mix (Dandelion, Pear, Celery, Pineapple, Kale, Green Apple, Lemon, Ginger and Coconut Water) as the coconut water was as much needed. Stopped by before going to the zoo. The barista/cashier was so friendly and welcoming. I ordered a regular hot coffee with caramel and the Mio Caro Caro with prosciutto. So much avocado, so many fresh greens and the egg was cooked to perfection. The bread was delicious as well. Hubs had their Acai Bowl and loved it as well. Super cute spot! Bummer, arrived for a bite at 12:50 on a Wednesday and they were closed. Luckily it was only a 5-minute walk, so I didn't waste too much time. The hubby and I ordered an acai bowl and a coconut bowls which were both delightful and flavorful. They were packed with fresh fruit, granola, honey, and he added peanut butter to his Acai bowl. Service was solid, they were quite busy but churning out orders. The shop itself is cozy but they have seating at the window and a few small tables inside. Best view of course is the ocean which is just a block away, so grab a bite and take it to go and sit along the wall and take in the waves. read more

Best (beef) empanada I have ever had. No exaggeration. It wasn't dry and the onions/bell pepper/spice combo was literally perfect. In addition to the insanely delicious empanada, we ordered the Zen Breakfast Burrito, the Avoca-duh Toast with a fried egg, and the Doing Me acai bowl. At first I was concerned that our eyes were bigger than our stomachs and we had ordered too much between the two of us... but we finished every single crumb. The establishment itself is super small but also super cute and well decorated - very "insta friendly", if you will. The the service was great and the team was very kind. We ordered an iced Chai Latte and La Vida Mocha. The La Vida Mocha was good, but the Chai latte not so much. It tasted like it was from a powdered pre-mix and did not have much flavor. I got more graininess than anything. Perhaps ordering a hot Chai would have alleviated the issue, but for upwards of $7 per drink it was not worth the price in my opinion read more

This place is the epitome of a perfect cafe. At this point I've tried most of their menu and I have nothing bad to say. From their fresh juices, to their empanadas, to their perfectly cooked eggs on their breakfast sandwiches.... I can't get enough. They have some table outside and the interior is very cute and thoughtful. The only negative I could say is that I wish it was open past 2:00 because I could have this for breakfast lunch and dinner! The only positive I have is that the food was delicious. Waiting over forty minutes for it and COFFEE is unacceptable; regardless if there are only 2 people working. Take a cue from the ever popular coffee shops and get the coffee out asap, it's why I'm there! Focusing on getting coffee out simultaneously with the food is never going to sustain business. Running to the back to come out empty handed doesn't work either. Neither does stopping to take an order in the middle of making someone's coffee. Complete a task. It hurt to watch it for as long as I did. The lady next to me finally received her order, coffee was scalding, so she removed the lid and spilled half her coffee on the table and floor. She asked the gal for a towel and of course she dropped everything to come out personally to clean the mess, but failed to offer to remake the coffee. The woman screeched at her husband "we're leaving" and STILL UGH. My kids left before my coffee and food were ever served. Buzz kill if you're trying to enjoy yourself. read more
