Tried this on a Saturday and they were surprisingly not busy. Ordered a 50/50 acai bowl to eat on the spot. Pretty good but I would've preferred the California bowl with peanut butter. They had plenty of seats but limited parking on the streets and some reserved parking on the sidewalk. The Cafe isnt in the building, its on the north side of the building where the parking is. I got the Ocean bowl for my wife and a couple of others to try and they enjoyed it. The fruits were fresh and all the flavors meshed pretty well. Definitely recommend on a hot day. The seating area also has shade if you need to cool off for a bit.
Great açaí bowls and Vietnamese iced coffees! Loved how generous they were with the PB that I added to mine. Both of the adult bowls were generous with all the fruits, too. My husband said he wished the açaí was a bit sweeter like some of our spots back in LA that we frequent, but I preferred the taste of this place's because that means there was less sugar lol. Our 2.5 y/o enjoyed the plain fruit bowl. The mango in his bowl was perfectly ripe and soft. He also loved running laps around the tables on the AstroTurf without his shoes on lol.
My boyfriend and I got açaí bowls and they were amazing! The bowls tasted so fresh, especially the fruit on top. The bowls were both reasonably priced as well. The cafe is located in a cute area with a few tables to sit. The woman working behind the counter was sweet and our food came out quick. Will definitely be back here soon!
Cafe Bella's sister cafe. This place has more food options than cafe Bella and different varieties of açai bowls. We love cafe Bella for their açai bowls and we found this place to be no different. I really enjoyed the açai smoothie and we also really liked the ocean bowl açai bowl - the base tasted more like pineapple. Overall super tasty and the fruit toppings were very fresh. Service was very very friendly and informative. Definitely recommend

We were looking for a quick bite on our way back home to AZ and we got the jackpot with this cafe! I Everything we ordered was delicious! We tried the smoothies which were super flavorful and natural tasting. The avocado bagel was amazing, they have tons of options for bagels and bagel sandwiches! Coffee was insanely good and was loved by my tween coffee connoisseurs who ordered a Snickers Latte and Caramel Macchiato. They have lots of milk alternatives and gluten free options, even gluten free bagels! The Ocean bowl was so so tasty! They have different sized bowls so you can try a little of everything. The caprese empanada was delish and we each got a jalapeño ham and cheese stuffed croissant. They have lots of seating outside to enjoy the beautiful Cali weather with shade. They are dog friendly. Service was quick and friendly. We will definitely be back!

It was pretty busy so took a little while to get my bagel sandwich but they got the latte out quick. Some seating is available but all outside so recommend going during good weather! Close to the beach so took my order to go and enjoyed breakfast at the beach:)

The spinach cheese stuffed croissant was piping hot and cheesy with sun dried tomatoes! The soy chorizo egg and cheese empanada was delicious and tasted similar to real chorizo. Finally the cold brew with vanilla was strong and refreshing! The boys were friendly and had great customer service. The outdoor seating was so nice for a quick bite.
This place is cute! We came for bagels, acai bowls, and coffee and the bowls and coffee were really good! I also got the California bagel sandwich with turkey cause their eggs are premade not fresh. But the service was friendly, but there were only 3 people working and we had a group of 4 so it took a little bit but I'd visit again for the acai bowls!

Situated on a side street in OB it has lots of outdoor seating and limited parking. It feels like a walk up, OB casual cafe. I went on a Monday morning and there were no staff. Waited for about 5 minutes and was greeted by a gentleman who took my order I got a decaf, dirty, iced vanilla chai. It was good but not a lot of chai flavor. Not overly sweet which is good I also ordered the ham and cheese stuffed croissant. I think they just warm it up. And I think it was overdone. The cheese had come out and was burnt, which is OK cause I like burnt cheese. But the end of the croissant was hard and edible. Overall it's a great option if you're local and looking for a cafe that's walkable with lots of seating. But I wouldn't go through the effort of finding parking to visit. To the business owner: I have a handicap placard that was clearly visible in my windshield. But I'm happy that you showed other customers who are as a business owner and why they should not frequent your business. As you can see from my picture the croissant was not edible. A super convenient location especially since the first 2 cafe/restaurants were closed on that street for some reason. It was a nice day to sit outside anyway and I really wanted some fruit. The fellow who helped me was so helpful and personable.. which contributed to this 5 star rating. They had a good looking menu. I ordered the Ocean bowl and I loved that it wasn't too sweet. On a rainy morning I decided to stop into this outdoor cafe They were getting drenched but had the happiest smiles as they helped me with my order. I had a coffee and Stuffed Croissant Sandwich. The sandwich was huge on a perfectly warm and flaky croissant I sat under an umbrella and enjoyed the rain and watching the passersby. Overall a lovely place to stop in for coffee and brekkie. Cafe OB is an outdoor kiosk located in a corner spot on Bacon St. and an alleyway. They have some outdoor seating with umbrellas set up over some artificial turf. You may have to search for some parking in the area as there is not much available. The staff is nice and they get orders out quickly. Our favorite so far is the California Bagel sandwich. The California Bagel comes with your choice of toasted bagel, cream cheese, turkey, bacon, avocado, tomato, and sunflower seeds. We used to always get a bagel sandwich similar to this, but that place stopped making it for whatever reason. This one has even more toppings which takes it up several notches! We have also tried the Ocean Bowl. This has blended mango, pineapple, blue spirulina sorbet (which gives it it's cool blue color) and is topped with blueberry, raspberry, banana, pecans, chia seeds, honey, and shredded coconut. This was good, but melted fairly quickly and it wasn't that hot outside at the time. We tried the iced carmel macchioto for our morning kick start and it was delicous. It's a bit on the sweet side if you don't have a sweet tooth but it was still tasty- we can see this as being more of an afternoon/dessert drink when you need that afternoon pick me up and and craving something sweet. It's definitely a treat that we will get every now and then. If you end up frequenting this place for drinks, make sure you get a stamp card! read more

The place is cute and I got good coffee drink. BUT, my lunch was the Avocado Bagel and it was incredibly disappointing. It was supposed to be a toasted bagel with slices of avocado with chia seeds. Cold I toasted bagel, with the tinies smear of avocado. See pic for what I received. read more

Okay so I am a big açaí fan and go to juice bars all the time. This is must stop if you like a good bowl or smoothie. The California bowl is the best if you like peanut butter in your bowl. The most I have ever had in a bowl and sooooo good. Always some in every bite. Atmosphere is good chill comfortable outdoor seating. read more
Hey if you're hanging out at dog beach & looking for a coffee... I highly recommend this cute cafe ! Easily one of my favorite coffee shops in the OB area. And I've tried a lot ... OB Plants & Coffee, Newbreak Cafe, Cafe Bella... There's a couple other places I want to try before leaving the area too ANYWAY This place is adorable. Plenty of seating. Best pricing for americanos iced or hot I've seen around. And the most flavorful too. This espresso is so rich and smooth. The barista made it exactly how I wanted. Will be back asap ! read more

Lovely stand alone Brazilian cafe that's a nice walk from Ocean Beach. We ordered a coxhina and acai Bowls. Coxhina is my favorite Brazilian pastry, think croqueta meets buffalo chicken cream inside. It was a little drier than my usual cafe in SF but still love a coxhina. The Acai Bowls hit the spot!! They have different bases you can try. Such a nice find around from the house we rented for a quick getaway! The bagel sandwiches are delish and the acai bowl was so fresh and flavorful.
