A walk-up coffee stand near the beach. They have some specials it seems like, so my teammates and I ordered a few drinks. On my order, we had two iced Matcha Lattes with cloud foam. The barista let us know these don't come sweet and recommended we add blueberry syrup which was great. I had my iced latte with coconut milk and my teammate had his with regular milk (sus). They offered oat milk as well. Also, the barista wrote cute notes on our cup, which was sweet except one said "good morning" but it was 3pm lol. Generous cup sizes and quick service. Draft Coffee is next to Fit Gym, so when I go to this gym location I usually stop and get something. Or sometimes I walk the boardwalk and grab a coffee for my walk. I have gotten a cortado and a vanilla latte with oatmilk. My usual go to's for coffee. I took a friend yesterday and we got some some of the food. Let's just day the avocado toast was so delicious I am still thinking about it. And my friend got the oatmeal which was an actual large serving for what we expected. All was delish. From the moment we walked up the young lady had absolutely no personality and no customer service. We asked her if they had cold foam which they show on their new drinks on IG and she quickly said "we don't have it". I asked "do you not have it at the moment or ever " and she rudely said "we don't have it". Ok you didn't answer my question, so I asked again and said that it showed it on the pictures and on IG so I was genuinely confused. She then said they just do that for the pictures. Coffee is the liquid smell of fresh ground heaven. I'm always on the hunt for it. So who would refuse grabbing coffee on the boardwalk?!?!! Great location being situated next to the Belmont Park and the Mission Beach boardwalk. Love the decor and reasonably priced for the area. If coffee isn't your thing, they serve alcohol as well. The girls working were efficient but customer service was not a high priority. We ordered a chai latte with almond milk and a standard mocha, both way too sweet for even the tooth fairy visits. Such a bummer because it would have been nice to take in the beach view with a great cup of coffee. Not all who wander are lost. We are just looking for good coffee to have in our hand. read more

I had high hopes. Placing my order was fine because the young lady working that counter was pleasant, friendly, and patient. Picking up my order however brought the experience down to level frustration. I've been waiting 30 minutes for a toasted bagel and açaí bowl. Still waiting as I type. When I picked up my coffee the girl working the delivery counter had a serious attitude. I asked who the coffee on the counter was for and she huffed. Located on Mission Beach this is a great place to stop if you're walking the beach in the morning. It is attached to Draft restaurant but only a small window operates for breakfast. They have coffee drinks, pastries and some breakfast items. The cold brew coffee was good and so was the acai bowl. Wish the seating area had a view of the water. read more

Sadly, draft isn't what it used to be. I'm not sure if they switched owners or what but their food is more expensive and smaller than it used to be. They didn't add everything that was supposed to go into the breakfast sandwich, maybe they were out I don't know. I would say the $15 burrito is more like a $10 burrito. Their cold brew coffee is very good at least. I used to also rave about their breakfast burrito on Saturdays when I come to mission beach but not now :-(. We also waited 25 mins for the breakfast burrito when we were told 10 mins. And then waited an extra 5 mins for salsa that never came so we left. I'm a barista, I get it, it's a difficult job sometimes but frankly, this place is never busy enough to explain the constant negative attitudes of the girls who work here. I come here a lot thinking the service would be better each time and I'm trying to like this place but no. Ask for a glass of water, and get an eye roll. Make a mistake on an order, and get berated by the cashier for having to issue a refund. I liked this coffee kiosk located attached and right outside "Draft" Mission Beach the bar a grill. Although I enjoyed the Italian Roast coffee and the double chocolate with walnut cookie from Bread and Cie Bakery, I was disappointed that on the weekends they do not offer breakfast, except for brunch in the restaurant. That being said, they offer breakfast at the kiosk Mon-Fri with offering s such as, breakfast burritos, avocado toast, fruit bowls, etc. Like I said, the coffee was good and was a rather robust roast. Another words, it was stronger than I would of liked, but it still was good. The cookie was outstanding and I appreciate Draft fro carrying such terrific products form Bread & Cie. This coffee shop is right on Mission Beach for easy access during your stay in San Diego! It's reasonably priced (normal expensive cup of coffee cost) but glad their prices were hiked up more since they're so convenient and really good coffee! We stayed nearby for a week and came back here twice! Both times we got an oat milk latte with white chocolate in it. Really, really good. My boyfriend told me he would only have a few sips but he ended up loving it so much he's the one who suggested we go back! Besides it being right on the boardwalk and next to the beach, it's also right by all the games and rides area. So you can grab your coffee and have plenty to do walking around nearby! read more

And when I asked for a lid for my coffee, I got really bad attitude from the lady working there and she eye rolled me so hard her eyes went to the back of her skull. I have to say I wasn't expecting much from this place because when I asked questions about the breakfast sandwich the worker didn't know what it had. I took a shot and ordered it. I was blown away by the flavor! The sourdough was butter toasted on a flat top and the sandwich had a scramble, almost resembling a frittata. What I really enjoyed was that cheese slices were placed on the bread and then the scramble was folded on top of them. This kept the oil/butter from the scramble from making the toasted bread soggy. It was a filling sandwich too, easily shareable between two people. The country potatoes were mediocre, hash browns may have worked nicer instead of the potatoes that were noticeably precooked and then warmed. The iced latte was standard. This front facing setup is part of the South Draft Beer just downstairs from the Cannonball Restaurant above. Their Coffee choices are limited and focused more towards the more popular choices you hear about more often. They offer Hot and Ice Mochas and Lattes, Americano, Cappuccino & even Kambuchas. Cup sizes range from 16 and 20 ounces for hot and 16 and 24 ounces for Iced. Our Cashier offered a free pastry though I think it was the number of drinks I ordered based on price or because it was 45 min to close. Either way it was a great gesture and I took the offer. I get iced americanos all the time at SB so I know how it should taste. I was sad bc I'd been looking forward to a yummy coffee all day and when you pay $5.50...so I decided to ask her to replace it...which she kindly did...I then realized she had used milk, not half n half, in my first drink and when she replaced my drink with a hot one, she didn't add the half n half, ask if I wanted any, or tell me that they were out of cream and did I want milk instead.
