What made this worse was the employee's attitude--smirking and appearing amused rather than providing basic customer service. This was not a request for anything free. It was a reasonable, paid customization that other Starbucks locations have accommodated without issue. Because of this interaction, my husband and I chose not to purchase anything and left feeling disrespected--on the first day of our 30th wedding anniversary.
