Came here to try a new Mediterranean place and I was not disappointed. The server was super nice and helpful. The dining room is pretty good size for being right in the middle of PB. My wife and I both got wraps, I got the spicy feta and she got the street car doner wrap. They were both outstanding! My daughter got the gyro wrap and the pita bread was the star of the show. I recently discovered Spitz and I'm already hooked after visiting two days in a row! The food is incredibly fresh and flavorful. My husband and I shared a Mediterranean wrap, hummus and falafel, and quinoa salad. All of the food was delicious and fresh. The vegetables in the wrap and salad were so fresh that they were crunchy! We spoke with one of the owners named Chris and he grew up in Pacific Beach and I feel like since he is from PB he really put a lot of love in the business. The menu offers many great vegan and gluten free options, as well as a diverse draft beer selection and delicious wine and sangria. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is quick and friendly (Gabby and Cara were so sweet, informative and friendly) adding to the overall experience. We sat at the bar and sampled the various sauces that they make fresh each day. It was hard to pick a favorite sauce since they were all flavorful. The döner basket with sweet potato fries and the lemon herb vinaigrette is my current favorite, but you honestly can't go wrong with anything on their menu. Been a couple times and their food is pretty good but they need to figure out their customer service. Went last week and they said they were no longer honoring the BOGO deal which turns out to not be the case. Tried to order over the phone which they said they couldn't do and just to come in and it would take 5 minutes. Go to order in person and it took over 30 minutes with only 3 other ppl there and four employees just sitting around. Probably not going back but if you are lucky enough to get the BOGO (unlike us) it's probably worth a try. read more
