I am obsessed with this place. They use the most freshest ingredients and are very authentic. I love their baba ganoush and the gyro salad. High encourage you give it a try.

This is the first restaurant where my husband started liking Greek food LOL. Our visit was back in April of 2024. They have pretty mural decor inside the restaurant, but we sat outside because it was such a nice sunny day. He started with their Greek coffee, which they pour from a copper cup at your table. We shared the grilled halloumi, hummus, baba ghanouj, mini spanakopita appetizer, beef kabob plate, and the Greek combination plate. Everything was so fresh and delicious. My favorites were the kabobs, gyro, and hummus! Service was friendly and attentive as well.

Picked up food to go, got a mix of what they have to offer - chicken kabob, sfagnagk (cubed meat) sandwich, gyros sandwich. The gyros and rice (oddly enough) were really good and full of flavor. The meat had no flavor and I had to douse it with salt and was better after that. Chicken kabob was very dry, I wouldn't get it again.

Kafta plate, filling meal but the meat was so dry!

Super filling plate but dry Kabob. We got the beef and kaftan Kabob plate. First thought off the menu was wow, this meal is pricey! When you get the plate, ok, that makes sense, because they're super generous with the portion. The ambiance was nice, staff was friendly, reason why it's 2 stars is the food is meh. Sure, rice, salad, pita, all ok. But what was supposed to be the star, the kafta Kabob for me was dry, so dry. My husband liked his beef Kabob and I didn't get to try his meal so I don't know how his meat was. I came out of there super full, but taste wise specifically for the meat, disappointed. I'm not saying they're bad, but, if I get asked for a Greek place to check out, I'd remember this place and will remember to not recommend. Definitely wouldn't go back here again.

Meh. I don't need to come back. I'll start with what is good--the gyro meat is delicious. They do THAT well. The rice is also good. The olives have pits so watch your teeth. The pita is store bought. The Salad is dry. The hummus is super bland. I ended up using my Kirkland hummus from the fridge. The tzatziki was super watery. The chicken was painfully dry and tough.

Came in as 4 with my family on Labor Day. This was also my first time eating Greek food, so it was exciting. Fast and friendly service. Food was delicious and ample for 4.

Absolutely fabulous local restaurant serving the best Greek gyros around! Love the cute atmosphere inside the restaurant! They have adorable little tables inside and out, with very modern lights! Servers are quick and responsive and make excellent recommendations off their very large menu. Highly recommend to order a side of their garlic sauce! It's creamy and delicious with the gyros! Definitely worth a stop next time you don't want to make dinner!

The food was good and service was fine considering I ordered takeout. I'm knocking off a start bc the prices are borderline offensive.... $30 for a combo plate for one chicken kabob skewer and some gyro meat is wild! Why are 3 falafels $20?

I went to Greek Corner Cafe on Christmas Eve with my friend and was warmly welcomed by the owner and his team. As for the food, I never would've thought to mix meat and hummus until coming here. It tasted amazing and paired very well. While you eat, there is a hand-painted mural of Santorini to look at. It truly feels like a slice of Greece in Carmel Mountain!

A cute little Greek restaurant with very authentic flavors. The gyros sandwich is massive and has such a great price for how big it was! I recommend getting the baba ghanouj as it was a wonderful side to pair with anything really. The portion sizes are pretty big so you could comfortably share it with another person. A great little Greek restaurant to stop by if you're craving some Mediterranean up in north county!

We used to go to this place before Covid because their Kebob and Salads taste perfect, not salty but tasty. I'd rate that past experience 5-star. This time, two reasons why we gave this place only 4 stars are: 1. Over-priced for a neighborhood restaurant at Rancho Bernardo/Poway area. A 2-skewer Kebob plate for almost $30 is way too much considering that we just ate at Baba Kebob in Miramar and their 2-skewer Chicken Kebob plate is around $20. 2. So many comparable Greek/Mediterranean restaurants in the area that offer the same items at reasonable price. This place has to offer something special and unique to be able to justify their premium price. A 4-star rating is still okay but to get a 5-star rating, I recommend adding speciality items in your menu that can justify why you can charge more.

This place is so good! I can't believe I've only recently come in to try it. Came here for a post-hiking meal and was blown away. We were craving Mediterranean food and saw this nearby, so we decided to check it out after some good reviews. It's tucked away in the back of the shopping plaza, very unasuming. We walked in and were quickly seated. We ordered a few items to share and the food came out pretty quickly - we were astonished by the huge portion sizes (relative to our expectations, at least). You get so much food for the price you pay, and it's all delicious! Big bang for your buck - I can't wait to go back!

Over priced for very little portions & barely any veggies. Had two pieces of grilled onions in my lamb pita sandwich.

I've been a loyal customer of Total Wine primarily the Mission Valley location, but my recent visit…read moreto the Carmel Valley store left me extremely uncomfortable and disappointed. On my way to San Marcos, I stopped in to pick up a few cigars. While browsing the Scotch section, specifically looking at a Dalmore 15, an employee approached me and greeted me. I politely responded and made it clear more than once that I did not need assistance. I prefer to shop independently, and if I need help, I will ask. Despite this, the employee continued trying to engage, ignoring my clear and respectful responses. At that point, I was already feeling pressured and just wanted to check out and leave. While waiting in line, the same employee approached me again and redirected me to another register, saying he could help me there. I agreed, expecting a straightforward checkout. Instead, the interaction became uncomfortable and frankly bizarre. He asked if I needed a cigar bag. I responded clearly: "Yes." Rather than proceeding normally, he paused, stared at me, and acted as if he did not understand my response. There was an awkward silence where he simply looked at me in a confused and almost performative way. At that moment, I had to say: "I think my English wasn't that bad saying 'yes' after you asked if I need a bag." His response was dismissive: "Oh no, I asked if you need a cigar bag."! This interaction felt unnecessary, patronizing, and inappropriate. What should have been a simple transaction turned into an uncomfortable experience that made me question whether I was being subtly mocked or tested over something as basic as saying "yes." This happened around 3:33 PM on a Saturday. what should have been a quick stop after a long week turned into a frustrating and unwelcome experience. For clarity, the employee's name was John. I expect better from a company like Total Wine. Customers should not feel pressured while browsing, nor should they be made uncomfortable during a basic checkout interaction. This kind of behavior reflects poorly on the store and needs to be addressed seriously. I hope corporate reviews this and takes appropriate action to ensure customers are treated with respect and professionalism.

They constantly overcharge compared to the prices listed on the floor. I've bought the same item…read morethree times over the past year, and each time I had to show a photo of the shelf price to avoid being charged more. If you're not paying attention, you might end up unknowingly "donating" extra money to Total Wine. It's baffling that they don't cross-check the shelf tag with the scanned price, even after the mistake has been pointed out so many times. So take a photo of every price tag--or be prepared to "tip" them inadvertently on your way out. Also, their ID policy is asinine. If you're with your spouse and they forget their ID, even if you have yours, no alcohol purchasing for you. But if you're with a child? No problem, come right through, the purchase is yours!
