Gyro & shrimp plate w/double salad
    Natasha U.

The best Greek food around! Customer service always goes above and beyond. The food is always delicious and made fresh & Hot. I really love the Greek goddess statue in the front of the store. The gyro plate is my favorite, but when I want something lighter I go for the shrimp kebab plate.

We went to Larry's Santorini for an early dinner, and this little hole-in-the-wall spot truly impressed us with its amazing Greek food. I had the chicken salad, and my dining companion had the barbecued ribs--both dishes arrived promptly and were absolutely delicious. The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, adding to the great experience. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable, especially compared to many restaurants today. We had a fantastic meal and will definitely be back!

Great food and even better service, will be coming back soon to try more of the menu!

    Gyros burger special
    Kim M.

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. Busy little strip mall on a popular corner, but parking was easy. We ordered gyros salad and gyros burger special. The gyros was good, but I prefer more seasoning. The tzatziki sauce was bland. The salad was fresh and there was plenty, along with the accompanying bread. It could have used another slice or two of gyros and maybe more than one olive. The burger was great. Loved the bun and seasoning on the fries. The service was very good. I love that there was a steady stream of customers, both eating in and picking up. It looked like a place that has been a part of the Poway community for many years and has a great number of regulars.

Best Gyro in Poway, tastiest with plenty of meat. Supporting local business is really important to the community.

Inside the restaurant, there are plenty of seating and there is also outdoor seating. I ordered the Gyros Plate for takeout which came to $28. Evan was kind enough to provide an extra tzatziki sauce and utensils when I asked. One thing I found surprising was the 3.89% credit card fee so bringing cash would be a better option. The portion of the gyro meat was generous, but the pita bread and the rice portions felt a bit small by comparison. The gyro meat itself was very salty which lead me to reach for water throughout my meal. The rice pilaf was flavorful and ended up being my favorite part of the plate. Unfortunately, the Greek salad was dressed with too much vinaigrette making it soggy and slightly unpleasant to eat. The olives tasted old and had a bad aftertaste. The tzatziki sauce is also very watery. For the price of the meal and my experience, it didn't meet my expectations. The food quality felt short and I don't plan on returning. This will be my first and likely my last visit.

We got there around 11:15 and the lunch rush hadn't hit yet. Our order was taken promptly and the cashier (who also brought us our food later) couldn't have been friendlier. It only took about 10 minutes for our food and it was piping hot and fresh. Yours truly had the Pikilia, a sampler of chicken, gyro, rice, hummus, dolma, wings, salad, pita and spanakopita. It was a ton of food and I mowed that bad boy down. I'd go back.

I asked what time they open and she said in 10 minutes. I asked if I could look at the menu while I waited and she said yes. While I'm looking, another person walks in (seemed like a regular--he didn't order, she just told him his total and he paid). Since it was my first time, I tried to make conversation and asked what he usually gets. She redirected me with "what questions do you have on the menu?" I explained it was my first time and I was just curious since he's a regular--I figured his order might be a good place to start. She answered, I said thanks -- and I was gonna order what he ordered but because the interaction felt weird I wanted to further check if maybe I can turn it around .. so then asked what she personally likes. She said it "depends on what you want". Fair, but the tone felt off. I put the menu down, and she continued with "it depends on my mood, etc sometimes I want meat or only vegetables I work here 5 days a week." (also fair), but overall the interaction just wasn't pleasant or welcoming. I was excited to try somewhere new, but ended up saying thank you and walking out. Now I'm here writing this one-star review... and still hangry

The steak and chicken kebabs were cooked to order and were incredibly tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. Honestly, they're in the top three kebabs I've ever had anywhere.
