It was my coworker's birthday and he picked this spot for our office lunch back in June of 2024. We shared everything family style. I tried the dolmadakia, pork soulvakia, Olympic salad, a lamb shank, and the beef, chicken, and gyro platters. Everything was tasty and flavorful!

Definitely a hole in the wall spot for Mediterranean food! They have a small parking lot in the front and back. I wanted something light for dinner so I ordered the agvolemono soup and a chicken kabob. My first time having that soup and it is so refreshing! The chicken kabob was so tender and juicy too. Our servers were super friendly and always checked up on us.

I've heard so many great comments about this place so I had to try it. We Went for lunch and had the 1/2 chicken plate and the salmon plate. Plates have large portions. Everything was so delicious!!! The wait staff work together to give great service to everyone. We went during lunch time and got in right away. Almost all the tables were full with people. Inside is decorated very much like a Greek hotel. Very authentic. I loved everything about this place. I'll be back.

So good and so authentic! Usually when I get gyro meat or kebabs somewhere else it's dry but here it's so moist! I even had leftovers and they heated up perfectly. I really enjoyed the service and atmosphere. Our servers were so funny and they checked on us constantly. There is parking in the front of the restaurant making it easy for customers. Also the menu had a lot of really interesting things I never tried! Definitely a new go to spot for me for Greek food!

This is our favorite Greek restaurant. We always start with the addictive saganaki. Having flaming cheese as an appetizer sets the tone of a fun meal experience. I ordered the House Special Chicken. It was fresh, flavorful and so delicious. My wife had the chicken kabob platter with peas. She loved it. Service is fantastic and friendly. This is Delicious with a capital 'D'! Parking can be tight during lunch and dinner time. Great for groups and kid friendly. Enjoy!

Co worker wanted to come here for lunch. It was 4 of us and we were able to pick our own table. The waitress came right away and we ordered. I got the steak sandwich with a salad. It was decent. The steak wad thin but had flavor.

We really enjoyed our time here due to the atmosphere, friendly employees, especially our server Jaime, and of course the food and wine. It was my first visit and it definitely won't be the last. The restaurant offers three different options for dining- inside, on the enclosed patio, and outside seating in the front of the restaurant. The saganaki was very flavorful but the Greek wine was excellent!

ordered the kokkinisto (braised beef). they brought out a full plate of greek salad first - normally i don't like raw onions but these were rly sweet. then they brought out 3 big chunks of beef w spaghetti noodles on the side (note to self, macaronia is Not macaroni ). the beef was tender & the savory cinnamon reminded me of taiwanese beef soup. service was super fast. & even tho it was a hot day out, the "inside" terrace was still comfortable due to the fans & shade

Cute little Greek restaurant in North Park. Their parking lot is tiny and a terror to get into while dodging other cars, would probably just park in the nearby residential areas on the street in the future. We ordered the saganaki appetizer which is a block of cheese they light on fire as they bring out, very savory and rich, comes with a side of pita. A bit too salty/oily for me, but it was to be expected. My partner got the moussaka which was SO good, very flavorful with distinct layers and a rich bechamel sauce on top. I ordered the gyro and spanakopita combo w a side of hummus. The gyro was flavorful but a little dry, and the spanakopita was so soggy, not one bit of crisp which was disappointing. The hummus was good, helpful because the plates are a little carb heavy. Most plates come with pita, pilaf, and a tasty side salad. Seems like you have to order the right item here. Service was friendly and accommodating, the place is well-decorated and on theme. They have an "outdoor" seating area in a big tent if you prefer. The inside is a bit more casual, with staff standing at cafe counter and some tables for seated diners.

Came here with friends for an early dinner. Parking is not the best but that's the only negative. To start I ordered Saganaki which is Flamed Kasseri Cheese with pita. Lemony, cheesy goodness. I ordered the Super Greek Combo which is Gyro, Chicken Kabob and Spanakopita with Rice, Salad and Pits for $22. It was yummy! Filling but I didn't bloated or stuffed. Had to get a side of falafel cause I'm a fatty! The table ordered dessert. The carrot cake and the banana chocolate chip cake were ok, nothing special about it. But the Baklava was flakey, honey goodness a def must have! The cheesecake was another HOMERUN! Homemade daily and so good! Then we tried the Galactoboureko which is a custard baked in filo smothered in honey syrup. Now the true gem of the whole experience was our server Jamié! He killed it! Funny, courteous, knew the menu, made helpful suggestions and didn't rush us! Who ever runs the Olympic Cafe should give him a bonus! The patio was nice spot cause it's not crowded, it's breezy and chill spot.

    Gyro & Beef Kabob Plate

I like to pride myself in knowing great restaurants to eat at and I'd like to trust in other "foodies" recommendations... however Olympic Cafe was unfortunately downright disappointing. The reviews are so high, others have commented how delicious the food was but I came here yesterday and ordered lunch to-go and it was so sad. My boyfriend got the Ribeye Steak Sandwich with french fries, and I got the Gyro and Beef Kabob Plate. The steak sandwich was deplorable. The meat had ZERO taste, the tomato was mushy, my boyfriend was so sad. My Gyro and Beef Kabob Plate though had flavor. The meat for sure was seasoned well, but the rice was bland, the side salad even with dressing was also bland. I think I should have known because the restaurant was filled with older, seniors that the food might have been under seasoned to be health conscious. Total it was $45 for these two, I had even tipped even though it was take-out but we didn't get napkins nor utensils with our to-go order. I definitely will not be coming back, and left this review with 2 stars since at the least the food didn't make us sick.

Much improved. This was the most enjoyable Pastitsio I've had in a long long time. Quite excellent 4 sure! Please see photos, light and airy tasty and delicious. Very happy

Servers spoke Spanish, food was delicious (I had the Chicken Kabob plate) & Donna's desserts are so tasty, had an extra one to go!

Amazing service! Servers spoke Spanish, making it easier for many of us. Food was delicious (I had the Chicken Kabob plate) & Donna's desserts are so tasty, had to take an extra one to go! Clean & organized restaurant, very beautiful!

The food is was great and one of my favorite spots when I'm craving middle eastern wraps- I did built your own pita so of course I like the ingredients. I loved my pita bread (it's much different from the Greek style if you haven't tried it before!) and the enjoyed the steak in particular. It had a lot of warming spices (nutmeg and cinnamon maybe?) and the flavor is pretty unique! I added bell peppers, pickled cucumbers, lettuce, tomato, red onion, tahini sauce, and garlic sauce. I also got a piece of falafel - I always gotta judge a place by their falafel and this one was crispy on the outside and soft in the inside which was perfect. Next time I need to try the halloumi cheese stix with fig jam! Place was very clean and the decor was nice. I also love the Finjan coffee spot next door.

The staff is also consistently warm and kind, which makes the whole experience feel good from the moment you walk in. My only real frustration is with the wait times on online orders, and it's significant enough that I have to mention it. I work 10 min away and only get a 35-40 minute break. The app consistently quotes around 20 minutes- but honestly, 20 minutes shouldn't even be necessary. I've stood there and watched them make a bowl. It takes about two minutes. Other similar restaurants have my order ready in five minutes, consistently. So when the app quotes 20 and then I still end up waiting at the 20 minute mark on top of that - in a nearly empty restaurant - something is off. Today this happened (I hit the 20 min mark with no food), and I had to go up and ask them to make my order. This isn't a one-time thing either. It's happened enough times over the years that it genuinely deters me from coming here on my break. To their credit, there was a stretch where it seemed like they had it figured out, so I know they can do it. I just wish that consistency would stick. If you're not on a time crunch, absolutely go. The food alone is worth it. But if you're relying on a quoted pickup time, build in a buffer- a bigger one than you'd think you'd need.
