Absolutely delicious wraps with a very unique flavor and large portions. The falafel is also some of the best around. This spot while further away from my house is now in my regular rotation. One gotcha is unfortunately the fries don't travel well, so if you get it to go, be aware. read more

Taste buds are going crazy! This place is so fire and they load you UP. The staff is so friendly and NEVER forgets a sauce. You know when you will ask for sauces and low and behold they forget, and it ruins your meal? Could never be Spitz. Their sweet potato waffle fries with garlic aioli could cure cancer. And their drinks be POURING. Nonetheless, the place is amazing. P.S. They also have amazing baklava ;-) My Yiayia would be proud. read more

Spitz just opened in PB and I signed up for their buy one get one promo. We got the Mediterranean wrap with chicken and the gyro with lamb and beef. I really liked the wrap, the crispy chick peas are very good in it. The atmosphere is nice and the service is friendly. I'll be back, maybe to try happy hour. read more

A new restaurant opened in PB. It's a perfect chill spot, reminds me of those restaurants by the beach in El Nido island in the Philippines. The wraps are massively filled and flavorful. The service was fast, and the staff were friendly. Both potato and sweet potato fries are delicious. We love the sauces Harissa and Zhoug eventho they're not hot as expected. read more

I had a mixed bowl with falafel... omg. It's SO GOOD!! While waiting for my to go order, Aden gave me a sample taste of their strawberry and margarita wine smoothie, bc unfortunately, I can't have it to go. It was so refreshing and doesn't taste too heavy on the alcohol. It's quickly become my favorite restaurant here in PB! So refreshing, filling but not heavy at all. My very first visit here was with my bf, and we shared a mixed bowl with lamb/beef and had fried pita. Again, SO GOOD!! We both left feeling satisfied but not full. read more

Great food and excellent service. Love the ground great happy hour prices and good beer selection

Spitz in Pacific Beach just became our new mid-week date spot. We went in for a quick lunch and walked out fully impressed. Started with the Street Cart Wrap combo; fresh veggies, crunchy fried lavash chips, tzatziki, garlic aioli... basically a flavor parade. I ordered mine without onions because those are not invited into my life. Added the quinoa salad to create the illusion of balanced adult life but ended up loving it. ‍ As for the Hubby The Original Gyro Combo, and let me tell you: that pillowy pita deserves its own TED Talk. Soft, fluffy, warm like a carb cloud gently hugging all the fillings. Zesty feta, Berliner sauce, tzatziki, tomato, all wrapped up perfectly. We added seasoned fries on the side, crispy and wildly hard to share evenly. And the best surprise? They have table games. We played Sorry, I won (obviously), and I plan on reminding Hubby for the foreseeable future. Overall: yummy food, good vibes, and a fun, easy mid-day, mid-week date with the hubby. Good bites, good laughs, great service and even better bragging rights. Forgot to snag a pic of menu and Hubs Gyro, he ate it too fast! ‍ 10/10 would absolutely go back. read more

My wife and I just moved to PB from Dallas, TX, we have been looking for Healthy Option Restaurants for after our workouts to get in our salads and protein in! We just tried Spitz today and Wow, we had no idea what we just walked into, of course we read the reviews but it was all amazing. Tje reviews are all legit! The vibe, the retro decor and old school beats were all crazy hip! The service we received from Aiden was Top Notch, stellar and great personality! He helped us identify and recommend so many great options for us to try, everything we had was a 10/10! So flavorful, fusion mixed Mediterranean foods, all we can say was wow WOW! You all gained two more new frequent weekly eaters! read more

I've ordered from them twice and both times they have forgotten my drink, very annoying especially when they are charging so much for a soda

This place was very chill, we were looking for a good dinner spot and we found it! All meat is halal so it was a plus since my sister does not eat pork. Every bite was full of flavor, I got the Doner Salad and I did not even have to put any dressing because it was just that good without it. My sister got the Zesty wrap and she LOVED it (she is a picky eater). We also got the Doquitos to share and they did not disappoint. Service: The staff was very nice and it took about 15 minutes or less to get our food from when we ordered. Can't wait to go back! read more

I loved the doquitos and mash up of a rolled taco and gyro I would say. The Berliner bowl was huge and was so delicious. Food was delicious. we got the Street Cart Wrap and the Gyro. Owner was very cool. Inside is nice and clean. Will be back!

We ordered delivery and it was ok. The fries and Greek salad were the best items. We also tried the street cart wrap and berliner wrap which were ok, not our favorites. Not enough meat for how much wrap there was. I also didn't like the cabbage. It was very overpowering. The sauces were mediocre, not my favorite. The garlic one didn't have much garlic flavor zhoug wasn't spicy. I really liked the tzatziki though. I would try this in person again to see if we get a better experience with fresher food. read more

I always check out Yelp for restaurants when visiting places...ran across Spitz - PB. Let me tell you that it didn't disappoint. The guy taking our order had awesome energy & gave us some recommendations. My wife got a bowl with beef & lamb. She said it was exactly what she needed - filled her up, while not being too heavy. I had the OG with beef & lamb and a Greek salad. Both were delicious. I also had a local IPA that was refreshing. I didn't expect to get the quality of food at such an affordable price. If we lived in this area, this place would definitely be in our rotation. read more

We had originally come to PB today to get the Pierce the Veil pizza at Prince St. However, they were apparently sold out, so we decided to try something else for lunch. Walked down to Spitz and super happy that we did! It was our first time here, we ordered one of the salads and the loaded street fries with beef/lamb. Also was stoked to see they had my favorite Pure Project Pilsner on tap! When our food came out, our server (Rachel) noticed that my fries had come out with chicken instead of beef/lamb. She offered to have it remade, but I declined. Since it was my first time there, I was cool with trying the chicken anyways. Took a bite and was not disappointed, the chicken was super juicy and flavorful! Rachel came back to check on us and offered to bring out a side of beef/lamb. I declined, but I really appreciated how apologetic she was and that she was trying to make it right. I wasn't expecting such excellent service, so I just wanted to give her a huge shoutout for how much she cared! Overall the food was delicious and the service from Rachel was exceptional. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the neighborhood! read more

The Berliner wrap genuinely changed my opinion on Mediterranean food. I thought it wasn't my thing, turns out I just hadn't had it from the right restaurant! Aidan was super nice host, gave me a good recommendation, and spoke Spanish. The vibes were great; good music, open air, and the pacific beach area. Cheap drinks and lots of specials too, so a great place to start a night out. read more

Loved the seasoned fries and pillowy pita bread on the OG gyro. They played some old school hits

We absolutely fell in love with everything about "Spitz" from the ambience to the food everything was truly amazing. The owners are literally so kind, and all the staff had amazing customer service. The in house sangria was OMG the wraps, the bowls, etc was all so bomb, there was nothing we didn't love, honestly. Oh and make sure to order dessert, we had the Baklava Nut Roll and ordered more to take home, so delicious! read more

First things first, service was great, hard to find nowadays. Secondly the happy hour is a happier hour than anywhere else in the area. Me and my girlfriend love to come in for the sangria and the doquitos are out of this world. definitely a must while you're here. Also the bowls are out of this world, I brought my mom here once and she always asks me when I'm gonna take her back to get that "Mediterranean bowl". Love the food and drinks, I highly recommend stopping by here if you're in the area. Hell even if you're not I'd make your way down to try the food! read more
