This shuttle service is absolute shit. We booked them to pick us up from our hotel at 9:30. We got down there at 9:25 and they weren't there. We waited a little and they still didn't show up so we called. They said they got there at 9:15, waited 5 minutes and then left. They said they called us the day before to tell us they'd be there early but that's a bold faced lie we never got a call from them. And why would they show up early anyways if we booked them for a specific time? Don't ever use this shuttle service, you're better off paying for a Lyft or Uber. read more

They were the chosen transfer service for a package I purchase through Costco. No call, email, nada confirming from them. No one was at our baggage claim. I called and the woman sounded as if they had forgotten our flight. Then she says to walk to the very end of baggage claims and I go there, expecting someone and tells me to follow signs for the shuttles, so I do but she failed to mention to use the back exit and so I had to deal with a downward slopping exit, yellow safety bumps, and the heat instead of the direct exit. My person who was supposed to meet us was no where to be seen, she was hiding between or behind one of the vans. Utterly frustrating after a long flight. The driver was very professional and got us there as promptly as possible after a handful more people got on. Went out on a whim and decided to use Speedi for both our hotel and return to airport trips. It's so conveniently located where Foreign Arrivals are, and with the stress of wanting to not be at an airport any longer, that got the best of us. Honestly, I have no complaints. We hardly had a wait time for the shuttle, and the driver got all of our bags in and out. We were dropped on the step of our hotel. And the morning of our departure, they came right on time for us. I travel and always allow extra cushion just-in-case time, and SpeediShuttle helped make my travelling to and from quite smooth and hassle free! They saved me over thirty dollars, due to not catching a cab, and possibly hundreds by not getting a rental car; dealing with the price, and parking headache on island. The driver was very friendly, and knew his way around. He gave the other passengers information about parts on Honolulu, and got us all to our hotels with no extra hiccups, and briefed us on were the shuttle would pick up for departure. Returning to island or any future trips, i will definitely be using Speedi Shuttle, after this experience with them in Honolulu. If you've been to Island before, or have no interest in going on the other side of the island i recommend Speedi. I love Speedi Shuttle...they stopped airport runs a couple of years ago but I was SO happy to see they are back to "normal". Recently we had a party of 10 going to the airport at 5am on 7/27/2021. I did not worry as I know from past experiences they show up on time ...he did!!! We returned Aug 1 late evening and, again, the van was front and center!!! Booked a round trip transfers from the airport o 0 9/29/2021to the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort. Speedi Shuttle was a NO SHOW. Ende d up having to take a taxi and spend another $40. Now they refuse to issue a refund. I would not recommend this service. I understand mistakes happen. But do the right thing and issue a refund. When I called the next day to report the no show. I took SpeediShuttle to and from the Hilton Village from the Honolulu airport, and it was a decent experience both ways. Pickup at the airport was a little haphazard. I'd checked in with one porter and was then called by another porter who thought I hadn't arrived yet...I think they need to work on their communication with each other, but other than that, it was fine. Fortunately, too, the Hilton Village was the first drop-off destination. I was getting stir-crazy after an 11 hr flight, and the traffic wasn't helping!! It's helpful that Hilton Village has their own SpeediShuttle concierge desk where you can schedule pickups! Usually, you can't make a reservation online for less than 24 hours in advance, but I was able to stop by the desk on the way up to my room and make a reservation for the day of (just a few hours prior to my reservation time, actually). I think there are a few other options that are cheaper than SpeediShuttle, but for around $30 roundtrip, the door to door service is a good deal. read more

We took this shuttle both ways from HNL to Waikiki hotels. Yes, there was a mix up for where we were supposed to wait for our shuttle so it left without us but they got us on another shuttle anyways. On our way back they were very prompt and it was actually a really classy party bus that took us back. Clean and prompt. read more

Do not know about the problems other Yelpers have claimed to have had with SpeediShuttle but i was verfy happy with my service. At first, I read about Hawaii23 on TripAdvisor. When I tried to make a reservation with Hawaii23, they would not respond and when they did--the service "was full" on Super Bowl Sunday afternoon. Which turned out well for my anyway since I then went online and booked a reservation with SpeediShuttle. They charge your credit card immediately for the bookings and send a confirmation email. When I arrived at Honolulu Airport, I was directed to a pick-up area for shuttles, limos and group travel. .Imagine my surprise when I limped downstairs to find the area still decorated with a welcoming for the recent Pro Bowl! There i A SpeediShuttle employee is in the area and you check in with him or her. They will tell you to go have a seat and your name and hotel will be called when the next Shuttle is ready to go. I only had to wait a few minutes and I was on board. The shuttle driver was very accommodating to my bad leg and saved me the front seat which was easier to get up in than the back of the van seats. The service drops at all Waikiki hotels and it was kind of nice to watch as all the travelers get dropped at their various locations. I made sure to tip my nice driver. On the way back I called the toll-free number to confirm my pick-up ride back to the airport. The customer service person acknowledged my reservation back and sure enough the SpeediShuttle van pulled up right when they said they would. Again, the driver was nice about helping me get in and out of the van with my bandaged leg. The drivers all seem to be very personable older men who make every effort to be pleasant and welcoming to the tourists. Many will offer tidbits of interesting local lore or tips on what to do or where to go. I applaud SpeediShuttle for having a good business model that allows the average visitor--such as myself--an ability to get from Point A (airport) to Point B (Waikiki hotels) and back in an affordable and timely manner. 5 YELP STARS for that! read more

Shocked, we frantically called the SpeediShuttle office, the recording (boasting about the 'great service') went on and on for 27 minutes before being answered. By then we had to arrange for alternate transportation (at additional expense) or miss our flight. Also, on the trip from HNL to Liliuokalani Gardens (Res. SP6108617 @ 10/7/2022), it was disconcerting to see that the driver was texting while driving. For many years, we have been pleased with the service. That's why we continued to book it since at least 2012. But now, with this experience, we will always use another one and recommend doing so to all of our family and friends in addition to posting warnings on social media and BBB. We were picked up 1.5 hours late from LIH and did not receive the leis I ordered and pre-paid for. Speedishuttle did provide a private car for us to get back to the airport however my pre-paid driver tip did not transfer and I paid out an additional trip to our driver (who Speedishuttle had contracted with). I have called Speedishuttle at least 4 times and sent 3 follow-up emails to give my direct feedback and request a refund for the leis I ordered but did not receive. Awful service.No sign or anything for pickup barely found the guy after asking around and for departure email said pickup was 3 hours before departing time which was at 320 pm meaning pickup should be at 1220 pm. Shuttle came at 1155 am (not even sure they came) and claimed they called the hotel room and left a message (which they didn't because we wete in the room at the time). Garbage service should be banned from operating. Please stay away and use uber/lyft. (My travel agent booked it or else if I saw the reviews I would've stayed away). The shuttles are clean but they are not the cheapest . It took them over 50 mins to board us into the shuttle. If you are a group of more than two from Honolulu airport to Waikiki , please enquire taxis as well as they might cost you about the same and may be much quicker. Terrible, terrible company. I am a frequent traveler and always hear to steer clear from this company for their reasons of always being late, but never had my own experience with them until today. Nearly got run off the road by one of their drivers while on my way to work today, I was driving normally on the freeway and this driver was driving like a maniac and ran my car halfway off the road into the shoulder lane. Come along for the ride. I've used this service numerous times and each time never disappointed. Well maybe that once, get to that later. They offer tours packages but I have only used their shuttle services from home to HNL and back. Prices are based on distance. For a round trip from Ewa to HNL is around $95 (not including tip). When I lived in Salt Lake it was $30. You can phone or use their website. Their website isn't very friendly. The login button is hidden and I could never find the logout button. I just close the window hoping my info is stored. You do get a confirmation number and a call the day before pickup. They are always waiting for me 3:45am in that big huge van of theirs with a smile. I swear I could be 10ft tall and still have head room. Add a could more seats and you got a Grayhound bus. They load your bags, open the door, and off you go to your terminal. As stated, never had a problem except once. They forget me when I arrived back from a scheduled trip and I had to wait 30 mins for a ride. And no I didn't get a discount. I was too tired to argue. Probably good for them because I wasn't a yelper at the time. Overall four stars. Great on getting you to your destination except that once and website could use work. First time trying SpeediShuttle, and was very happy. Reserved our round trip before our vacation last week; total was around $61 ($30ish one way for 2 people with 2 bags). The shuttle had more room than the Roberts busses, and was cool and comfortable. Our ride from the airport was great! Driver was really friendly, gave everyone recommendations to save money, and a little history. We did have to wait a little because one of the other riders decided to have lunch instead of being on time, and they had to leave him behind. The ride to the airport involved picking up several riders. Took around an hour to pick up people and make it to the airport, but we arrived with more than enough time. We were each dropped off at our respective terminals. Our driver this time wasn't very talkative, but seemed mindful of our upcoming flights. He took side streets to get around faster. I have 2 recommendations: 1) take an Uber/Lyft if you do not want the hassle of a *shared* ride, or plan accordingly and 2) confirm the hotel's address after your reservation (ours had the wrong one) read more

Arrived at Honolulu airport and no-one there to collect, rang the assistance number given - four times but you just get put into a pre-recorded message with music in the background. No - one picked up even after being on hold for 10 minutes , finished up getting a taxi from airport to hotel. Paperwork says ring AT LEAST 24 hours before departure to confirm collection, rang tuesday evening and had the same charade of being on hold , someone eventually answered the phone { third attempt each time on hold for at least 10 minutes } and said they couldnt give us a pick up time as the dispatcher hadnt " done the schedule yet " - remember we had to ring up at least 24 hours before departure and this is a downtown hotel that they must collect from several times a week if the company actually exists. We were then asked for our room number and told they would ring wednesday evening with the collection time for early thursday morning { 9.20 departure international } and leave a message Needless to say we never received a call and when checking out we checked with reception who never received any message. When I was planning our trip to Hawaii (Oahu & Maui), I contacted our hotels for a suggestion regarding transportation to and from the airport. Both hotels we stayed at suggested SpeediShuttle. One hotel actually references SheediShuttle on their website. Upon a quick Google Search, I was able to find SpeediShuttle quickly with good reviews. I always get nervous when booking shuttle services that aren't provided by a hotel. I appreciate quality and comfort. SpeediShuttle did excellent. From the online booking experience to the actual shuttle service. We had four transports scheduled with SpeediShuttle and every transport was on time with well cleaned vehicles (masks required - time of travel March 2022) and friendly professional staff. It was nice to get email notifications regarding our upcoming transports as well as phone calls confirming our pick up times. Overall, great experience and would recommend to anyone traveling to Hawaii. They are clearly a reputable company. read more

Picked us up on time from our hotel, but had a miscommunication with dispatch and had to turn around to get other folks. Took us an hour and 15 minutes to get to the airport, leaving us only 1 hour and 40 minutes to check in, get through security, and get to our gate! (Mind you, we were also traveling with an 18 month old) I was crying while getting off the shuttle, as lines were extremely long and I just knew we would miss our flight. Chose this shuttle company on our recent trip to O'ahu. As soon as we landed, I received phone calls confirming our pick up location. We were immediately greeted at baggage claim and escorted to our shuttle. We then waited for other parties, from other flights with similar timeframe arrivals. 20 minutes later we were on our way, but the driver was called to another terminal to pick up one more party. Finally leaving the airport, drop off is closest to furthest hotel. Ours being the last, at the Beach Marriot, we arrived safely after an hour and a half shuttle ride. Pick up from our hotel to the airport was pleasant. They picked us up about two and a half hours prior to our flight departure. Pick up is furthest location to closest to the airport. Thieves! Avoid these crooks. Arrange an UBER or LYFT or a regular Taxi instead. The Speedi Shuttle (better known as "Seedy Shuttle") driver (Big local Hawaiian guy) stole my wife's very clearly marked Big Black Bag containing her most valuable and beloved jewelry and clothes (our 6th or 7th bag that didn't see since we were super jet lagged) that we left inside his shuttle bus as I unloaded what I thought was all of our luggage. My wife's entire jewelry collection (years of collecting that stuff) was in that bag. And so were all the clothes she's carefully selected for our planned two years in Honolulu for my classes at University of Hawaii. The driver (who counts the bags upon guests entering his shuttle) gave me a knowing look upon saying bye that said he knew there was one more of our bags still in his shuttle: "Are you *sure* you unloaded *all* your bags?" He was half smiling at his fortune ("duping delight" smile as criminologists call it: written all over his face). My wife was so badly jet lagged after our long flights from Thailand and Korea and Japan to Hawaii, she was in no condition to unload or count bags (she trusted me to recall all her bags; I missed one of her bags). I too was really tired and tragically miscounted her bags. Even if he only made a mistake counting the incoming bags, the driver easily could have called us once our bag was discovered in his shuttle: the bag he stole was marked (on the outside of the stolen bag) with huge tape banner clearly stating our Hawaii address, Hawaii phone numbers, email address, names. We of course went to his boss at the airport to tell the manager on duty (white lady) we wanted our bag back. She did everything a slimy Manager will do (exactly as I saw practiced by a sleazy shuttle service in Vietnam): 1) realize her other incoming victims (customers) at HNL airport will hear my true story at kiosk and thus avoid her Seedy-Shuttle service, 2) isolate my wife and I from the potential new victims (customers) in terminal by trying to move us outdoors out of ear-shot of other customers, 3) song and dance like the company cannot help you since you were a walk-in, not a booked/reservation customer. As other victims have written in Yelp, these crooks don't give a damn about you as a person or finding your luggage: just like the shady transport in a few of Thailand's worst/infamous tourist traps like Ko Samui island (I lived in Thailand & SE Asia for 10 years) the Hawaii folks at "Seedy Shuttle" feel they've got an endless supply of victims (customers) lured to Hawaii's beauty all year round. The whole operation is a scam, I made a big mistake not reading the other Yelp reviews and prepaid for a round trip service and I just ended up waiting for the ride that never showed up rather than enjoying my trip. After waiting for 20 minutes for the shuttle to come, the driver took us to some other place in the airport to pickup more people. Normally, I wouldn't mind, but after flying for 8 hours and going through customs, leaving the airport 2 hours after landing put me in a horrible mood. I just wanted to go home. Maui Airport shuttle service: Be on the lookout for this angry woman that works there. When I walked up to buy a ride, I asked her how it works since I didn't have a hotel. When I brought out my wallet to pay, she yelled loudly "Do not try to bribe my driver!". Everyone kind of looked at her like she was a maniac. I explained to her that no one is bribing anyone - what? Anyway, no class so she tried to explain herself - but this person is angry. It's pitiable to an extent, but not when she's hurting the drivers. The worst part was that when I was on the shuttle, not one person put anything in the driver's tip jar despite exceptional service from the driver. I think everyone had seen the scene and didn't want to be seen as 'bribing him'. I was the only one that tipped him, and I am sorry that his job has to be effected by the angry woman who acts like she owns him "My driver". I don't want or need a refund or a response - I had great service - but you should be aware you have someone who is hurting the drivers, who don't deserve the bad reputation she gives the place.
