They knew we had to leave the hotel at 2pm and even called the day before To confirm it. They knew they needed to be in route to us by 1:30. Last minute we were trying to find a limo for my sons prom. I tried calling around to explain we didn't need the full "prom" package, because the kids had a hotel room & didn't need to be picked up after. So we just needed a one way trip. But once I'd say the word PROM, everyone(kanoa ,elite, opb, executive)said NO. Platinum did say no, and that they were very busy that day, but when I explained it was a one way, with no extra sight scene route, no pick up after, they squeezed us in. We did payment by phone $150 deposit &a the balance was charged the day before prom. I emailed a day before to double check pick up time, and payment - everything was good. Then a parent called and asked to move the time to an hour later.i called and due to their schedule they couldn't but let us change it to half hour later. Good enough for me. Driver came right on time, we were picked up in a dead end so he had to reverse &I was great. He engaged with the kids , asked to had a play list, set up the tunes and they were off. The limo driver was friendly, courteous and very professional. There were strobe lights in the back and they were able to plug in their iPods and listen to music. First of all, for VIP airport service, they're one of the few that have gate access for domestic travelers so they meet you at the gate instead of baggage claim with all the other services, saves you the trip on the wiki-wiki shuttle, and saves your client the headache of negotiating the terminal to baggage claim. Second, it's a locally owned company and you can always get someone on the phone if there's an issue, 24 hours a day. They provide the number of the driver so you can communicate with them directly regarding any changes, and ask them to call you on their way with confirmation of pick-up and drop. They have the best price for 10-person limos and the Chrysler limos we got were clean and looked pretty new and it was a good space inside. They arrived on time and delivered us to our church and reception site without a hitch! I knocked off a couple of stars because one of the limo drivers was rude. Me and my ladies were running a little late and when he spoke to one of my bridesmaids he was rude and grouchy. It's a wedding day for goodness sake! Are women ever on time??? This is a customer service job SO BE NICE. Tell us politely! The gratuity is automatically included when you sign the contract which may explain why this driver did not feel the need to be nice to us on my freakin wedding day. The last thing you want on your wedding day is to be met by a rude person who's acting like accommodating you is a burden. Especially when it's their job. Look, I tried not to be late. My family of 5 booked transfer from Waikiki (Moana Surfrider) to Disney's Aulauni on March 22 at 1:30 p.m. At 1pm, we asked our hotel concierge if we could push it back to 2pm and were told it would not be a problem. We arrived downstairs at 1:55pm and were told that the driver left and would not return. I called and spoke with the woman who identified herself as the manager, Mara. Mara informed me that the driver left to take another passenger, that her company would still charge us for the two hours we had reserved, and that it was not her fault. I rented a limo to celebrate someone's 60th a few years back, and requested a limo large enough for 10 people. We got the Excursion as well. First of all, if you are going to use their service, pay by credit card. There was a mix-up with the charges and they charged me extra. It took forever to get my money back, and I finally had to call the credit card company to get it back. The guy I spoke to did not return calls promptly and it was a challenge to get things straight. I've written an email directly to this company in hopes that I would not need to broadcast the poor service we received. We have since then, not had anyone reach out to us to address our concerns. So... here we are. We book PLS to transport our wedding party to our ceremony the day of. We booked 2 limo, one fore the ladies, one for the guys. Daniel drove myself and my bridesmaids to our destination and he was absolutely wonderful, very professional, informative, and we had such an awesome drive. His customer service skills are superb. However, the second driver who picked up my husband and his groomsmen was unacceptably rude. While trying to hook up their phones to the Bluetooth, they were having a difficult time and he would not provide any assistance and simply stated "people do it all the time". No assistance was provided, nothing. Just an irritated response. Along with the drivers attitude he brought that morning and his unwillingness to help, the AC in the limo was not working properly. This was definitely not an acceptable way to start off our wedding day. Driving to our venue is one of the most exciting parts of the day and you definitely spoiled that for him. Do not hire this pseudo limo service. What a joke! The limo was dirty and was not cleaned from the last rental. The worst part was the limo's air conditioning was broken! It was 85 degrees outside, and 90 degrees inside! The whole wedding party was dying inside the limo. The driver tried to convince everyone we did not know how to use the AC controls in the back. I wanted to rent a party bus for my birthday and I came across this company. When I was looking online it says that they have a 16 passenger bus that comes with a stripper pole, etc. And it has a picture on the bottom of what it looks like. I thought it was super nice and it looked spacious so I decided to call to see what their rates were. When I called, the girl that answered was very friendly and helpful and when I asked about the party bus she said that they have a 16 passenger and a 20 passenger bus and that the 16 didn't come with the stripper pole but the 20 did. So I was a little thrown off because their site didn't say any of that. Their price was very reasonable so I still decided to rent the 20 passenger bus. The day comes and the driver calls 2 hrs ahead to confirm everything and I thought that was very professional. The bus arrived on time. When I went inside....I was very dissapointed. It looked NOTHING like the picture on their website. It was still nice but I was imaginig somethig better. It was a down grade. I don't know if they have more than one 20 passenger bus and I just got the uglier one. I felt tricked. They should update their fricken website to show what their party buses actually look like. Plus when you call to reserve you have to put a $150 deposit to hold the date you want and that's included in the price and you pay the final balance the day of. When I was going to pay my balance the driver didn't take off $150 and I told him I paid my deposit and he apologized and fixed it. He said he trusts me and he didn't bring any paper work with him so he's just going to take my word for it. Um that is not professional at all! THIEVES!!!! This company is operated by THIEVES. I was part of a group that hired a limousine to and from a UH Warrior football game. After the game I dropped my cellphone in-between the seat of the limo, it fell below the seat and we were unable to reach it with our hands. The driver (Ed) did his best to help me, but it was dark and the phone had fallen below the seat which would need to be removed to get the phone. Ed gave me his card and told me to call the company and they would retrieve the phone the next day. I called the company and NO ONE returned my call. Finally, I had a friend call Ed who had the audacity of accusing me of "being wasted" and said they "weren't responsible." 1) I was not "wasted" 2) that is a moot point because I KNEW exactly where my phone was - it was not left behind or lost by a drunk. I would never have left the limo if I wasn't assured by the driver that the phone would be returned. Days later I was finally able to speak with a manager (Fred) who said the limo was out and he would have the mechanic check when the car returned. He did return my call, but of course the phone was NOT there... We rented the Excursion for our wedding because it was big enough to hold the wedding party and some strays just in case they needed a ride since some of us didn't rent cars. It fit well, but the airconditioning SUCKED! I couldn't feel anything, we got more cool air from opening the windows and i was so hot and melty in my big wedding dress. The limo ride was also very slow and I don't think our driver knew how to drive the excursion because he took forever to turn in parking lots and he drove SOoOoOo slow.... the cars behind us were backed up for a mile because of us. Also, one of my groomsmen left his phone in the limo, and when we called him back right when he left he said that he didn't see a cell phone but the last place he had it was in the limo cuz he made a call there on the ride home. boo! read more

We rented a suburban for six people. We were all very comforatable. We also had a driver Jason K., he was amazing. He was on time, kind, and very helpful helping us plan our day with him driving. He had great suggestions on where we should visit. The great part of renting the limo instead of going on the bus tour is you are not rushed at each stop and you have a personal guide with Jason. He treated us like we were his family and he took great care of us. He kept asking if we were good and if he could do more. We would definately use them again on our next trip to Oahu. Today, January 3, 2015, my boyfriend had rented the Maybach 57s to pick us up at our residence and dropped off at a restaurant in downtown Waikiki. First off, the car is phenomenal. The best ride you can have for the price. The experience in the car was a "once in a lifetime", because reality is....you will never be able to afford one. Secondly, my driver, Jason, was an amazing guy. He knew the car and the company thoroughly. He was very polite, respectful and catered to your needs/wants. When it was getting close to the pre-determined time that I asked him to pick me up, he actually parked 2 minutes down the street and waited. We rented a Hummer stretch limo for an afternoon sightseeing trip in the Ko'Olina area on our wedding day, Christmas eve of 2013. Not rating a 5 because - would have been a 5, except that the AC in the limo needs to be fixed I think - we had it cranked and the vehicle wouldn't cool down - time for some freon ! The car was the car though, what made this a great experience was our driver, Frank. If you rent from Platinum I would ABSOLUTELY REQUEST Frank. He was on time, extremely courteous and patient. What was outstanding was his deep knowledge of the culture and history of Hawaii and the places we visited. We not only got taken to some very private and quite areas of the island that a tourist would never find, Frank provided a cultural and historic overview of the area that was genuine and could only come from someone with a lot of knowledge and deep connection to their home. A friend of my mine rented a stretched escalade from these guys. When it arrived the driver told us the amp to the radio blew on the drive over to pick us up (...weird because amps are usually only required for subs to work properly and the entire sound system didn't work). I didn't buy it. So he said he was gonna take us to our first stop and then switch the limos out for a similar one with a working radio. Needless to say the ride from Kaneohe (where my friends n I live) to Rock Bottom on University was lame without any radio because the music is basically half the experience of renting a party style limo. Then to put the icing on the cake, the driver had his radio playing in the front. For those who know me, the party goes on regardless. So we get to Rock Bottom and he leaves to get this bomb ass stretched hummer with sick sounds and a nicer/roomier interior. Thing is we only drove it from Rock Bottom to The Addiction, which was our planned final destination. At this point it's the usual time to tip the driver. So I ask em what kind of compensation we can get for the broken limo and crappy experience during the majority of the ride. He said nothing. And after an hour of arguing, he didn't budge. The limo was $600+. Platinum Limousine is super lame. If you want a working limo and good service look up the X-1 Fighter party bus. Way better! read more

All staff I booked the cars with were professional and friendly. On the day of the wedding, all drivers were courteous, professional, and friendly. All cars were clean, and the driver of the Hummer also helped the bridal party ensure all their belongings were cleaned out and returned to the group before he departed - experienced with this type of thing I'd say.... I'm not sure if its just cause the big companies stop caring about the little people but customer service should never stop! I was driving last night and got so severely cut off by a hummer limo that I almost fell off my moped! I understand those big limos have pretty big blind spots but that does not prevent the driver from using their turn signal, which this driver did not use as they abruptly moved into my lane. They need to teach their drivers to be more careful. So I called the number on the back of the limo, not to complain or get compensation but just to inform them so they can make their drivers safer, theres mopeds all over Hawaii, thats not changing the drivers have to. It was after hours so there was a driver(Jeff) that answered the phone--SO unprofessional I cant even tell you, he answered assuming I was his pick up and didn't even say Platinum Limousine, I thought I had the wrong number. I just didn't bother, I cooled down and called the next day to talk to a manager and he was very nice and apologetic but rushed me off the phone and gave me no reassurance that the driver would be dealt with, the safety and professionalism needs to be fixed here, this Jeff and the driver of Pltnm3 at 845pm on 4/10 needs to be dealt with or Ill make sure that me and my friends take our local business elsewhere! read more
